Back from Vacay. New truck was fantastic. So much better on gas than my old truck despite technically being the same engine, having the same economy rating and being a heavier vehicle.

Comfortable, plenty of room. Even the dog was more settled and relaxed.

The vacation was ok. The AirBNB experience gets worse with every trip.

Air BNB is now, pay hotel prices + for sleeping on whatever beat up and used mattress we threw in this cheap flip of an apartment, and do your own dishes and take out the trash and hope we don't find an excuse to charge you even more. By the way, only a 5-star rating will be tolerated.

It was awful. And the AC in the room was SO LOUD. And it kept turning on and off all night.

We didn't get much sleep for not the right reasons.

Taking the new truck across state for a little vacation this week. Going to go be a hippie for a few days, enjoy nature, catch a concert and a music festival...

Yesterday was whirlwind.

But who else could pull off a 24-hour marathon of travel and accomplish something that the world seems to want to stop every step of the way?

Put almost 1500 more miles on my body in the process.

I've still got it. ;)

Gardens are really starting to come together.

Tomatoes and peppers at gardens north have become their own forest, and they're helping the basil grow wild too.

Gardens south started a little later, but the growth over the past few days has been noticeable, and all of the plants are starting to flower.

It's encouraging!
