I'm a Hybrid (Combo) or Psi/Sang Vampyre. Since an early age I have always felt different. I was the same on the outside as all the others, clothing, attitude and general appearance. However I never really was the same, I had abilities that other did not. I had strange feelings inside, I knew when something bad was going to happen, I knew how people felt inside without even talking to them. I have always been an excellent judge of character and could always tell if someone was trying to hustle me. I felt the need to be around people, to listen in on conversations, to some how get involved in human drama. The more energy I was around the better I felt. Arguments between people were always a high for me, not being part of the argument, but listening to them. The same went for people involved in romantic encounters. I would feel good while watching a couple kiss or hold hands or even fondle one another. I had other symptoms, I hated the sun lite, it made me irritable, sunburns were always a problem considering I am very pale.
Later as an adult when my sex life began, I found I had a fetish for sucking on the necks of my girlfriends, leaving huge bruises. I never actually tried to ingest actual blood, but I loved the taste of sucking on the neck of a woman. When I saw a pretty woman and was turned on, I thought about pulling her hair and kissing and sucking on her body. I found that sensuality went hand in hand with my cravings.
Recently after identifying myself, I'm learning to control my psychic energy. I have been focusing and being more aware of the things around me. I don't know anyone else that is like me. After turning here I found there are more of us then I thought which makes me happy. I turned here to VR for friendship and education.

I should also really tell you about my BDSM involvement. Since I was about 17, I have always found comfort and security in the BDSM world. The open minded people, the awesome ENERGY that bdsm people have and teh passion they expel during play and in their relationships is tremendous . I find that BDSM for me is a way of life. If I had to label myself it would have to be "switch". Now let me explain why; I feel very Dominant to some people, where I can be sadistic, sensual and extremely seductive. However I can also melt and drop to my knees when I'm face to face with a Dominant who can hold her power over me. I feel as if I can relinquish all control to her, I fall into a daze, a submissive daze. For me its the ultimate high, lots of energy, both physically and mentally. I eat it up !!!!!!! Feel good for weeks after a good scene.
A friend of mine had written a great description of how she defines a modern vampire and herself. I believe this to be true and describe me to a T. SO here is what she wrote and how I feel.

I will get sick and tired without someone's energy. Just like a mundane has the right to live life without being tired and sick all the time, so do I.
What is a mundane? A nice way to define a mundane is a human that does not require the energy of another to have a balanced life. In a blunt and honest way, they are food. Yep I said it. FOOD. Just like the mundane does not feel sorry for the cow when they order a Big Mac, I don't feel sorry for them. Now having said that I do not force myself on anyone. When I feed from a mundane's blood, I have their consent. However psychic energy is invisible to most mundanes. They do not even know its being taken half the time. In that circumstance, I do not ask permission for the lion does not ask the deer for permission before eating the deer. WARNING: I can and do feed over the internet.
