Have you ever felt that feeling as you walk up the stair
Here you dwell I would not dare
There's something in the darkness giving me this scare
On the back of my neck I feel bristling hair

In my dreams it's form is back
This feeling lurks in black
It is reason that I lack
I fear that on my spine it'll snack

Its form is beginning to take shape
As sharp as the dagger held to my nape
Such terror leaves jaws agape
Only to be sealed shut with tape

Blood flows freely across my skin
This darkness is only waiting to begin
With his slices he feels no sin
He has no care, not even for his kin

I am a sociopath
You have just witnessed my work, my wrath
Plus me, minus them, the Devil's math
What has brought me down this path?

The body falls in pieces to the floor, the useless filler
His death to me was just a fleeting thriller
Compared to my eyes there are none chiller
This is the work of a serial killer.

I hear your screams
I feel your pain
I see the blood run from your veins

With eyes agleam
I brand my knife
And slowly take away your life

There is no cure
For my disease
I love too much what my eyes see

In my mind
I set you free
I will follow what I believe

I watch the light
Pass from your eye
As you let away your final sigh

The job is done
Now I can breathe
My demon is finally at ease

Wash warm blood
From shaking hands
And wait for it to awake again.
