~To my forever friend~

Could it be that we were so close because it was rejected we both taken? Or was it we were so different that it was destined to be a fit? I can’t say…But what I can say is I really miss you. Every Saturday I remember your early morning wake up calls. I used to get so angry that you would wake me up four in the morning, but I ended up smiling when you said I love you kiddo. Or the time your grandmother died, you cried. I sat next to you and cried too. Or the time when you found my razor in my backpack, you were there for me the whole time. You were my partner in crime. My forever friend. I cherish every single memory that I have of you. But as time seem to change, you became distant and away..Now I wonder what has happened in the past years. You took your own life...What happened? What have you done? What did I miss? I sit here now, falling back deeper and deeper. I search for answers of why. Never finding them…But I’ll always love you, my friend, just as I know you will always love me. Save me a spot on the broken stairway to hell.
