I pass through the field in the dark, the crunch of shattered glass beneath my feet the only sound. The edge of the moon peeks out from behind a shelf of blood-tinged cloud and I have no choice but to run, to hide in the shadows. A second passes, maybe two, and the moon sheds its gauzy veil, its light reflecting off the broken glass in a thousand jagged gleams. There is no escape for me tonight.

Inspired by the immense number of incubi and succubi on the Rave, I dedicate the following:

Being an Incubus or Succubus isn’t just about the sex. It’s not about being super-hot, or multi-orgasmic, perhaps a nimble fellatrix with the patience of a saint, and maybe just plain nasty. No, and long fingers and stem tying tongues are not what it’s all about, either.

What was I saying?

There is a higher plane where joy and passion, connection and spirituality collide. Imagine combining that sexual experience with ritual, and some sort of grog.

The sex would become entangled with The Divine.
