Even India too there is the tale of vampyres from unknown past...

When the Good side forces were on the verge of defeat and the fear of complete elimination, The Goddess Shakti turned into Goddess Kali to eliminate all bad side forces. Goddess Kali is the Vampyre form of Goddess which suck all blood, Aura and Prana of evil forces... this way She eliminited total demon forces of evil side. even after elimination of the Total Evil Side Forces, she could not contain self could not calm self and even She was about to go on total destruction coz Mother Shakti/ Goddess Kali is the Cosmic Force of entire cosmos, that time God Shiva had to calm her to place himself sacrificing to calm her anger. Mother Kali calmed that moment immediately coz She is wife of Lord Shiva (God Shiva) They are the God Goddess of both sides dark side as well as light side.

In myth and every lure it is said in India that after every big battle of mass soldiers killed, the vampyres used to feast on those dead's fresh blood.
