I do not feel like typing it all out. So I am just going to post my blog article here that I wrote after an investigation. I am a paranormal investigator. A friend and I are still puzzling about what we saw. I would like some public input.
"ARAPAHO CEMETERY-ARAPAHO OKLAHOMA
I really haven’t been to too many cemeteries to investigate. Yet I believe that this one in particular takes the cake. It is nestled out in the middle of nowhere besides the few stray houses you come across. When the sun goes down over the horizon, it becomes black as pitch. Which is the ideal feel for a cemetery, you want it as dark and quiet as possible.
Some of the team members and I went in search of Robena Smith’s grave. It is said that if you stand before her grave that she will speak to you. To the right of her grave lies her father George. W. Smith, who was a very godly man during his life. Robena was killed while driving and front ended an ice cream truck, which thus decapitated her. The moment she died witnesses claimed to hear George lamenting, “Oh Lord Robena! My daughter Robena has not been saved!” At the time Robena in her father’s eyes had not been leading an ideal life. Not only will you hear Robena’s voice coming to you graveside, but you will hear George fervently exclaiming about Robena’s condemned soul.
When we first arrived it was already late and quite dark. As we first entered I was looking out the window and saw a solid, humanoid shape crouched down on knee among the graves. We weren’t there very long when we began seeing shadow people, things mimicking grave lights, and the sounds of the phantom dog. Also creeping amongst the graves was the humanoid. It would peer over and around the headstones. It would also scurry from one to the other, which was odd in itself. When it did so it would crawl very quickly on its hands and knees. At one point it crawled on the tips of its fingers and toes. Near the end of our visit the creature was close enough to make out more detail on it. It was a greyish white, about 3 feet tall, round head that was bald, had elongated hands and feet, and muscular chest. To put it simply it looked like a buff, naked toddler with a skin condition.
I also had a man talking to me, he would tell me, “You don’t belong here. You shouldn’t be here. You need to leave.” He was very adamant and persistent in getting us to leave. I also found an area where it felt like constant foot traffic. The last place I was it felt like rocking in gentle waves. I was filled with a warm, happy, brilliant light that nearly made me want to sing out loud. Suddenly I heard a woman in my head humming; she told me “I like you being here.” Near the end before we left she told me; “No please. Don’t go you’re the only one that understands me.” She became angry and it felt like somebody was behind me putting their hands on my chest. I even had finger indentions in my shirt around my shoulders. It felt like she was trying to plant me there like a tree. I had to see the names of the surrounding graves before leaving. The grave that was right next to me was that of a Maggie A. Watson.
Cathy said after we found Robena’s grave and then we went our separate ways. She remained at the gravesite and was looking up at an airplane passing by when a shadow darted across. She said it was pretty massive in size and had arms, legs, and enormous wings. It disappeared into a nearby treetop.
Then as we were leaving and driving down the road a black shadow emerged out of the road, almost as if erupting out of the street. It was tall with arms, legs, and enormous wings as it reached higher it dissolved into black mist. I automatically turned around and looked out of the back window; I saw what looked like a black wave rolling across the blacktop. It was blacker than the black asphalt and going at a fast speed. It stopped almost a foot away from the glow of the street light.
About five minutes after returning home I heard a sing song voice similar to the woman at the cemetery. I believe that it is possible Maggie followed me home, but if she did it wasn’t for very long.
We stopped at a restaurant called “Perry’s” it is almost like a Steak n’ Shake. While there we did our routine of adult oriented conversation and pondering what the hell we saw as we were leaving. It has been almost a week later and Cathy and I have been wracking our brains as to what we exactly saw. So far are deductions are as follows; gargoyle (especially with the solid, humanoid thing for me), thunderbird, and owl person (for the winged shadows Cathy saw). I am an avid person in studying cryptozoology and creatures of a cryptid like nature. I still cannot come to a conclusion of what was seen. All I can say is that I saw both things and can describe them to the best of my abilities. There is no one or nothing that can convince me otherwise of what I saw. Those things will always be with me and that is all there is to it. "

What do you it is that we could have seen?
That's a screamer, they feed on high emotions and left over energy. I've seen a few out where I'm at, I wouldn't get to close if I where you. As for the dog and shadows I can't tell you with so little to go on.
The dog supposedly belonged to a person who lives out there.
The shadows I am assuming people who are interred there or those who walk freely though out dimensions.
To be honest I'm not sure as the info isn't that detailed. Have you looked into the history of the cemetery and any other occurances there? Perhaps its a paranormal hotspot?
As for what you saw it could be a few things as the details are a little vague. Inter-dimensional beings, specter? This needs more research.
Greetings, I am Victorya.
I think is magnificent that you are a Paranormal iIvestigator. For this study is not what could easily be found in "normal" science.
Perhaps the answer to what these things are cannot be detailed as an objective fact. As it may be from a realm that is not subject the known or explained, by mere technology and the quest for empirical evidence.
@Dabbler it's been awhile since we have touched swords.
That is all I could give you. Because the beings weren't in close enough range to get more detail. That is why it is up for speculation.
I personally am still stuck on gargoyle.
Thank you! Most people believe paranormal investigating is all fun and games. It is not. Most of the time it is boring unless you are getting some good activity.
Some say that a dog was used to either keep the spirits in graveyard as well as keeping intruders out. Sometimes when the original guard dog died, they would bury it in the cemetery so that it could protect it forever. As for the shadow, could have been one of many things. Gargoyles tend to be a bit nasty, as do Screamers, or soul eaters as I've sometimes heard them called. Other than causing a headache, the shakes, or just plain tiredness, there's not much to worry about from them.
And should you ever get chased home by something, there is some truth to throwing salt over your shoulder to ward off bad luck (more like bad spirits).
A Fallen? An Incubus? I would need more information and then research. Wish I could be more helpful on that one.
As for the dog as stated above they protected the cemetery from gravedigger, as well as kept the spirits in their respective graves. But personally I believe it is a form of spirit guild for the dead.
It calls howls for the dead to follow in peace while it warns the living not to trespass a place they do not yet belong. But that's just my guess.
I think it is highly possible that it could have been a previous guard dog.
I am still researching the solid figure.
It could be that every cemetary has its own unique creatures. Thus making general categorization impossible.
The being that walks on it's toes and fingers sounds rather creepy. Could be a demon of some sorts or just a dark negative energy.
The being with the wings, well this maybe sound far fetched but have you considered a nephilim. I've done some research on them and not a lot out there that is concrete but it could be something else to think about.
I went back to the cemetery a month ago and we had no encounters with the creatures. Although this time we had a ghost box with us and kept getting mechanical talking which spirits said were the "protectors". I also kept seeing a red orb trying to lead me to the road, which I didn't go to the road, because that is where the protectors hang out.
I have never been 'investigating', and I don't really know much on the subject of demons and spirits and what not, but I will say that I know some people that do go investigating and they swear up and down they've caught similar stuff on camera. Granted, I've never seen any of their 'evidence', but eh, why not believe them right? Anyway, hearing voices seems to be the most prevalent form of 'personal experience' when on an 'investigation'. I've heard it's actually very rare to see a full apparition, especially one with so much...energy. And like I said before, I'm not experienced in this 'line of work', or whatever, but the humanoid/animalistic being you say you've encountered, sounds sort of...Native American. Like a sort of 'guardian'. I've heard of stories of spirits taking on animalistic qualities, in order to guard a specific chunk of land. But I may have just watched one too many episodes of paranormal state. It could just be that this particular entity had always been there, and then the cemetary was built on that piece of land. Or heck, maybe the cemetary is what brought the figure there in the first place.
You should go back to where the protectors are and see if you can pick up anything else with them. It could help you figure out what or who they are.
Out of all of those occurances I'd be much more concerned about something that was able to follow you home. Although it didn't stay it does give the idea that it wasn't fully attached to the area it was in and can possibly permanantly separate from it. But the biggest reason that should be more of your concern is that if the woman's spirit could follow you, something much much more dangerous might be able to as well.
I would definitly say do more research and do go back but not alone and with more than two people.
Like others i think the dog was possibly a guard dog, as for the figure a demon of sorts or maybe a gargoyle
