Something I have been thinking about since 1997.
What if conventional science has it all wrong?
What if powerful thought really can lead to Global Disasters?
Today I read two articles that grabbed my attention.
1. The chance of a serious earthquake in Tokyo ( ac City of 40 million) is now at 75% in the next 4 years.
2. A huge fresh water Baloon has raised the Sea by the Arctic by 15cm over 4000 miles by $ 000 miles...its trajectory is Greenland.
It will cause a major Gulf stream problem with massive storms.
What if the corruption and wars, the unemployment and despair of a million minds are causing this?
Can a few gifted minds prevent the thoughts of the masses?
Oh , we have discussed this...it's just a coincidence.
Apparently...

Actions have always spoken far louder than words...and far more loudly by far than thoughts. It was by actions that the worldwide economic collapse of 2008 occurred...not thoughts.
Quite right Upir, quite right...Some bad News, Websites like facebook and now even Google are selling on personal information without permission. Even Facebook have employed Neustar etc to track IP addresses and record every webpage one visits. Google have launched a similar policy today...
People I know are VERY VERY angry, this is very deceitful, dishonest and I am sure their will devine retribution...if my science theory is correct.
As a private person I believe in the right to a private life so I am deleting until the High Court rule this as illegal. I will miss you strange folks. Farewell. The Contessa ..falls on her sword in protest and hopes she is wrong about the holistic New Science.
Remember Satan was actually the good guy and I am guessing he is none too impressed.

Nothing is just a coincidence. Esp more solar radiation keeps seeping through but yet people don't want to believe its our fault for all the massive waist we release into the environment. Don't forget about all the tress we need for oxygen that we destroy at a rate that it will cause us problems esp with our ever increasing population. You ever see space balls when the planet space balls is almost out of air and they have to get there air from a can? LOL. God I love that movie unfortunately as crazy as it is; who's to say it couldn't be a prophetic movie? That is a scary thought
I personally think it is thought along with action. The thought initiates the actions of people once enough people come together with the same idea. You can see that just with the OCCUPY protest. If you have a metaphysical bent then thoughtforms are created by people and take on a life of their own. Enough people create gods. Unfortunately we are doing a lot of things contrary to our thoughts. These are the ones I see expressed in news articles. I see people with very convoluted ideas and wonder where they come from. Skepticism is a problem with people not believing the facts once they have been shown to the masses. The conspiracists come out of the woodwork. Look at what happened when a lot of people had the same ideas (thoughts) and spoke out enmasse against the censorship of the internet in the US. It stopped it, at least for the time being. I believe it starts with thought and then that creates action if enough people are on the same page.
No, I don't believe thoughts could do that; unless people are unconsciously forcing about the destruction of the earth-no. There are alot of occut volumes written on the power of the mind and it isn't an unconscious thing. If we were all conscious on ending the world with our thoughts then yes, it might work. But, I'm sure most people want the world to continue.
People believe they are right and can predict the future/weather/life blah blah, but in all reality they just have no idea of what Mother Earth can do. She could whipe us out if she wanted it, scientists do not know anything, mere evolution (AKA Mother earth once again) has given us the ability the grow and evolve, it was merely the human mind that corrupted itself and others and led them to think everything can be scientifically explained. Look at the dilemma in California; skin-eating diseases.. Can they explain where that came from? Maybe so, but it is still.. Unexplainable. Can they explain why it happened? No.
Oh please spare me.
I could sit here all day long every day and wish with every freaking brain cell I have for a new convertible... and it wont show up. And if I added X number of people to that... its not going to show up.
This is the same concept as prayer.
Reading about two things might help to find your own responses to your questions:
- Shambalah (buddhist monks are praying in every second for equilibrium of the earth and universe)
- telekinesis
In my opinion mind can affect matter only through a material thing. Directly it has a very little impact.
Try concentrate your mind to move a little piece of paper.
Maybe if you will try every day after a few years it might work and even if that would happen, this demonstrate my theory instead of contradicting it.
IF everyone jumped up and down at once, then the earth might move. That's very real.
And IF your theory were right and minds worked in unison... well, who knows??
Even so, the idea of man working in concert, to affect something global is nonsense...
unless we can see profit, we just don't work togther: so even if the theory is valid, for that reason alone... it just wouldn't happen, rather than couldn't...
Effecting change through the use of sheer will.... yes I think it's possible with powerful well trained aware minds... lots of them but alas the majority of the inhabitants of this planet have degenerated into a gaggle of "practical" monkies that don't even dare to imagine anything greater.

It is very possible. It's hard to tell what powers and capabilities other people have. There are people out there that are just downright evil.
It's called nature, omg!
The billions of evil non-existent humans didn't cause the end of every other ice age in history. Do you not realize we are STILL coming *out* of an (singular of many) ice age? That means melting ice and retreating glaciers.
Do you not realize the Earth isn't this cute little ball of dirt and water, that it's actually 90% melted, hot, powerful, explosive stuff and sometimes earthquakes & volcanoes happen....they've been going on for 4+ billion years, why would they stop?
During the age of the dinos the temp and CO2 content was drastically higher than it is now and yet there was no "end of life".
We can't possibly expect to stop the Earth from doing what it's done over the past 4.6 billion years. Nature is change, end of story, nothing remains the same. 99.9% of all species that have ever existed have gone extinct and a vast majority of those did so well before humans ever walked the Earth.
Polar Bears are going to die, sorry. In a few million years there won't be a single human left, sorry.
It's called science people, get used to it.
Btw,
"2. A huge fresh water Baloon has raised the Sea by the Arctic by 15cm over 4000 miles by $ 000 miles...its trajectory is Greenland." makes zero sense.
What you read was that a freshwater BULGE was detected in the Arctic Ocean and the BULGE has rises (like a blob under the surface) by 15 CM..it didn't raise sea levels 15cm.
Fresh and salt water bulges are common. The ocean isn't a united homogeneous mass of water. It has layers, streams, different densities, different amounts of salinities, giant gyers, oceans within oceans of freshwater, saltier water, frozen methane, oil (from natural sources) etc.
The ocean's height also varies naturally depending on area and local heights can be drastically different. Did you know that during a hurricane the local sea level can be meters higher than outside the storm? Or that the Atlantic Ocean is a different height than the Pacific?
I just implore people to read up on science and the normal, natural world before jumping to some radical conclusion. Even the BBC article itself says the bulge is a natural occurrence, "The team thinks it may be the result of strong winds whipping up a great clockwise current in the northern polar region called the Beaufort Gyre."
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-16657122
Could it cause something bad? Maybe, probably not. The Russian Traps which happened millions of years ago caused far more damage to the Earth than anything we've seen in the last many thousands of years. Again, NATURAL.
The doom sayers can't help themselves Xavier, the qrack pot self titled people feed them so much jargon that they sop it up like gravy. I never got the whole lets fixtate on "The end times".
Whoa wait a second... Let me get this all straight before i can begin to answer. *sighs and hangs head* Geez...
If a persons thoughts could cause major disasters then i believe the world would be no longer in existence from all the times i have wished it so.
There are things that happen that we have no control over and the sooner we can get used to that idea the better off we are. The ice age, animal extinction and such is bound to happen regardless of what we do.
There is so much more I could say but I believe that Xzavier beat me to it :)
I seriously doubt man could do anything of that nature.
As far as the earth it has been going through it's cycles for eons , the only difference is that now there are too many people in the way of whatever comes to pass. There is just too many people in general. So disasters seem bigger.
Funny, I was thinking about this..must be coincidence.
Perhaps it's safe to go back in the water now privacy is restored ? Commen sense really, a judges signature and probable cause have always been necessary to spy and sneak around in peoples mail etc.
I am going to watch this "Policy" closely, I will not live in 1984, and those of you who are willing to surrender freewill, liberty, privacy etc are not American...retracts her claws, eyes dim.

Xzav, apologies, distracted by the snoopers etc.
Yes, I do know what you speak of, the layers, the history, the earth being a dynamic fusion ball of energy.Today a new study reveals how evidence is mounting for "lava lamp earth" the theory that magma rises and falls every 60 million years causing chaos.
Waves and frequencies interacting, in different spectrums, sometimes forming nodes.
There is a scientific principle in forensic science, when two objects touch, however small, they will leave a trace.
Living things interact and touch all the time, can it be that thought it self has frequencies, perhaps they also touch?
For instance, your thoughts touch your keyboard, through the water in your veins. Your keyboard contacts electrical circuits, that touch other waves in the internet ether. That are delivered to my electrical circuits, that touch my processor, that produces symbols of light. Photons that are both waves and particles that enter my eyes.
So a complex net is formed. With such theta wave thoughts magnifying through the atmosphere, who is to say the "butterfly effect" cannot alter the weather and for that matter the ocean currents?
Because there is no evidence your thoughts leave through your finger tips and because the amount of energy produced by a million minds thinking is still less than the energy held within a single, basic, thunderstorm (which happens to be more energy than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima).
Each time energy contacts matter the bulk energy is diminished. For every atom it moves through a tiny bit gets left behind. For example, a radio message sent from Earth through empty space becomes unreadable after several light years.
There are more humans on Earth therefore more are affected when disasters occur. It doesn't mean the negative thoughts of mankind are causing them nor does it mean the number of disasters are increasing.
An earthquake is a product of nature (they happen on the Moon, Mars, Venus and even the Sun) and a financial collapse has nothing to do with the negative thoughts of a society and everything to do with the bad intentional actions of a few who failed or ignored to look at possible repercussions.
Yet leading geologists that calculated the pressure that caused the Fukashima earthquake state it was no more than that of a footprint upon the fault.
As I stated, the " butterfly effect ".
Hit a diamond in the correct place and it will split, yet the same diamond can take the weight of a mountain. Yes, its is all theory but it remains neither proven nor disproved.
In science there are 2 ways of finding out if something is likely to be true or not -- Something may be possible but is it plausible?
Which is more likely, that an earthquake occurred (one that was expected) in an area that undergoes 1000's of quakes a year and has for millions of years as a result of normal geologic processes OR that the depression of a few people sent the earth rocking?
Is it possible, yes, probable, not really.
Clinging to mysticism or unproven theories based upon circumstantial evidence, pseudoscience and personal opinion isn't the way to legitimize an idea or give it any real proof.
If something was different about this quake that could point us to look for "new science" (which btw isn't possible, science is a specific tool period) then perhaps. But there was nothing special about it, just powerful.
You want proof, get a group of friends together and change something with your thoughts. Anything that can be a real force, affecting things more than once, can be observed and reproduced. Otherwise it's just crack theory worth little...thought.
I must admit the odds are in favour of the natural fault, or perhaps there is something hiding in the cracks?
Just enough to make everyone nervous, you know like hurricanes, tornado's, earth quakes, the spike cracking, that was 2011, right.
When our leaders goto bed and their beds shift in the night, do you think they get nervous...oh they do.
If only " I,m a dinnerjacket " could feel the heat, that would be a good thing, might make him think twice.
He better think twice, that country is as unstable as its people.
Coincidentally, there was something unusual about that quake and a few others..
A bright light witnessed in the sky just prior to the quake (angel or deamon? ), your science chaps are having trouble with that one as well.... Hey, don't shoot the messenger.
I think that is what is called being hoist on ones own petard? but I,d have to look it up being a manic depressive illiterate n all. ; )
So because a basic light was seen that means science has been tossed upon it's head? I don't think so.
They're called earthquake lights and have been seen for many, many years and finally photographed in 1965.
You do realize science is a tool, not the entire compendium of all possible knowledge right? It's how we answer questions.
The lights could be caused by piezoelectricity or an autokinetic effect.
I'll never understand you people who demand the "moon goddess" must be real simply because scientists have yet to answer a specific question.
Who mentioned her ? not me.
I think its alien terraforming, long lived Aliens, based on other species I estimate they live 2-3000 years and are prodding us in the right direction.
As for science, may I refer you to the cross-over thread on whether Gods are being pushed out by science.
The truth is scientists are just as bad as the religious zealots...
for scientists their science has become a belief system, for them it is their own particular brand of "religion"
When people start pointing out facts that do not fit they get very defensive and even offended ? as if their neurons are doing a Robby the Robot, misfire...
Here are a few facts they hate.
1. Neutrino's went faster than light ( they are checking the switches etc..)
2. A small boy lifted a car off his grandfather last week.
3. Eyes can emit light/ wavelengths.
4. Brains have fields they do not understand.
5. people can predict when a friend will call them on the phone.
6 .Animals sense their masters in an air tight room.
7. Vampires.
8 . Aliens deactivated the Nukes and Boeing can't figure out how. ( they built the circuits)
9. How did the Egyptians do that?
10. More weird coincidences than they can shake a stick at.
The real question is not if but why? maybe we are prepping the planet for invasion ...they, being smart, want the hard work done, roads infrastructure.
Or my favourite...all humans (aged 6 up) are now playing COD "modern warfare" coz they are building an army so we can all be shipped off to some distant quadrant to fight a war for them. I mean, why use higher beings when there is a bunch of short lived monkies to hand...expendable monkies are handy...we do the same on Earth but on a smaller scale, recruiting from low class areas like the Bronx, Tacoma, Scotland, (the Ghurka's) rather than Boston or Bellevue or London.
Way to lump literally millions of scientists together. You don't have a clue what you're talking and are basing arguments on your own desires, prejudices and pseudoscience. I'm done "debating" with a wall.
I'm sorry I can't stand this. People who act or attempt to speak with authority and have no understanding of the most fundamental aspects of the physical world really tick me off because you do nothing but confuse people and spread mis-information.
1. Neutrino's went faster than light ( they are checking the switches etc..)
-- Neutrinos did not go faster than light, it was a faulty wiring. http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/engineering/extreme-machines/not-so-fast-neutrinos-6863900?click=pm_latest
2. A small boy lifted a car off his grandfather last week.
-- Stories like this pop up all the time. Some real, others fake. Adrenaline and other things can give a person "superhuman" strength for brief periods of time. It's been shown time and time again. Biology 101.
3. Eyes can emit light/ wavelengths.
--EVERY lifeform emits light. They've even taken pictures of the light given off humans. Light is simply a form of radiation. Radiation is a process in which energetic particles or waves travel through a medium or space. Xrays ARE light, red, white & blue ARE light, Gamma rays ARE light. And light IS radiation. Again, physics 101.
4. Brains have fields they do not understand.
-- So because they don't fully understand something that means it's proof for the mystical? Logical fallacy on aisle 1. The brain is the most complex structure in the known universe and has only been studied in detail for a few decades. You might want to look at the mountains of information we *do* know.
5. people can predict when a friend will call them on the phone.
-- So what? There is nothing in science that says things like ESP are impossible. Some scientists say it can't happen because there haven't been any legit experiments with solid, reproducible results that have been peer reviewed.
6 .Animals sense their masters in an air tight room.
-- Energy doesn't need air to pass through something. An air-tight room only means it couldn't smell the person. It could still hear them.
7. Vampires.
--You have proof of actual blood sucking, immortal vampires? Show me.
8 . Aliens deactivated the Nukes and Boeing can't figure out how. ( they built the circuits)
--Aliens, really? Got proof or speculation? An airplane has hundreds of mile of wiring in it and something as simple as a static spark can cause it to crash. A $50 GPS jammer can block the navigation for a major airport. A nuclear weapon contains multiple technological platforms from the trigger device to gps, laser guidance, gyros, communication devices etc. Point being, shit happens.
9. How did the Egyptians do that?
-- Do what? Dr. Zahi Hawass, former Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs in Egypt has said many times they could have built the pyramids with less than 50,000 people and using technology that could have existed at the time.
10. More weird coincidences than they can shake a stick at.
-- Weird stuff = aliens. Logic please!
11. The sky is groaning, Greenfire perhaps?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2110523/Whats-causing-mysterious-sounds-coming-sky-loud-set-car-alarms.html
the earth has always had disasters.the mediteranian sea was a valley intill an eathquake opend it to the atlantic.the americans are said to have an earthquake machine called HARRP.use it enough and they will set off eathquakes they did not intend.there is some indication that every so many thousand years the earth goes through a cataclysm.pliny met the priests of heilaplis who said the man raises up civilisations and then they are cast down again.
I think the Green Knight mentioned this.."Green stuff"
http://lightyears.blogs.cnn.com/2012/03/08/radiation-from-solar-storms-begins-to-hit-earth/?hpt=hp_c2
This is another reactive thread. Not everyone believes the same things and not everyone reads in the same area of so-called "science" and most who don't are not aware of all the research in many fields of study that may be called eccentric, exist. Those that people don't agree with get chalked off as pseudoscience. Go back to when men said man couldn't fly and look at us now. The power of thought has been talked about for centuries and like Astrology has been doled over to meaningless diatribe about it. Even the Bible some hold so dear talks about the fact of what thought can do. Those with a metaphysical or magickal bent will understand. Essentially this is theory because it is not of interest to scientists and why? Because they want to make money. They don't want to prove things that they "assume" are loony ideas. For most these are thought of as spiritual ideas and assumed by self-righteous people that there is no room for them in real scientific studies. It is only theory like evolution was only a theory but look what happened to that with scientists who enabled it to be taken as fact. I have read books on all the anamolies. Science is the quest for answers and people should do that in the area of things unknown but they know little about the human mind and last I checked, very little about all of the neurotransmitters. I'm not saying thought can do something exactly in and of itself but with enough people having the same ideas they physically can make change.
As for vampires, I guess that would depend on what you believe them to be. Most of what people spew came from fiction, hysterical peasants, superstition and folklore that was handed down and has changed over time to be unrecognizable in the end. A lot was invented in Hollywood. After all it is a word and over time the meanings change. Now anything that had any contact in any way with blood in mythology has been labeled a vampire by modern culture. Not all in folklore drank blood which makes the whole subject moot to me. They didn't all come out of Eastern Europe but most of the publicized fiction did use that area for their stories even if American in origin like the Subspecies movies. I think the question asked got off to another point of reference that there can be no new science but only the science that people have okd in their minds to be the correct one but then that doesn't exactly answer any of the questions what it did cause was a rant about science in general.
What people think in India and the Middle East about some of these things is very different. You might find this site of interest. Especially those who espouse reincarnation and other philosophies out of that area.
http://www.yoga-age.com/modern/thoughtpower.html
Powerful thoughts can cause physical manifestations.
Occultists use concentrated thought to create
artificial beings called egregores. A poltergeist is
the raw concentrated emotion of a troubled
individual manifesting as movement of physical
objects. Yes your right, we could cause earth changes
mentally.
