So I got KO's birthday present to me today.



There is a running threat that he has, if I don't tell him what I want he will resort to jewelry. I do not wear a lot of jewelry.



So.. I asked for a web-cam and here is what I got.









And it's beautiful and its my birthstone and he didn't get the web-cam. ;p He sent money for one instead. LOL Picked it up today.



With the present came a card with a poem by Emily Matthews. It is called "This Is My Promise of Love"

I will be having limited time on VR for the next several weeks.



I have a woman's conference here on base where I live on the 13th of March, I have been asked to be a guest speaker and instructor. (Woohoo for Friday the 13th!!!)



As many know from posts in my journal my friend Camilla has finished her radiation treatments. Well the 16th of March is reconstructive surgery and I have to have here there at 5:30am.



The 17th is Department of the Army Accreditation at the office and I have to make sure all of my files are in order per regulation. (Which they are but people are being anal.)



Then to make it even more fun... I may be having eye surgery on the 20th of March. It will be decided on that day and it will be an outpatient procedure.

So I am talking to KO on Skype, yes we got it working finally, and I get a phone call on my house phone.. Normally I would have let it go to voice mail but I decided to pick it up.



Its my brother Michael.. He has just arrived in Afghanistan and wanted to let me know he was safe and ask what FOB Matt is on. So I give him the information and guess what.. they are currently at the same FOB. Opposite ends but still the same place..



They will be having lunch or dinner together tonight. My step mother is very glad that they are, for the time being, at the same location. I do not know how much more she can take because Mike just told her that Lesley, his fiancee, just came up on orders to Iraq.



I think I will need to go see my Dad and Step Mom here soon...
