The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

When did it happen, how did it happen, or did it ever actually happen? That's what I want to know about this. I want to know when any of us collectively agreed that headlines involving disputes should use words like "Slammed" or "Blasted" on a constant basis, for every statement.

As in: Convicted killer blasted by judge at sentencing.

Or: A-List celebrity slams critics over poor reviews.

Why is it slammed and blasted? I expect to see people flying around the room if they're being blasted and at the very least shut out of a room if they're being slammed but instead it's just people saying things. This language is too extreme, we need to walk it back and open a thesaurus.

And social media comments are "attacks". Sometimes, it's just an opinion. Sometimes we won't agree. And even if you're offended, you're probably gonna be just fine.
