Free comic book day is on the first saturday of May. That's May 7th of this year. Many comic book stores will be having events and giving away some items, it depends, but a free comic is included. Depending on which stores have the offer of course. Places like St. Marks comics will be doing this event but make sure to use this LINK for details.

It happens every year. It used to be every may 1st but the rules have changed to every May the first Saturday. That means it will be on the 7th this year.

did anyone go to megacon down in florida this year? cuz stan lee was there and he was doing autographs for $55 and william shatner was there as well

Oh wow, sounds exciting. I'm no where near there though.

Last year I agreed to go on a T.V. news type of thing and got some t-shirts and stuff. :P I was pretty cool. Then I went to St. Marks comic's to get some more free stuff. In NYC.

My love this event, my regular comic store does it every year. It's great.
