Going into this weekend, I can honestly say, I have zero expectations.
But after the premiers I have to film and photograph a symphonic performance commemorating the anniversary of the opening of the Erie Canal.
It's kind of wild the jobs that fall my way in my photography and video life.
I'll credit it to years of persistence and going the extra mile.
People have been reaching out to me to tell me that even our movie trailer to advertise the premiers is funny.
So, that's something.
Absolutely wildly hectic weekend making a movie and getting it submitted to the contest in under 48 hours.
We made a funny, goofy, movie that had everyone on the crew in stitches all day filming.
It didn't come out perfect. Discovered some audio issues during editing that couldn't be rectified in a timely manner, but over all, the movie looks good, sounds good, and is filled with some pretty laugh out loud moments.
Premiers in the theater on Saturday, along with what looks to be 18 other films made last weekend.
I don't expect much, but if I hear laughter in the theater my heart will be happy.
