The true measure of a good deed is not so much what you did, but rather why you did it.

An act of kindness should not be done for self-gain or self-satisfaction... it should be done for the gain or satisfaction of the recipient.

If a compliment or friendly gesture comes from the heart, a "thank you" should not be required or even expected.

Reading through the journal of my "special" friend, the awesomely traumatizing and brilliantly frightening gal pal, CryingDutchess, I came upon an entry in which she invites readers to come up with a suitable quote for a Whelp. I'm not sure if my offering is even close to what she was expecting or hoping for, but I kinda dug it, man. I mean, it almost seemed profound or something... deep... moving... neato mosquito. Whatever... I liked it... that's all that matters anyway.

Read it and weep... or yawn... or laugh your ass off... regardless, I made ya look. ;)
