Old Stomping Grounds

So, I had to attend a seminar at the Ye Olde Stoping Grounds, aka Cumberland, and not one thing appears to have changed. Parking is still abysmal. It was definitely weird to be back. I don't think I have been over there in at least 10 years, maybe longer. It was neat visiting with some of my old professors, who are still there, and feeling like a real colleague. This year will mark 20 years since we graduated and passed the bar. I asked my friend who attended the seminar with me, if he had the desire to run through the law library screaming "don't do it! It's not too late! Run!" He said no. Deadpan. Strangely, I felt a duty to warn.

Anyway, the weather is gross. It is supposed to rain 4-5 inches today. All I want to do is cuddle up on the couch with a blanket, a nice fire in the fireplace and a glorious red zin.

I have been sick for the last several days which has left me in less than a good mood. I arrived at work today to find out that a co-worker apparently went through everyone's computers on Friday night after we all left. What she was looking for, I do not know. If is a damn good thing that she did not access my personal email like she did another co-worker. I am already mad as hell, but that would have pushed me right over the top.
