This had gotten started on another thread, where it did not quite fit, so I thought I would give it it's own thread.

The Gothic Cruise 2010 is set to sail out of Miami, Florida September 25. I am super excited about this one, because my crew is part of the festivities.

Two times a year we host Taboo Masquerade here in Ybor City, part of Tampa, Florida. This is a fantasy and Fetish event. This year we will be hosting Taboo 5 ON BOARD!!

WOW! this sounds really cool. It sucks that I can't go though for financial reasons and the fact that I'll be in school by the time this even rolls around.

I agree that many may not be able to go due to financial reasons or other reasons.

I just wish that they would have the cruise when school is out. Being a teacher I can't get time off during September. :(

This is a fun thing for those who wish to take part. I am lucky enough to be a part of the group helping with the performance. I am excited about getting to be with my dear friends and meeting new ones.

i know that i can't afford to go this year, but i have a lot of friends that have gone in the past and it's been very much worth their while.

The Gothic Cruise is a wonderful event.
I attended the 2008 cruise and had a lot of fun.
I completely forgot about it last year so I didn't go.
Don't have the money this year, but I plan on going next year.

Yes, this is expensive, but cruises are expensive.
This is cheaper than you would pay to go on this cruise alone.
The prices are group prices.
I am kinda disappointed that the freaks are sponsoring it now.
I wish Cancer would go back to sponsoring it.

This is actually a good price for a cruise. The Gothic Cruises are probably a crazy fun, but I'm boat sick. :(

Mikey, have you ever been on a cruise?
They are so large that a lot of people don't even notice the movement.
And if you are of age, you can spend the whole time inebriated because all the drinks are included in the price of admission.

I've been on water before, and just the sight of water makes me dizzy. I probably wouldn't notice it in the day time, but whenever I sleep I know I'll feel it, and I don't wanna risk 1 grand for a week throwing up.

Also I'm not gonna drink myself to sleep...maybe. Haha :)

I've been car sick before, but I grew out of it. Maybe I'd grow out of this too. This is def an event to go to and I'd love to...maybe next year.

Maybe we could hang out next year.

I attended 2007, and 2008 cruise and had the time of my life!!!! I will attend future cruises as money and time permits. This cruise is a bit expensive as far as cruises go. But with the perks of all of the bands and private functions it is a cruise of a lifetime! But for the people that have never been on a regular cruise do not think they are all high dollar and you cannot afford them! LOL That is too funny...LOL And I can say that VNV will never play on another Goth Cruise...So, that should not be on any ones mind. Especially if you were on the 2007 cruise...

Why won't VNV come back?

Saving up now as best we can. I doubt Myself and my other half will be attending this year as she would be due to give birth anytime in September. That would be all we need to have her go into labor during our stay. we'll have to see what the Baby decides.lol

The cruise with VNV was FUCKING BOMB!!!!!!

Do to aesthetic differences Taboo 5 will not be held on The Gothic Cruise this year.

Taboo 5 will still be held however at The Castle in Ybor City, Florida. The event will be on the Saturday before Halloween.
