Where I live it is legal and many use it for medical reasons. I truly do not understand how a plant Mother Earth gave us that helps and literally hundreds of illness with the ONLY side effect is you might raid your frig at 3am can be illegal in a lot of places. I watched a CNN doc and this little girl had like 300 seizures a day. She had to wear a helmet. She could not go to school. After two weeks being on the gummy bears candies all her seizures stopped and she was able to go to school like a normal little girl. Oh, and her parents had to move to a state where it was legal. That is just unreal.
@Dakotah....IKR?! Most people know by now that it comes down to Big Pharmaceuticals and Big Tobacco that lobby with all their money and influence to keep it illegal. However, the demand for this Natural Medicine is slowly winning.
The Sweat Lodge Ceremony is central to most Native American cultures and spiritual life.
The Sweat Lodge is a place of spiritual refuge and mental and physical healing, a place to get answers and guidance by asking one's Spiritual Entities, Ancestors, the Spirit of The Universe, and Mother Nature/Earth for the needed wisdom and power one seeks.
Seeing that I do not have access to a Sweat Lodge, I purchased an In-Home Sauna as a substitute.
At midnight, 4/20, I will utilize my Sauna for Ceremony.
Prior to entering the Sauna, I will ring the bell 5 times honoring the 4 Elements & Spirit and signify the start of my ceremony.
I will also smudge with sage to cleanse myself.
Naked I will enter the Sauna.
I will partake of the Sacred Weed known as Cannabis as well as other names. Cannabis is said to be the path to enlightenment.
I will play the Ceremonial Drum while meditating to open my 3rd Eye. It is said to be a source of enlightenment, a culmination of meditation and becoming “one with the universe”. To seek insight beyond normal sight.
