The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I went with my husband to the Blade Rave this weekend. It was amazing, honestly the best rave I've been to! Some of the beats were a bit repetitive, but many of the dj's played great. They had themed vampire drinks, most notably they had a sour alcohol drink in a $25 blood bag. I wish they had a sweeter drink in the blood bag to be honest, but nonetheless it was a cool themed drink.
Before the rave, I met up with some girls from the spooky local group I joined online last week. They were all so sweet and nice, very welcoming. I can't wait to see them at whatever event I can go to next with them. They all had amazing makeup and red or black lipstick. I want to wear a dark lipstick but I haven't found a shade yet that I like. I had simple makeup just foundation, blush, and mascara. I used to do winged eyeliner but I get tired of trying to do it perfectly symmetrical.
At the Blade Rave they had lasers, lights, foggy machines I think, it was awesome. The venue they had it at must have been recently renovated in the last year because the last time I went last year to this venue the bar was in the middle but now it was on the left and right side. I like that they moved the bar to the sides because the dance area is much bigger now.

My husband and I are going to a Blade Rave tonight, I can't wait! There I'm meeting up with a goth / alt girls group for the first time since I joined their local group online, I'm a bit nervous as I only have one female friend currently irl - whom I don't see often since she works a lot understandably and doesn't go out much.

Six years ago I had to let go of my best friend whom I'd known since middle school for MANY reasons that just kept piling up until I'd had enough. I was extremely shy then and I slowly started to stand up for myself and realize how she treated me. I have a hard time reaching out to hangout with any potential friends because I'm honestly afraid to get close and I don't want to get hurt again. I miss the connection of having a best friend. My mom and my sister are my friends, but my mom lives an hour away now and my sister works a lot. Due to work I rarely get to go see my mom now. My husband's friends are my friends but it's not the same... because they don't want to talk about trendy fashion nor go to the mall, girly stuff etc.

What do you use to make your signatures / stamps on here? I've been using Picmix so far. Curious what others use? Layering on Picmix is somewhat of a pain to be honest. My old black and white rose signature stamp was made by an old no longer active friend on here, I'm not sure what he used.

I've personally have always used Photoshop for my images. But I do understand that that isn't accessible to a lot of people, so Gimp has been a good free alternative.

Does anybody ever broadcast on the webcams? When I first started on VR 12 years ago, I honestly don't remember if anyone really was ever broadcasting? If people were broadcasting, what were they broadcasting about??

The webcam feature hasn't worked for years, unfortunately. But when it did work, it was a lot of fun. Morrigon and Birra did fun little cooking sessions, and then the mostly random topics with other members. That's the one feature I'd love to see Cancer bring back, because I always loved hoping on cam and talking with friends and strangers alike.

My husband and I just got our tickets for a Blade Rave, I can't wait to go! I've been wanting to go to a vampire themed event for a long time. The only other vampire events are usually expensive vampire masquerade balls hours away from me... This Blade Rave is right in town for me and I can't wait to go! I got the day off from work the day after like I requested, I can't wait! I'm excited to see what kind of music they'll play.

I've been down because a spooky club we had in town had closed permanently... They had gorgeous gothic furnishings. Now that I'm getting weekends off soon I'll be able to go out at night on the weekends again. There's an 80s nightclub I've been wanting to return to that only occurs late every Saturday night. I can't seem to find my cute little black ruffly dress I usually wear when I go out. I'll have to go through my closet AGAIN, maybe it fell somewhere in there?

That's cool. It's on my bucket list to go to a vampire ball but they are far away from me too and the local goth scene is quite barren now probably because of the economy. I was just asking my girlfriend if she wanted to go dancing but she was hell no because we'd be like the only ones there.

Tiktok and Instagram is what I've been using to try to find little 'hole in the wall' places that have a consistent following of regulars that go. I got Sunday off so I can hopefully go to 80s night if my cold is gone by then, fingers crossed.

"I was in a big house, a mansion. My room was very vintage and victorian. My room was on the ground floor, with large windows looking out to the beautiful lush landscape. The sun was setting, everything was flashing really quick, I crouched down covering my head. Since it was almost dark out, a vampire could come. I got out my journal to write to my vampire protector who I was lonely for. Was his name Ragnarok? He looked like Hagi from Blood+. I used to have short hair, but I had grown it out past my shoulders in this dream."

"I married a white haired vampire. It was an outdoor wedding ceremony at night. It's kind of hazy, but I feel like there were two weddings. One wedding was with my boyfriend (my husband irl now) and the other wedding was with the white haired vampire whose hair was combed back. I wore a red dress. I was nervous. I walked up to the vampire, whom I really loved in this dream. He stood in the middle of everyone who stood around us. I saw his two fangs when he kissed me, it hurt. I held onto him and he held me up so I wouldn't fall over. I was feeling a rush, was I changing? I felt like he was protective over me. In a dream after that, he was stuck in a tomb cursed, but he was able to leave because he was loved by me. I feel like I had met him the night before in a dream. In the dream I thought to myself that I should write down my dream and tell my mom about it."
