My name is Jay, like the brightly coloured corvid. I have been drawn to the darker aspects of life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a house of witchcraft, I have a natural fascination with the macabre and the occult, and have been practising witchcraft and paganism on and off for over a decade.
I am a writer and artist, writing prose, usually in the fantasy genre, and the rare piece of poetry. I oil paint and sketch, and I like to use my 1950s Royal Royalite typewriter to write out my thoughts.
My favourite bands are Linkin Park, Slipknot, Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death, Type O Negative, Avenged Sevenfold, Brothers of Metal, and Ghost. My favourite book is Swan Song by Robert McCammon.
