Needed To Vent

I hope no one minds but I'm only putting this

here to hopefully clear my head a little.

I have recently found out something that for lack

of better words is just morally fucked up

no matter which way shape or form you look at it.

A child is someone that no matter what when it

comes to their feeling should never be neglected,

taken for granted or mistreated. I'm having a

really hard time understanding the motives of

some parents any more, well more to be a little

more precise just one parent that I know of in

particular. This person that I know of which

I will call Ned for the time being has have to

have something mentally off about him.

Before I go any further. I will let you know

before I get into this, I'm trying to talk shit about this person for the fun of it.. This has done or had

something happen that has made it where he is legally not allowed children age 17 and under..

Trust me that part needed to be said. Ned and his

I.Q. that would make horse shit look intelligent

recently has to decided to have have a summons

sent to his separated wife over the matter of

wanting being able to have joint custody, bi-weekly visitations and be able to take their son out of

state for one month during the summer.

He's says he's doing cause he loves his son.

Well, If that was the true case in hand. Then why

would anyone being a caring father say something

that would psychologically mess with a child's head?

I mean I would never dream of telling my son that

I never want to be his friend, that I was going

to move further away so I wouldn't have to be and then within a couple of day tell him that I was coming down to visit him, that I was going to take

him away from his mother. How can anyone say something like that and think that they're mentally

capable or mature enough to take a child after only

making an effort of seeing the child twice within a little over six years. "The child only saw his father

during the first visit, not during the second and that was by his own choice. The child is now 7 years old" Is it just me or does anyone else see anything wrong with this picture? I feel bad for this child, it seems now that every time this child speaks to his father, he wakes up a couple of times in the middle of the night cause of nightmares due something that his father said to him, he's even had nightmares after just knowing that his father has called. Please don't get me wrong, I honestly believe that a child should be able to have both parents in his or her life but in this

case how would it morally be right to have his father in his life? This douch bag has said to this child's mother at one point that if he couldn't be with her he might as well kill himself and he didn't even care that his own son heard him say it. I honestly believe that the only way this scenario would end in a positive way is if after the court date is over he his thrown in jail for trying to be around a child when he's legally not allowed around any child, but that's just my opinion. Does anyone think that I'm wrong for thinking this way?

I don't think there is a right or wrong in this matter.

As a father who does not have his own daughter living with him I can only view my own opinion.

Here's the thing thou ... you are sounding very subjective in this matter and maybe rightly so as it's hard to stay objective.

Parents at times do use their children as 'ammo' in the fight to get even for a slight that they feel has been the fault of others, I can't condone this but I will add that at the end of the day it's the childs welfare that needs to be addressed and as they grow up so quickly they will work out just who was/is right or wrong!
