That is 1 theory. The other main theory goes along with the theory that the entire movie is based on the gold rush of the USA. And that Oz stands for ounce, and if you read the actual book you will see that the shoes were silver (another well searched for metal in this country that caused a "rush"). There are many other things including that the characters that are with her stand for people in American history (including Theodore Roosevelt and many others).

i'm getting a passport! it's good for ten years. (: it's $115 to get the passport. it usually takes two to three weeks to get it. i'm soo excited ^-^. that means when i have the money i can go see Danko. i fucking hate sarah too. I lost track of time, and didnt go to studyhall. She's pissed at me because I was at school up untill studyhall. I was there till 12. She was no where to be seen. She was with Samantha. I did do research on the stupid poet. I had it all done. I just forgot to go to studyhall today. So she can be fucking pissed of at me. I dont care. well... it was just a thought. someone might make a big deal about it or something... maybe it's just me, but everyone seems to judge everyone, even if they aren't gay. They judge people if they are gay, they tend to judge what's on the surface... I know they're like everyone else. they're amazing people. Being gay isnt a bad thing... I love gay people. One of my friends, i was going to say best friend, but he's not my best friend, is gay. He's an amazing person. People tend to judge whethere someone's gay or not... they judge if you're big, they judge if you're small, they even judge what you're wearing. you know... this is what i get for thinking... I'm not bashing gay people either... I happen to love everyone even they are or aren't gay. Why would you need one? Maybe someone wants to judge another from the surface. I tend think about this kind of stuff, and most of the time people don't respond to it... again it was just a thought that was kind of bothering me... -.- i tend to write pointless entries about stuff that kind of bothers me...

lastnight i watched brokeback mountain. I was up till 12:35 watching it, and i was thinking to myself that the relationship between Jack and Enius is like my relationship with Tori, except I never get to see Tori. I never get to hug her, I miss her all the time, and we only talk through messenger, never on the phone or anything. :( I think she's cheating on me too.... = She said she'd never cheat on me, but once a cheater, always a cheater... >.< Jack Twist is uberly in love wtih Enius, and I believe that Enius is really in love with Jack at the beginning of the movie, but gradually falls out of it. I liked the part where Jack first comes to town after four years and Enius storms down the stairs and attacks Jack in kisses and hugs. It makes me smile. :) I also like the part where Enius goes to Jack's parents and goes up to his room and eventually finds his shirt that Jack kept all those years. It's sad in a way cause Jack died, but it also meant that Jack was hopelessly in love with Enius. anyway.... enough writing about the movie, I think it's an amazing love story that everyone should watch, even if they are homophobic.



I think Tori's cheating on me, and I can't ask her cause well I'm afraid to and she'll never break up with me cause i dont think she's like that... I wish Darrell was here so she could talk to tori for me. :) hehe I love tori a lot and she means a lot to me, but i'm starting to think that she really doesn't care for me and the relationship is just a phony. -.-

My name is Rachel Hansen. I am currently eighteen years old and am enrolled at Huron Highschool as a senior.



I am writing the vr world because I got accepted into Up with People and on the fundraiser sheets it says post to a website. Soo that's what I'm doing. :)



I applied for Up With People in November and we had many interviews set up, but the lady never called us back. The day I turned eighteen I got a call from A guy named Nicky and he asked if we could do the interview the next day and I said sure. The next day he called and we did the interview and after it was done he told me that I should start doing fundraisers and I should hear from them in 2-4 weeks.



Nine days later I had to take my computer into the helpdesk cause it was being a hobo. I had no computer at all till 2:30ish. At three I checked my email and I had four from my friend Samantha and one from Up With People. They were telling me I had gotten accepted. I wanted to cry and laugh and scream at the same time. My mom wanted to cry and everyone was happy for me.



I have to raise 14,250 dollars to go for six months. That covers all my airfare, busfair, and traveling. It also covers food, places to stay while on tour, and back to the states when the tour is over.



Soo I'm asking for your help. Anything helps. like sending stamps or something. Every little bit helps. Even if it's a penny, it's one penny closer to my goal.



I recieved papers today and we have to have the money by May 15th. Sooo all your help will help me get to my goal.

a couple juniors in my la 11 class started digging themselves in a whole. they started bashing the senior class, and next year they'll be a better senior class with more school spirit and stuff. i kind of angry with them, wanted to start screaming at them, but i didnt, and i let them bash the senior class. sooo sorry i dont have any class spirit juniors, i dont like basketball, volleyball, or football. golf, wrestling, track, cross country, gymnastics, and any other sports, i hate them. you're not going to have that good of a senior class next year anyway. well in team spirit anyway. i know you have lots of preps that will be all for it, but there are ones that aren't for it. soo no need to bash this year's senior class for team spirit.

mom bought me a rice krispi for a snack tonight and it was really hard, so she suggested putting it in the microwave for a few seconds, she didnt specify... so i put it in for ten seconds and it exploded on the plate. but it was soft :)

i had a dream lastnight that Huron had a pride parade and there was a group of pepole that were handing out flyers about this meeting they were going to have the next day and it was at a beat down resturaunt. i went and i had to sneak through the back cause the front door was locked. soo i went and i walked in and it was a group of older people and i sat down and this one guy was speaknig in code telling the lady i was here or something like that. and the cops came and this one guy that i was sitting with started yelling at the cops and one cop shot one of those arrow things that make animals go to sleep. and the guy that got shot with the thingy fell asleep instantly and on my arm. and the lady told the cops to just calm down. so they stopped and stood at the back and the lady got up and started talking and it was about gay rights and stuff and the history of it. and i was amazed. and then we talked about the next thing we were going to do. and it wasnt white people. it was african americans. all of them. except the cops and me. and they were all older than me. and i specifically remember the lady speaking in code when the cops came. and the sign on the door said "go around back" so i had to go through trees and jump over rocks. and the place resembled dairy queen, but it was run down. and inside the floor was carpeted and the tables were set really nice. and there was a screen and projecter. and then i woke up when the lady was talking about the next thing we were going to do at the next meeting.
