I'm really happy about the images I captured at the Sanders rally in Buffalo.



The publication was thrilled with them as well. Said they would absolutely invite me back to cover events for them.



Yes!



Fashion show said the same. Did a great job, the images are excellent.



Yes!



Got my next opportunity lined up for May in Rochester. Just need to close it.

I covered the Barry Sanders rally in Buffalo today for a minority community independent publication. Got great shots nestled between ABC national and CNN's news crews.



Heh.

I have two days to build and print a program for Saturday's show. I completed the cover so far. 1% done.



I have to cover Bernie Sanders speaking at UB tomorrow evening after work, for an independent media outlet. So there goes that time.



I finished the photos from the fashion show - at least, what I was responsible for regarding the organization that hired me, so that's behind me.



I still need to write up a non-compete for the photographer covering an event for me on Saturday, plus preparing him for that.



And of course, the show Saturday will require a ton of attention. Just got the welcome signage to the printer - no idea what that is going to cost us yet, but hopefully not a ton.

Hired to shoot a promotional event for Macy's on Saturday. I didn't have anything going on anyway, and the weather is supposed to be winter-like again.



So, money.



Between that and the two events next weekend, it's getting to be some serious coin. I'm so happy I made the move to upgrade everything over the past two months. Now, it can pay for itself.



Still, little things... like I have a new light kit coming in today to replace the one that burned up on a shoot in December, so that's unexpected (mostly) money going out. Had to buy a printer for one job so I can print photos for event goers - considered into the over-all expenses. All the supplies cost even more.



Back in business?

Crazy amounts of photography yesterday and tomorrow.



My April is booking up quickly. Fun stuff, too. Yesterday I did headshots and a few creative images with an amazing dancer, then photographed an aerial dance performance.



Tomorrow it is an event at... Olive Garden? Whatever. They want to show off their new "home style" recipes.



I guess microwave ovens have been around long enough to be considered home style....



But it should be fun, nonetheless.

She came home on Monday night.



I didn't get to see her until Tuesday night at 11:15PM....



She is exhausted. Fatigued. Sick again.



We need time to ourselves. She needs time to heal. I need time to help her heal. I can't do that when she packs her days full of activity....



...I won't get to see her tonight.



Friday, dinner - then she's off with friends - then she'll be back here to sleep.



Saturday, up early for a day packed with things to do.



Sunday, dance rehearsal and show rehearsal.



Monday it starts all over again.



Ugh!



I'm going to the gym....
