I believe everything happens for a reason. Everyone is meant to have a purpose. I'd like to research that myself, that is a very interesting subject. I'm interested in mental disorders and post traumatic stress disorders because I myself have bipolar 1 disorder and I generally know the causatives behind it but I know there's much more than meets the eye.
Back to the serial killers, yes, I believe it could be what they were meant to become. After all, isn't this world full of murder? I can't imagine how the world would function without it. It's always been around. Some people just have certain triggers and personality types that lead them to do it. It's probably certain areas of their brain that are wired differently or the chemicals are imbalanced as with other mental disorders. They could have a disorder that causes them to blackout and they don't even know what they did, such as anyone suffering from MPD. I have a friend that has it and when he gets angry, he forgets what happened because he blacks out.
When we take into account reincarnation, it all starts to make sense.
Say someones family was brutally murdered by a group of criminals.
Now, those criminals killed, so they will get killed back.
In some lifetime.
By the one who karmically has the right...the former victim.
In the stars it will be written, but they do just that..they tell, not decide.
1. “We serial killers are your sons, we are your husbands, we are everywhere. And there will be more of your children dead tomorrow”
2. “You feel the last bit of breath leaving their body. You're looking into their eyes. A person in that situation is God!”
3. “Sometimes I feel like a vampire.”
Quotes by Bundy
Interesting quote, but can not fully agree with it.
We all kill... plants, insects, small animals.
Do we really, when we kill, control the Life,
or do we just shorten a lifespan.
And when it comes to the shortening of a lifespan, some say when we are born the moment of our death is already set...
I dont think taht itz because of stars, and the reasons may differ from person to person like for some it may be due to the strong feeling due to some incident in their earlier part of life, and for some other it may be some psycological disorder and in some other cases it may be a revenge to the human kind and has nothing to do with the stars
To think someone is born without choice is nothing short of stupidity.
These people choose their actions. You listed that they had abuse and that others have had the same abuse and not done this horrible acts. That right there implies they choose to be victim to their past, and thus recreate the victim role in those they abused.
To view it any other way implies that their actions are to be condoned and sympathized with. That is a dangerous thought that leads to a person not having any responsibility for their actions. Our actions are the one thing we have control of, and should take responsibility for.
I completely agree with convex.
I am quite sure I am a would be psycho. The ONLY thing that keeps me from my urge is my choice. Although, if my upbringing had been different (I had an excellent father) if I had not learned to ground and center and things of that nature, I might have lost the struggle. And may still. Grant it, some choices are harder for some make. But I believe it also comes down to will power.
Offspring of alcoholics can still choose to not indulge.
Great point Convex! These killers through their freewill chose to commit murders. That is not to dismiss possible mental disorders, childhood trauma, abuse etc...As these can and most times are factors. But, in the end people choose through the application of force.
most serial killers are white males-nature
most serial killer experience some type of abuse or sexual perversion at puberty-nurture
nature and nurture plus the right opportunity and situation and boom serial killer
why is it not all people with the same nature and nurture situations become serial killers?
same reason not all smart kids become doctors
I would add to the .nature. there must be a very serious antisocial personality disorder, lack of empathy and lack of the usual fear of getting caught and all that comes out of that.
A serial Killer must use every aspect of their mind to know how to do it and to not be caught after the first victim. For that, I don't think that they are crazy or they have a psychological disorder. I think they just love doing it for the trill of the ride.
To have psychological disorder does not mean you are not intelligent, cunning or practical.
But to love attacking with killing motivation (when it comes to own species) for the fun of it is a very obvious sign of a psychological disorder.
or its simply something i love to call my best friend....Evil.
while psychological conditions and poor upbringing can create a killer, there some serial killers who do it just because they are evil and enjoy it immensly, they may have a good life with no reason to kill except that they chose to and enjoyed it. heh, there is a sport and thrill to chasing down someone and then killing them, some like the hunt more than the kill, anyway it does not mean that they ALL have mental problems because by that logic all killers are insane and should be in a hospital and not prison since their actions are not their fault...hell death penality is being seriously misused then.
Insanity is just a common excuse these days, one for criminals to dodge prison and another for weak humans who cannot accept that some people are just evil and so they label them sociopaths or some other condition. Humans really love their labels!
Of course...they are evil.
But that is just a symptom of a psychological disorder.
To feel no empathy, no compassion for the family of the victims is not normal.
It is a sign that something is wrong.
Now...if the people would NOT know they are doing something very bad...THEN they should be in a mental hospital...and in some cases that happens.
Most do understand what do they do is evil though and they do it anyway,
They are like wolfs that turn against own kind in a pack.
They are not normal and they always get punished.
Not normal!? i beg your pardon? you must not have been in this world very long to think that! of course its normal, killing and evil are natural behaviours and has been present in a lot of animals.
You people just love labeling things so you can try and understand them, control them and stop them when it is clearly useless since as long a creature walks upon this earth then evil will always be present.
I again i say if all killers and evil men and women were insane then tell us why? why are they executed if its not their own fault but because of mental defect? Why are they imprisoned when its because they are ill? why not help them and send them all to the mental hospitals so they can get better and atone?
Because the reality is that they are evil and were completely in control of their thoughts and actions, they heard no voices, they saw no images, they were not strangely compelled to kill....they were simply evil not insane.
Yes, some serial killers are nuts but insanity and evil are not always together.
Not normal? that was insulting as hell. its your stupid lawful and corrupt society that thinks of us as freaks and unnatural, not mother nature though which is what matters and not mankind's pathetic law. We do not call moral people insane neither do we arrrest them for good deeds so why bother us by calling us crazy and unnatural.
Moral people go to one shop, we simply shop next door, no need shove damn pills down our thoats.
Psychopaths and other truly insane killers don't kill out of simple choice, they either hear voices, see things or feel strongly compelled to kill. Evil people simply choose to kill...maybe even because there was nothing good on tv.
Mankind will always try to put name to something so they won't be scared anymore, so they can cope with its existence.
Well that was a bit of....ranting, the "not normal" part ticked me right off though as that is akin to racism.
Everthing that isn't contructed and created by mankind is natural. Killing was not invented by the man-animal, near all animals kill, except the herbivores obviously unless you count eating plants as killing since one can say they are alive in a way.
Anyway back to the topic at hand: No there is no destiny or fate, otherwise there would be no free will and as an agent of chaos i will not accept that. A troubled background can only add influence to a person and even then that person could be completely unaffected and grow up to be a nice guy who even uses his bad childhood to help others.
There is no destiny and there is no fate, mankind has the power of choice, problem is thatthey don't use it to its full potential.
I mentioned seven serials Killers. From those seven, two love to cook their victims and make excellent meal. Ed Gein and Jeffrey Dahmer. Now, are you telling me, that an insane person will not know how to cook a good piece of meat without burning it? They both new what type of spices to use for a better taste. Will this action make then more animal then human? Well, i don't think so.
Somehow I am not fully getting you.
...
ANYWAY though..to think serial murderers are cool might be a nice theory for some,
till one of them tortures, rapes and kills your mother, or child, or love.
Or..when it comes to it, you.
I was in a situ where I got almost murdered and it was not fun and it was not cool.
people generaly dnt murder because of psychological problem.they murder to meet their own ends. Killing sumbudy is nt that easy it needs tough heart . They enjoy doing so. Though sometime it may happen that in pressure due to rage he killd sumbudy that depends upon upbringing and environment also. And few times kill due to revenge . But crime is crime nobudy got right to kill somebody.
Exactly, killers don't need to be insane to kill or to be evil.
Rage and anger can drive some to kill.
Just doing it for amusment.
Revenge.
money.
army.
police.
gang.
who cares if someone kills or rapes people (i don't), its nature and one should not go crying to the law, they should have been strong enougth to stop them on their own. It is a kill or be killed world, if you run for help then you show weakness.
if you can't take one person out by yourself then you don't deserve to live. Survival of the fittest.
Cannibalism does not make one insane, itis something all animals have done for a very long time.
In fact, some tribes believe in eating people to gain knowledge.
Brains for knowledge and hear for courage and power.
Some people in africa like to eat albino people so they can get powers and the Iroquois did this to the high members of the prisoners of war.
No, it is not : Kill or get killed world.
Humans are social animals and so they have hierarchy and social structure that makes sure that they live together in a reasonable peace and cooperation.
Kill or get killed world is called war.
Maybe you live in a war zone as a soldier and so your words makes sense.
I do live in a calm peaceful country and am thankful for that.
Cannibalism is just fine in my eyes.
Who cares what kind of meat one uses.
In Aghora, eating human meat is normal.
(one my master is Aghori)
Well it is a kill or be killed world since it is what happens all the time even right now while we speaking someone out there is making a choice to kill or die....and they are not on the lovely battlefield. The human animals' "social structure" is something that they made or evolved from what some animals have anyway and those animals at least don't force it on other animals. Human law and order is a violation of nature and slap in the face to true free will. This world was once great but mankind grew to corrupt and greedy and so now control most of the world. An animal as weak as a human should get to control the world, nothing should.
Killing is needed in this world and moreso than ever before thanks to the population count.
Meat is indeed meat no matter where it came from, the cannibalsim in africa still happens today.
People believe they would gain power from devouring another's flesh.
That is something that has not changed....the desire for power.
Ay AY Ay...yes, we are living in a world where if you put your guard down, you will be crush to death. Gangs are becoming organized. The law only exist for the powerful and the money makes. People are becoming so enrage with the way that the world in general is going, that they will act without remorse of any kind. Yes, you may live in a nice place, but, I will assure you, they are people with in your clan, that have the evil instinct to kill you if you cross their path in a way that they don't approve.
Have you ever studied the childhood of those who grow up andbecome serial killers (of coursre some of you have). They have at least three things in common: bed wetting (more so than the usual child), firestarting, and cruelty to animals.
Hearing voices in your head is benighn, until they start to tell you to kill.
Recently a soldier in Afganistan just picked up his weapon and walked out and shot and killled over a dozen arabs, mostly children, for no apparent reason. I believe he was on his third deployment. Would you call him a serial killer? Yes he was in a war zone for the third time, but the behaviour was no different than if he was a serial killer. I believe the trauma and stress he had been subjected to over three years was most likely what triggered his behaviour.
I was a combatent for two years in Vietnam. I saw some really crazy shit come down. Given the right conditions any one can go off on a killing spree.
As far as the position of the planets in a natal chart., or memories from previous incarnations I feel they have nothing to due with serial killers.
'
DemianA I disagree with your assessment, simply because while stress can cause psychosis, it is not the same as the premeditation and ritualistic behaviours that serial killers exhibit.
I think there are other ppl who may have had experiences and lives similar to them but ended up not committing these horrid crimes,I think the reason they did it was stress in society perhaps just one day they broke and said enough or perhaps they blew a mental fuse and lost their sanity
In my opinion, some serial killers kill because they are genetically programed to do so, others do it because the stress they endured during their lifetime caused them to snap. However, most kill for the pleasure of it: they have no compulsion to kill, they just do it. In general, they do so because they feel like God, deciding who lives and who dies. Killing is the ultimate control someone can have over anothers life, and some people get addicted to that feeling; the adrenaline, feeling the life vanish from the body. Surprisingly, a lot of people in our society have the same mental states as killers; cunning, deceptive, manipulative, and know how to lie very easily. Some times, it's just a fluke of fate that someone becomes a CEO of a company instead of serial killer.
Agony if we box ourselves into that way of thinking we will progress to aborting any child that promises to have the gene. Serial mURDER IS NOT A GENE!
Murder, a action of free will, rage or insanity.
isn't life just wonderful.
Murder is not limited to mental illness as some controlling cowards like to believe and hold on to, humans come in all shapes and sizes and so one cannot expect all humans to be goody little two shoes and should not force others to fit into that category, in fact one can say morality is a mental illness if they too consider immorality and amorality to be one as both are just what some animals are like.
This whole "thou shalt not kill"and the law is just something cooked up by human society to control things, in the wild anything would go.
you see all animal's natural morality is survival and their instincts, anything else is something they had just to adapt to or became too comfortable with and laziness and cowardice ensued. No more hunting and just people sitting on their asses trying to control as aspects of their lives.
There is nothing wrong with good people of course just as much as there is nothing wrong with evil people, there are just simply different types of people and one should not be forced to be like the other because that is oppression and slavery because i sure bet the so called law abiding citizens wouldn't like to be locked up or executed for being charitable or be forced to do evil.
I have to admit i too like to see how things work in their heads and genetics regardless of ethics. Things are like puzzles to me and i enjoy putting the pieces together which is why i understand how good and evil work. Murder is in a lot of animals, its part of the instinct and behavior.
It could range from being a forbidden taboo, how they were brought up, sudden life traumas, drug use, so many factors. Honestly there's so many possibilities, it's hard to give a real answer. I'd simply say "life caused them to kill" If that makes sense to you all.
It is our nature to kill, yet our enculturation teaches us to obstain from our nature. In this confliction, only a few are devoid of the enculturated conscious that obstains our nature of life and death. Ultimately, once the keys are achieved, they are seldom returned.
I leave with this thought:
I see you in the distance,
not knowing what to say,
you look right through me,
as we pass each day,
I know I must forget you,
but my mind wanders back,
to the night that I held you,
until your eyes glossed back.
They all have the inability to connect what they are doing that it is bad. Simply put they don't have a conscience. However, it is because for whatever reason, they can't make normal social connections like regular individuals do.
Were they predestined to do it? No. They merely possessed the constitution that under certain circumstances could produce a killer. This is why some other people can go through the same things and be fine. Each individual is different.
I'm taking General Psychology this semester.
Execution is the same, back in the old days, people would form a crowd and cheer while watching someone get hanged or burnt etc
It still happens today actually, the execution chambers these days have a window so these so called "moral people" can watch a human being die. Said dying person is not given the dignity or peace of dying on his or her own, instead they are watched like its tv and humiliated.
and since the justice system is very flawed, there have been innocents that ended up like that.
I think it a perfect storm of genetics, childhood trauma,
and an undeveloped conscience, but I've heard
demonic possession brought up as a possible
explanation and that gives me the creeps.
I myself have been diagnosed with many mental illnesses... Clinical depression, Amphetamine induced depression, Amphetamine induced Insomnia, Post Tramatic Stress Disorder, and a few others that I can't remember, but what it all boils down to is... would any of these disorders make me want to kill... personally I don't think so, it is the way I handle my disorders that make me who I am.
People who kill, sometimes know what they are doing and could stop themselves, if they wanted to, but they choose not to because killing gives them the one thing they are looking for in their lives that they normally wouldn't have, that is power over someone or something.
To clarify,
Its not necessarily a mental condition that makes people serial killers although some of them do have any number of social anxiety disorders or schizophrenia, or any really any disorder contributes to, not causes the problem. And anything could cause it. However to say that a person has no control over their future is harsh. After all, your life is exactly what you make of it. The same is true of everyone.
Asking if "someone is born to murder" is the same as asking if a person believes in predestination. I do not. My life has not been written yet. Jussayin. :P
