in this bitter sweet life one is left to wonder
through trials and suffering,judgement and hatred
despised for every fiber of ones being
left to be cursed and rewarded with nothing
a ghost of my own reflection
tangeled within a web of lies
addicted to hurt,
but out to rest in the eternal silence

I can't close my eyes
I'm swallowed by pain
as i slowly fall apart
spinning further, deeper
while my soul hollows and cries,

i'm lost among a nightmare
where bad dreams are made real
left behind, condemed for how i feel
fading away with every glimpse
i'm surrounded by sin,
the darkness reaches my soul
beginning with the ember that glows within

angelic wings, cased in black
shimmering with the silver moon,
dropped from the sky, cursed to breathe
searing the flesh scars that are left to be seen
nothing left but the lies i lead
left alone to wonder till the end is near,
wrath in this angels body
tormented to be a slave
embraced in the freedom when the night closes my eyes I die again

new scars carved in my skin
empty threads of my heart
a ghost of what i once was
twisted in lies, tangled in webs
lost and alone

found by the dark
warm within his embrace
the dark engulfing the light inside of me
feeling a haunting to be wanted
no pain left, no feeling
nothin but crimson wings to keep me safe

in this placeof darkness
there is no pian
lost in this nothingness time and again
searchin for the light to this bitter end
lost within a world surrounded by night
walking the roads of hell
tortured to be alone
accompanied by demons
that drag me down
with only darkened wings to protect me
never to leave

engulfed in the flames
washed away in the sea of death
bathed innthe glory of eternal damnation
nothing left but markings on the walls
drowning the angels in the blood of the innocent
pure wings stained with a crimson glow
of those who abondened thier hope long ago
lost in this of misery and sorrow
longing for the comfort of night
when fatith and the world fade
as we follow mere shadows of ourselves
lost, gone, forgotten

Take me away to a place of pain
a life of sorrow and misery
left in an abyss of joy and happiness
never to be free
shown into the light
and shunned from the dark
left to be alone
hollowed in this body
from which has no soul
burned by the rays of the good in this world
and healed by the tortured
forsaken by the rightous
damned by the almighty
lost among the fallen, writh in agony
embraced in the arms of the unholy
and cherished among the dead
i walk this road of lonliness
down darkened paths i tread
the embrace of the shadows
it takes me far away
tattered wings keep mr safe
from all the spitefull eyes
and these dark wings they hold me tight
from all that i despise
