I am sorry I have not posted.. or been around much this past 4 days... :D

Khornesone finally arrived back in the US and here to the base we live on safe and sound. Our days since his arrival have been filled with getting reacquainted with each other and the children. Getting him adjusted back into our schedules and lifestyle.

Being a military family is always an adventure and a challenge. Being one that has just reunited with a service member that has been gone for 12 months or longer, its even more of an adjustment and challenge.

There are so many things we have to go through and do that people do not realise. What could we possibly have to do you ask?

Lets start with.. Hey.. there is another person in this house that has not been here for a year and his shoes are in the entry way. O.o

Who started a load of laundry without me having to ask for help with it?

Uhm... who left this light on? We have not really been in the garage that much for the most part.

Hey.. oh.. its you coming in the door.. sorry dear. :D

Who left the TV on and what in the world are you watching?

Iae... Stop with the cartoons... what do you mean it was not you?



Lets also not forget that I must go through some adjustments as well.. I have been a single parent again, for all intents and purposes, for the last 12 months. Sole payer of the bills, shopper of the food stuffs to feed the minions, and driver of the mini van I have dubbed "My Broom". I have ruled my home, keeping him informed of things through email, phone calls, online messengers and video chats. I must now start relinquishing the control of certain things back to him, though I don't see me getting out of paying the bills. :( I think I am stuck with that job.



So as our house hold gets reacquainted with each other and the things that we must do to get our family lifestyle back in sync with each other, I ask your patience. This first weekend having him home has been a blessing.



I will respond to messages as I can. I am try to get on VR at least once a day. Soon it will be more often again and for longer periods of time then an hour. :)



Ok.. bed time. Yet another thing that has to take some getting used too. :) Always worth the effort though.

I used to work away from home a lot and I know Mrs ban used to find it very different when I came back home, as she also took charge of many things and in a way, became the boss of the house.



I actually quite liked her being the boss, so her role stayed!



Getting reacquainted with each other is what I looked forward to most!
