It had a good long run. I know some wanted it to last longer but many of the actors are playing immortals and they are aging. So it had to come to an end soon. I'm sure they will get plenty of sales of the program on disc.

Personally I did not like the show. But I know what you mean some shows are dragged out and when they finally end it is still a disappointment. I mean seriously "Lost" was all one persons purgatory wtf.
