I suppose I really should fill this in, but what to say? I am not one given to talking about myself and trying to come up with clever descriptions is ridiculuous nevertheless I will attempt to describe myself. Who am I? I was born many years ago in Inglewood, California. I mourned President John F. Kennedy -- asassinated. I have seen a man land on the moon, the invasion of the Beatles, participated in the hippie movement, could not believe that Martin Luther King was killed, watched Robert Kennedy give his acceptance speech after winning the primary in California, leave the podium, start the walk through the kitchen when shots rang out. I watched soberly as each of these great people were laid to rest and mourned the fate of our nation. Ahhh How would our nation be shaped if this men had lived? I watched with horror Kent State and debated the Vietnam war.

What do I do? I work. Yeah not actually a terrific job but I enjoy it for the most part. Off hours I like to ride my tricycle, sew, crochet, watch basketball (GO LAKERS!!!), walk, ride buses and trains. I also read.

I am not a crowd person per se. I do not recharge my internal batteries being with people, instead I charge up when I am alone. I enjoy nature and love love love animals. My dreams is to own a no kill shelter. Wouldn't that be a hoot.

I am pretty run down the middle of the road with politics, I would like to see a balance (if that is possible) between conservative responsibility and liberal socialism. My priorities shifted about two years ago. Serenity and enjoying the simple pleasures of life such as waking in the morning to birds singing or ahhhing a spectacular moon is fulfilling for me.
