Heh, one of the things you have to love about Izumi is that every time somebody asks her who or what she is she replies, "I'm just a passing housewife." It's too good.

Something I always wonder when people say they're Satanists, are they actually Satanists or are they devil worshipers? Believe it or not there is a difference. Being a true Satanist has absolutely nothing to do with devil worship and is actually more a way of life than a religion.

I take excellent care of my teeth but due to an unfortunate incident with a trampoline I'm missing my two front ones. It's probably the only thing about me that embarrasses me. People see that and judge me, it really pisses me off. If only I had enough money I'd love to get them fixed but I don't so I can't. They were fixed when it happened but it was only temporary, I didn't know this until it happened to me but apparently your body can reject teeth much the same was as organs. At least I have a fake for one of them so it only looks like I'm missing one.

I didn't think I remembered how but when I saw the equation in Morrigon's journal the correct equation to solve it popped into my head as if it had always been there, like in the movies when they're talking about someone and the whole time the person is actually a table away.

After a comment left in my journal I think I'd like to point something out that most people are unaware of: Some words considered to be inappropriate today weren't originally. Take 'damn' as an example, wasn't considered foul language until people started misusing it. 'Shit' only became inappropriate because people in high society shunned the word as one only for commoners.

Now, lets take a moment to look at what the dictionary has to say about the word 'vulgar' and keep in mind that 4 is the oldest definition:

1. Crudely indecent.

2.

a. Deficient in taste, delicacy, or refinement.

b. Marked by a lack of good breeding; boorish. See Synonyms at common.

c.Offensively excessive in self-display or expenditure; ostentatious: the huge vulgar houses and cars of the newly rich.

3. Spoken by or expressed in language spoken by the common people; vernacular: the technical and vulgar names for an animal species.

4. Of or associated with the great masses of people; common

A thought came to me a little bit ago, if people actually shat bricks when they were surprised it would be the the most inexpensive building supply out there. Probably the easiest to come by too.

On another note: Anyone else find it odd that the past tense of shit (shat) is almost never used, most people use shit as both past and present tense but that isn't right.

Can you really say that any tense of a vulgarity isn't right as opposed to any other tense of the same? Ohhh.

If people really did crap bricks, it might get expensive. The crapper owns the brick, right? And the right to sell it. . . .

Dabbler...I actually did ask that question as a newbie to a few, since my profile was void...LOL!

I figured out later that the 10 rates were 'to get me started' and of course I appreciated them...still strange to me though, is when people rate profiles that aren't even completed...

But hey - we all have our own standards.

Wow, talk about childish. I rated someone a 6 so they go and rate both my profile and portfolio a 1. *shakes head* People, learn that there are 10 numbers for a reason and that nobody is entitled to a high rate. If you want to be technical, 10 is amazing/exceptional and 1 would be horrible which would make 5 and 6 average and the other numbers varying degrees between.

A friend of mine suggested walking up to a complete stranger and acting like you used to know each other to screw with them, I'm sure we all know what it's like to have somebody that we can't remember even if it would save a life come up to us. I actually did this once, I was hangin' out with a friend at the mall and we were bored so I did just that. The only problem was that I ended up feeling like a total dick when it turned out that we really did know each other once upon a time and he remembered me but I didn't remember him. That really sucked. I thought he was just goin' along with it to avoid offending or seeming like a jack ass until he used my first name. Embarrassing.

I'm a very curious person by nature, when I find myself curious about something I will either ask somebody who I think will have an answer or be able to point me in the right direction or I will ponder the subject until I think I've figured it out. Sometimes this leads me to ask people odd or random questions for no other reason than I was curious. That's why I first asked the question, "If the universe were a cookie and I ate that cookie, would I become the universe?" I was just curious what kinds of responses I would get, see how people processed it. I think the best response I ever got was, "No, but if you did that would explain why everything is such shit."

I was bored the other day so I decided to do an experiment. I took somebody's screen name from here and did a search of it on Yahoo. That brought up another profile on a different site that had that same name, from that site I found their 2 email addresses and then I took those and did a search. This search brought up quite a few different sites that they had accounts on, one of them was from when the person was 16 but they were listed as 21. I poked around their various profiles, occasionally getting new information to add to the search. In less than half an hour I had the names of their parents, there current and one former address, where they went to school, etc., etc...

You should stop and think about this when putting information on the net, I could have located that person with less than half the information I found. All that makes it easy for someone with malicious intent to make your life unpleasant, or worse. I have enough info on the net myself that I could probably be tracked down by somebody with a mind to, it's not a good thing but it is how it is.

Yes, people easily forget how easy it is to track and trace them on the internet... Heck many people don't even realize what a "google" search of their name will bring up.

It makes me want to try even harder to keep my information to myself... I already don't use my name online, my address, and I try to limit usernames to each site... All that being said I probably could be traced easy enough.

The thing that gets me is that it wasn't all that many years ago that there was a lot of focus on this type of thing, there were constantly reports of stalkers, rapists, child molestors, and murderers using little bits of information off the net to track people and do their thing. There were ads, news reports, and what not warning people not to put any more information on the net than they absolutely had to.

Here's something to keep in mind, everybody likes to have an ego boost once in a while. In my experience that's one of the best ways to flirt, I call it the Ego Stroke. There are different ways to do it but I find the best is what I like to call the Once Over. What you do is you check someone out by a quick full body glance, you try to be obvious without being rude and end the glance with eye contact. Granted most of the flirting I do is innocent fun, not trying to pick up on people, but I find that gets some of the best responses. Like today, I was in line at Wal-Mart and this really good lookin' woman gets in line behind me and I give her the once over and she gives me a wicked grin. I can see that her stuff probably won't take as long as mine so I offer to let her go ahead of me. She then looks in my eyes with that same grin on her face and says, "I don't know, I ususually don't finish first" and then intentionally brushes against me as she walks by. Flirting without going too far or being rude, it's just fun.

What are the odds of two different computers both having the driver for their mouse becoming corrupted at the same time?

Both of my computers have started having trouble lately but I couldn't figure out the problem. It would start out with the cursor freezing temporarily or being jerky and eventually the mouse just wouldn't work anymore and I'd have to restart the computer, once the computer finished coming back on we would start over. I tried running various anti-virus/spyware and registry cleaner/repair programs but none of them fixed the problem. Then as of about midnight last night the mouse simply stopped working completely, on both of them. So I went to Wal-mart and got a new one that works through a USB port instead and I'm having no problems. Now I just have to figure out what to do about the other computer, its USB ports aren't working so I can't use this mouse on it and the mouse driver isn't working so I can't use a normal mouse. I can just stick in the System Recovery disk but I don't know if I have anything on that computer that I need and seemingly no way to find out and even if I could find out I can't do anything to save them anyway. That sucks.

I don't know exactly where it came from but I'm struck with the sudden urge to give my landlords my 30 day notice, get my place better than it was when I moved in, and then just pick up and go at the end of July. It wouldn't be all that hard really. If I get my place good enough I'll get my $300 deposit back, plus whatever amount my paycheck happens to be. If I don't go too far (somewhere like Sioux City or Omaha, even Des Moines wouldn't necessarily be out) that will leave me a good chunk of money to get settled and if I go for some place like McDonald's I'm sure I can get a job pretty quick and possibly with decent pay... *sigh* Damn that sounds so good but no, I know me too well to think that I'll actually do it.

I don't get why people have places they can't reach on their backs. My left arm will reach all but a small patch on my left shoulder and my right arm can reach that. Ok, yeah I can dislocate my left shoulder at will and that gives it more reach but even if I couldn't I would be able to reach all of my back still, half with my right hand and half with my left. All they really need to do is do some stretches on a regular basis and other people should be able to as well.

This song describes pretty well an internal struggle that I deal with every day, it can be hard when your mind doesn't want to accept this reality.

Imaginary by Evanescence:

I linger in the doorway

Of alarm clock screaming monsters calling my name

Let me stay

Where the wind will whisper to me

Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story

In my field of paper flowers

And candy clouds of lullaby

I lie inside myself for hours

And watch my purple sky fly over me

Don't say I'm out of touch

With this rampant chaos - your reality

I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge

the nightmare i built my own world to escape.

In my field of paper flowers

And candy clouds of lullaby

I lie inside myself for hours

And watch my purple sky fly over me

Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming

Cannot cease for the fear

Of silent nights

Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming

The goddess of imaginary light

Ok, these are a few things that I continually hear that bug me.

You can't get someone pregnant if you pull out before you cum... You people are fucking idiots who need to be neutered. It's called a cowper's gland, look it up. In fact, just research the human reproductive system.

A girl can't get pregnant during her period. Again, this is plain stupidity. For a certain amount of time the statistical probability of pregnancy increases during that time of the month. See suggestion above.

Drinking a lot of pickle juice before a drug test cleans your blood. No, it really doesn't. It masks the results to an extent but they can tell if you've done that. If it's for legal purposes you can get fined for tampering with the drug test. Golden Seal will clean you out but unfortunately they can still tell that you've tampered with it and you may get fined. If it's for employment purposes it will probably be ignored.

BBWs are rare. I've met one or two but most of the women who claim to be one are full of shit or just trying to make themselves feel better and/or hide their insecurity. Don't get me wrong, I'm not badmouthing bigger women. I'm a big person but I don't bullshit myself either, I know it detracts from my attractiveness.

Guys, being big boned is a rare thing. I'm not saying you're not but that has nothing to do with whether or not you're fat. I'm big boned but I'm still fat. All that means is that you have a wider frame and possibly thicker bones but fat is still fat, deal with it or get in better shape.

Birth control does not always prevent pregnancy, I have a friend who is living proof that there is a percentage of failure.

Yes Goths were a group of people that have died out. Guess what?! It's also a sub-culture that emerged in the '80s and '90s, so people still can be goth.

Regardless of whether or not vampires are myth people can be them. Maybe they're not the same as the ones we see in hollywood or in novels but they wouldn't be the first culture to be pulled out of stories and I'm sure they won't be the last.

Wow, I just found a hotel front desk position offering $15/hr. I decided to send in my resume. How could I not? That's the position I work now but at slightly more than twice the pay, here's hopin'!

I've been sending my resume to various employers with the hope of finding a new, better, and better paying job but the responses (or lack there of) have been discouraging. After some consideration I decided that it was my cover letter. I have to admit that I'm a little lost when it comes to cover letters, especially when sending them by email. The only thing I remember about them from the careers class we took in the 8th grade is that you should keep them short and to the point without being too generic. I think that's where I've been going wrong, mine have sounded a little too prefabed and recycled. So this is what I sent with my resume to this most recent job interest:

Hi, I'm *****. I saw your job listing on Craigslist and after reading it I became interested in the position and decided to send you my resume. I have been working as a hotel Night Auditor for a little over a year now and believe I have what you need. I won't carry on about being a hard worker, I'm sure everybody who applies probably gives you that, instead I will only tell you that if you hire me I will go above and beyond to earn the job and to guarantee that you don't ever regret the decision. If you're interested please contact me at this email address or the phone number I have in my resume. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

EDIT - GAH! It was nothing but a spam bot post! Fuckin' A, man. That really pisses me off.

This is something I'm wondering about. I only block people temporarily, either I'm waiting for their stamp to get bumped off my page or I block them until I don't care (a.k.a. forget) about what they did to upset me enough to block them (there have only been a couple that have aggravated me enough for that). So that makes me wonder, are these people going to revenge block me? Specifically I'm wondering about those I block until their stamp leaves my page. If so, are they only going to block me until I unblock them or are they just going to leave it? Meh, oh well. I found out today that I'm currently blocked by 1 person already, I wonder who it is?

If you are talking about expanding your profile with stamps that are too big, I really think it is Cancer that should fix parameters of how large they can be when you put the coding into the box like he does for uploading but all you have to do is get your friends to re-rate you and they will go off. I have only had it happen once. Most everyone's is ok. The name is at the very bottom of your scores when you update.

Hmm, with the change to the status system and what not the rating on my profile has changed. I'm assuming that is because certain members' ratings are worth more and others' worth less. Interesting, I think I like the new status system.

Today was fairly alright. I didn't manage to get to sleep until 1 this afternoon and then woke up at about 5:45. I went over to Tina's a little after 6 and hung out there until close to 9. At about time for me to leave we had an impromtu make out session. I leaned down to give her a kiss on the lips and it turned into a french kiss and continued from there for a bit, that went off and on for about 20 minutes until I finally got up and left. I'm not going into more detail than that.

My phone and internet are off right now because I've fallen behind on that again, I'm not earning as much monthly as my necessary expenses. I could afford to pay it all but then I'd really be goin' hungry. I miss a meal here and there as it is and once in a while I go a whole day or two without eating, both because of necessity and choice (the choice being when I spend some of my food money on something I don't need). I have to get a raise, I'm going to talk to the GM on monday and hopefully I get a chance to see the regional manager before she leaves tomorrow so I can corner her about it.

If a guy asks a girl "What's wrong?" or something along those lines they should NOT respond with "You should know" or anything similar. Guess what, unless you tell us there's no reason we should know. Saying anything like that is petty and a cop-out. Personally, if a girl says that to me I stop caring at that point, if she can't tell me than it's her problem not mine.

All those 'What guys are really thinking' articles are basically crap. Out of 100 things they say guys think they maybe get 4 right. Most of those come from guys who are players or are actually from women who think they know. Most men are pretty straight forward about what they're thinking if you ask them, unless of course we're thinking about something we shouldn't be. If we're not supposed to be thinking about what we are we may doctor the truth but that's more because we don't want to upset someone than because we don't want to get caught.

If you want to get something across to someone, anyone, don't hint. Just say it. If it's something you're too embarrassed to say than don't. If you're hinting because you think the other peson should know you well enough to figure it out, that's childish and unfair. Hints are only for helping you find something in a video game.

Don't ever use flirting tips from a magazine or website. Most tips for guys are written by guys and don't apply to all or even most women, the same can be said the other way around.

Ladies, your man isn't different when you're alone with him. He's different around anyone. Almost everybody is. Different people and situations tend to bring out different aspects of our personalities, that's a fairly standard human trait.

Shit, damn, piss, fuck.... People swear, if you don't like it get over it or don't go where you might hear it. Don't expect anyone to change their speech habits just for you.

I'm not a smoker but I think these state smoking bans are bullshit. If a person doesn't want to be around cigarette smoke they shouldn't go where people are smoking. If this means not going to the bar than all I have to say is waah, it's not like going there is a necessity and I don't think smoking should be banned because non-smokers want to go somewhere, if it's somewhere you have to go like the grocery store or something than obviously it wouldn't be fair for them to smoke there. Get over it and leave it up to individual businesses to decide if they should allow smoking.

Weed does less damage to us than the combination of cigarette smoke and alcahol, it's been proven. Tell me again why it's illegal?

Most women think confident men are sexy, most men feel the same way bout women. If a woman isn't afraid to show a little skin that doesn't mean she's a slut, it just means she's not afraid to show a little skin. If a guy touches a girl a few times on a date it doesn't mean he's touchy feely, it just means he's not afraid to let you know he's interested. If he is practically molesting you it's obvious what that means.

If somebody doesn't agree with your point of view that doesn't mean theirs is wrong. If you think you can avoid an argument, discuss and even civally debate with them about it. Who knows, maybe you'll both learns something.

I keep hearing about these 'studies' that say most males become intrested in sex around the time they're in middle school. The truth is, most guys have some level of interest in it in the 3rd grade.

Never ask your signifcant other to choose between you and a friend or relative. If they choose you in that situation they aren't a good friend or relative. There are exceptions to this, like when the friend is intentionally causing you problems.

Well, that's all I've got for now.

People always look at me like I'm crazy when I have a migraine (like I do right now) and act like it's no big deal. The thing is, when you get used to pain being a constant state the bigger pains just aren't as big of a deal. At least that's how I see it. I've been dealing with severe pain almost non-stop for years, to the point I don't notice it all that much anymore and that just makes worse pains what normal pains are to most people. When I was much younger a migraine like thise would have debilitated me but these days it's ignorable.

On a slightly related note: If you want some fun screwin' with people, go about your day and everytime you burp say 'cum' at the same time. Eventually somebody is going to ask "Did you just burp cum?" and that's when you turn it around on them and act like they're a sick perv.

Since tomorrow's my 22nd birthday, I have to work, and I've been good about not ordering pizza I've decided to treat myself today. You know, it's funny, when I was a kid I used to fantasize about what I would be like when I was a grown up and I usually pictured me at age 22. I'm not anything like I thought I would be. I had always imagined myself with all my real teath, a full head of hair, more muscular, about 6'2", I had always imagined that I would have grown out of my emotional instability but that was before we know I had any mental illnesses, and my fantasy self was always dating a girl with red hair and green eyes or black hair and green eyes (I've always had a thing for green eyes and ironically both of those are still my ideals). Even then I didn't have any clue what my grown up self would do for a living but in those fantasies I was never poor but never rich either, I had close friends and I was close with my family. That was who I'm supposed to be now. Funny how things turn out.

You know, sometimes I wish violence wasn't looked at as such an inappropriate answer. I'm not talking about violence to the point of serious damage but if some guy pisses me off I think I should have the right to beat the shit out of him, give him a black eye or two. Considering the naturally violent natures of most people, that our nation calls for violence to solve our international problems, and that our society in general is violent I'm surprised that violence on a small scale is such a taboo. We can go invade another country if they piss us off but if my neighbor lets his dog crap in my lawn and I choose to bust his jaw over I get arrested. Anybody else see something wrong with this?

Jeez, the sherrif's office called me looking for somebody I didn't have in my computer a little while back and a few minutes ago they called again. Apparently some woman's car was parked on the sidewalk in front of the YWCA and they were trying to get her to move it so they wouldn't have to tow it, cool on their part since they didn't have to go throught that effort. Finally I manage to find the people who own the car and they're both wasted. The woman was having a freaking meltdown because it's her car and this other woman was refusing to give the keys to her because she didn't want her driving drunk and the guy was being a total dick about it. Finally we got to the car and they both start freaking out some more and trying to take the keys from the woman and then the turned to me trying to get me to give them the keys I didn't have and wouldn't have given to them even if I did. I was just standing there trying to explain to them that all we were doing was moving the damn car to the parking lot so they wouldn't get towed, something we weren't obligated to do but were trying to do for them to be nice and so they wouldn't be stranded here when they live in MN.

Finally it got settled and I start walking back to the hotel with the chic who had been holding the keys (she's really hot by the way), she needs a little help walking straight and was leaning on me the whole time. She tells me that she was left here by her fiance because of something to do with her 3 kids, at this point I kind of check her out a bit because she is way too hot to have 3 kids (hey, I'm a guy). Of course she notices and I'm assuming that her drunken state helped her in the decision to start coming on to me. I'd be lying if I said not going along with it was easy.

I'm odd when it comes to what I'm rated. I'm always interested to see what I'm rated but I don't really care, if that makes any sense, I'm more interested in the reason behind it. Most people don't have much of one. Most people come across a profile and just rate it a 10. Anymore I rate most profiles a 10 but there are the occasional 9-7 and if I think somebody has their head up their ass or they piss me off they'll get a 5 or lower. When a person rates me lower than a 9 I go to their profile to see if they list their rating standards, if they're not listed sometimes I'll message and sometimes I won't, depends on how interested I am in their decision at that moment. In the end I don't really care though, I've given a 10 to somebody who gave me a 1. Oddly enough a low rate amuses me, I don't know why so don't ask. My thing is, if they gave me a low rate they probably have a reason and I wonder what it is. Do they dislike me for some reason? Did my profile not meet a standard they set? Or are they like those people who go around giving low rates just because it amuses them? It's a little funny that the people who rate me low tend to spark my interest more than those who rate me high, unless the high rater leaves a comment that catches my eye or something.

If you're reading this I suppose you're wondering why I'm rambling about something that doesn't really matter that much to me. The answer is simple, I was given a low rate and for some reason it entertained my thoughts for a bit.

The new FullMetal Alchemist is good but it's not what it is said to be. They were supposed to be following the manga and they are but not wholly. One of the differences between the original anime and the manga was that the manga has a darker tone to it which the new anime has pulled off. I know that they intend to follow the over-all plot with this new one whereas in the original anime they seriously deviated, the only differences between the new anime and the manga are so far, and should remain, minor.

You know what the saddest thing about me being where I am right now in my life is? For a while I was a bonafied fuckin' genius, or so the tests said. I actually had the IQ of a genius. All through school I scored no lower than the 98th percentile on aptitude tests on a national level, that means that all that time no more than 2% of the nation did as well as or better than me. There were even a couple times that I scored in the 99th percentile, you can't score higher than that. I was testing at a college level before middle school. Look at me now, I bet my IQ isn't that hight anymore. For one thing, you use it or lose it. Even though most people don't know it, the younger you are the less you have to know to get a high IQ score, that means you have to increase your knowledge as you age or your IQ drops and if you lose any knowledge it drops faster. Sad, so sad. Where could I be right now if I had been more stable? Where could I be right now if I had applied myself better/harder? For cryin' out loud, the only reason I EVER had trouble in school was because I didn't make an effort, once I learned what we were covering in class I stopped doing anything until we moved on to the next thing, so I did school work 1 day a week at most. Once I switched to a school where I could move at my own pace for my sophomore year I blew through my credits in about a semester and a half. If only I had stayed at the regular high school and just gotten over how easy it was. If only the school had the programs I needed to have the challenge I needed to keep me interested, if we had never moved to southern IA I could have stayed at a school that did.

Speaking from experience, just try to be really sensitive and caring about it. Try to make it as easy for both of you as possible.

Good luck.

Because when you ask someone out the person at risk of getting hurt is you. When you're going to break up with someone, you are hurting someone else. Hurting someone else is so much harder to deal with.

I keep getting awakened by my phone because people are calling Ace Hardware. That leaves me wondering if their number is listed wrong so I open the phone book to check and I find that they're not listed wrong, it just has all the same numbers as my number but in a different order. This is just another proof of people's stupidity because I get one of these miss dials every day... *sighs and shakes head*

I just saw something I can only describe as odd. A married couple was in here and there was nothing unusual about that until I noticed that the husband was wearing the diamond set and the wife one gold ring. With further inspection I discovered that they were both transvestites, one a female as a male and the other a male as a female. I just don't know what to say about that.

That's weird. My bad knee just suddenly started aching, it's that dull obnoxious ache that I get sometimes but usually only when I've been standing on it too long in the cold.

I actually slept today, I just got up a few minutes ago. Now I'm starving but I don't know what I want to eat. *sigh* I need to jump in the shower right now anyway, that'll give me some more time to think about it before I go to the store.

It's interesting, there are two main versions of sleep deprived me. There's the so hyper that I can carry multiple conversations with people to the point that it almost sounds like I'm responding to the statements of each simultaneously while being a loopy air-head me, then you've got the barely lucid but hyper-ultra aware to the point it's almost like a trance and what I say sounds slow and thought out when you can understand it becuse half of what I say makes almost absolutely no sense me. There are of course various sub categories and interminglings there of but those are the main versions.

Noooo! I could almost cry! I was standing there going about my work and suddenly I had one of those lightning strikes of inspiration. A poem suddenly just appeared in my mind so I turn around to write it down... AND I LOST IT! It just vanished from my mind about as fast as it appeared! Do you have any idea how torturous that is? It was a good one too, a little dark and disturbing but definitely good! Ok, deep breaths, deeeeep breaths.

Ok, here's my issue. I eat so much because I'm almost constantly hungry, do you have ANY idea how unbearable that makes eating less? I mean, I can eat enough for about 4 people in one sitting and a few minutes later do it again. Now I'm eating what would be considered reasonable for one person and I feel like I'm starving to death. awe;lfkjdsa;lgf;osdlhlf;aispgd;jh

I'm such an idiot sometimes. I'm sittin' here stressin' out because I'm really hungry even though I've eaten twice since I got up, once around noon and once around 6:30 but the thing I'm not stopping to consider is that was hours ago and both times I had two sandwhiches. I ate reasonably today so it's only reasonable that I'd be hungry right now, which means I wouldn't be eating too much if I made myself some dinner right now. *rolls eyes at self*

Shit, I just discovered a serious flaw in my master plan. I was going to switch computers to download some music from Limewire but that would require me to disconnect this one from the net in order to hook that one up, the problem with that is I'm currently using a virus scanner from Windows Live and that's online. So I guess I'll download Limewire on to this computer, although now that I think about it that would be best anyway since my other computer isn't cooperating with syncing music to my mp3 player. I'm going to run this virus scanner on that comp when this one is done I think.

I'm running Windows Live OneCare scanner on my computer right now. I picked up the Brontok worm virus somewhere, after doing some reading I found out that it spreads by emailing itself by harvesting email addresses from any computer it gets on. Now I'm wondering what email I opened that had it. At least Windows provides a service to catch the bastard, neither AVG nor SpyBot could find it.

I had a strange dream this morning. I was trying to go to Toronto and was at the border, everywhere I went there were military people. My dreamself was aware that there was martial law declared for some reason and that the military was running the show at that point. It wasn't just limited to the U.S. either, for some reason our military was up in Canada too and everybody was nervous about how things were. It was a little creepy. I almost forgot to mention that Buffalo, NY and Toronto had sort of grown together.

When I went to the store earlier they didn't have the soft cheddar I was after, I prefer mild cheddar but all they had were variations of sharp. So instead I got some colby jack from the deli. I also bought a loaf of whole wheat, a package of turkey lunch meat, and a package of chicken. Put those together and bake on foil at 375 for about 10 minutes.... Cheesey poultry sandwhich goodness... Yum.

*sigh* I feel like a prick now. I've been having issues with my relationship with Tina and I've been trying to talk to her about them but I've been doing it in ways that I just don't think I've been getting through. Well tonight she frustrated me and it was all on my mind and I started talking, I didn't soften anything this time and I stated how I have been feeling. Of course, I hurt her feelings just like I was afraid it would. What am I supposed to do? We can't have a relationship like this but I really don't want to hurt her. *bangs head against the wall*

Walking by somebody and asking how they are is not an acceptable passing greeting. If you ask someone how they are you should be genuine, and possibly prepared for a conversation. 'How are you?' or similar questions do NOT mean 'hi' nor 'hello' and really shouldn't be used in place of them, I feel it's really rude. Doing that is like asking and then immediately saying 'not that I really care'. When I ask somebody I'm doing so with the intention of listening to them tell me how they are or whatever.

What's with one-sided conversations? They bug me but I'm so used to them that when I get talking I just talk and if the other person wants to say something they can but whatever. I'm sad to say it but it's a pleasant surprise when somebody interjects an interesting or relevant comment and can carry a dialogue with me, part of that is because I can be hard to follow sometimes. Tina's the type who'll just let me ramble and I hate that because jeez can I ramble, she says she likes listening to me but if I'm talking like that I want some response. I miss good conversation but I'm not very good at initiating it, some of that is because half of what I say when talking with others is smart ass commentary. *sigh*

I think it's sad that I consider little bits of conversation here and there on VR and occasionally letting out a smart ass comment in the Box to be an acceptable minimum of social interaction. I mean, I'm not really content with just that but... I don't know and if I did than I probalby wouldn't need to worry about it.
