Polite people - I love polite people.
It's not a lot to ask for a nice smile, a polite demeanor and a simple "Hello".
It doesn't really hurt you does it?
At work today I got a lot of people simply saying, "You're happy, aren't you?"
And a few even said,
"It's weird seeing someone so happy in their job"
I'm generally happy in life in general, not just my job - I don't see the point in being miserable when I could spread a smile around :)
Problems at home are problems at home, not elsewhere, and I doubt other people are going to be very caring about it, it doesn't affect them, and it isn't going to, so why bother spreading it?
At the end of the day, i'm polite to people because I like them to be polite to me. It's not a large trade-off really.
And it really makes me happy when other people are nice to me, without me being initially nice to them, it just proves that they have the strength of character to be nice people... and I think they deserve a lot of respect for that :D
Friends.
Forever reasonable, independant, enigmatic, no-going-back, decisive and sugar.
Yes, sugar.
What? I like sweet things too :D

This is so true.
Often people ask what the point of being nice is...about as much as being cruel...except being nice, is well...much nicer.
It isn't really that hard at all.
