I hope this other stimulus comes through. I could use it for my huge medical bills. I keep ducking the phone calls. I don't have the answers for our health care system in this country- but I wish it were better.
I'm going to try and visit my niece every couple months and help out around the house. She's having her 3rd child, and they have lots of pets. I can help clean house, walk the dogs, and keep the other two kids busy. I want to be a part of their lives as much as possible and it's hard being in a different state. This is my 10 year old grandniece and I last week:
This is a good one of you two:) I do love her seashell necklace! Back home we make tons of those and puka shells kind too 💖
My tattoo is healing nicely. My nephew-in-law uses the second skin over it when he's done, instead of saran wrap like the old days. You replace it the next day (wash and put another on it), then keep it on for 4 more days. This is my 18th tattoo- but the last one I got was 20 years ago. This second skin method has me skipping the scabbing phase. I took it off and now it's just the peeling window. It looks great and I can't wait until it's fully healed. I'll post another pic then. It's nice and vibrant.
I spent 5 days with my niece in FL. Had a really good time hanging out and playing with her pets, her two kids- and my sister was also there. My nephew-in-law hooked me up with a tattoo. He owns Class Ink (https://www.classic-ink.com/) in Bradenton, FL. It's a combo comic book store and tattoo shop. They also do piercings, laser removal, and permanent make-up there. So if you are interested check them out :) When there isn't a pandemic- they travel the world at Comic Con conventions doing tattoos- and have also been the tattooist at the Walker Stalker conventions and cruises.
Anyhow. I have always been a huge fan of the Kitsune. In Japanese it's pronounced kit-soo-neh. I lived there for 2 years, it'll always been a home to me, and I had some of my most memorable experiences in my life there. That's why I created The Coven of Inari here 15 years ago. Kitsune guard Inari shrines in Japan. Kitsune means fox in Japanese- but their Kitsune have 9 tails and are shapeshifters, tricksters, and loyal guards.
The coven was solely my idea, but we used my husband's profile to set it up. He never really logged in here, and after many years he just let me have the profile and stopped coming to VR altogether. I changed the username on the profile to SireKitsune, and took the coven over. I haven't really been able to get it off the ground, but we are working on that.
Anyhow.... As a spirit animal, the fox symbolizes problem solving, getting around obstacles, awareness, and discernment. When my old friend from Japan came back into my life in April and I learned he almost died in Afghanistan, he inspired me to tackle my health issues with everything he was doing to get back to 100%. More symbolism... He and I met in Japan, his first name actually means fox, nail tails- he was shot 9 times, and I chose the colors green and blue because he was wounded in a "Green on Blue" attack (google if you need to learn what that is). The tattoo is facing me on my left inside forearm, because it IS for ME. When I look at it, it will remind me there's nothing I can't do. Keep charging on, tackle what needs to be tackled, maneuver like a champ, be agile, make things happen. His rehabilitation and support for my transformation made me face a PTSD issue after over 20 years. It was hard, but I did it. When I look at this tattoo- I will always remember that: I CAN.
The art is based on a Kitsune ring I have...
In my culture, Kitsune is legendary. Quite honorable. The meaning behind it...priceless:) Mad respect☆
I've used them in different ways to guide and guard me for 26 years :)
I love that! The colors and the style are so cool.
Thanks :) I'm lucky... I got FREE, family discount :D
I’ll get to messages sent to me over the last week tomorrow- I’ve been out of town.
On Sunday my son turned 21. How wild this is. Time, as they say, has FLOWN. I hate thinking about it that way in terms of how short life is- but I am glad we don't have to worry about age being a factor in entering certain establishments anymore.
Omg. It seems surreal. I can't believe he's 21! Sheesh! And you my friend are ageless:p The older you get, the better looking you are. You have such beautiful skin:) So not fair:p
C is 21 eh? Did you get him a key?
An entire world and opportunities ahead of him, shame it happens to be during this current era. Still, history shows that dark times don't last, time eventually allows light to shine through and hope to spring anew.
In the meantime, alcohol may help....
a son of 21, you're fortunate.
