Personally, i find myself saying that Van Helsing was boring and over rated. The vampires were pathetic, and i found it to be dragged out quite a bit.
although i must agree, i think, not real sure but i think this has been done before
it was ok i guess i think that it could have been much better then it was.
the graphics were cool but I don't think it was up to it's hype!
i see your'll point.....and it might of been done before......gosh.....just think how
many movies are out there......people are running out of ideas......lol
i myself.....liked it.......all my fav monster
movies put together........
Well i think the Van Helsing character was taken from the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker so everyone has quite a sense of familiarity on him... Well about the movie from1-5 (5 being the highest) my ratings would be between 2-3, because I saw plenty of ropes froms those "flying" vampires... (I have keen eyesight though I wear 50-50 grade glasses) I can't really say it sucked coz of what they had done to the set (the village), but I think they could have done it better...
It seemed that the whole warewolf thing was thrown in after the fact!
ummm..well i thnk it was well DIFFRENT....lol i don't really care for it though....the vampires were well not very realistic....u mean if you have seen it then we will know wat i mean....
no i don't think so i mean it has funny parts in it but i don't think soo...lol
ok, i thought it was supposed to be funny. but then i'm someone that thought interview was a gut buster.
I loved the movie. Just because the characters aren't exactly portrayed as how they really would be in reality, it doesn't mean that you have to dislike the movie. I personally loved the movie. Best Regards and Wishes to all!!!^_^
I thought the movie was ok. I didn't like the way some of the characters were portrayed.
The movie sucked. Kate Bekinsale's poor attempt to sound like a native-born Romanian didn't help either. Still, she looked hot. Graghics were good but story line was weak.
I personally think that its overrated and the graphics and stuff suck
That was the most god awful movie I have ever seen I caught myself falling asleep watching it or I was getting on the phone I love vamp movies but I must say that was the most pathetic excuse for a vamp movie.
lol..... i did think some of it was a trip....
and i am sorry i am the only yo-yo that liked it.....lol......
i thought it was a pretty shitty movie myself.. wouldnt go out of my way to see it again
it was not particulally good at all, it had good CGI and an ok plot line but i think i was aimed at a younger audience, not being scary or particlally gorey. but then again thats my opinion
I really liked Van Helsing. I got to see all my favourite horror movie characters in one movie. Plus, Hugh is quite the babe...lol
I actually did not care for it, because it seemed like they dragged it out to long. The best part I did like was of the imps attacking the village, had a good laugh at that.
It was an alright movie. I cheered when the "monk" got the pussy. I thought it was a cool movie.
i thought i was a good movie and those who ar dissing it consider the fact that the movie is pg 13. the previews were Shaun of the dead, seed o chucky and the mummy movies they werent aming for a real thinking demographic i was ment to be a turn your brain off and watch type of movie
i should also note that i like most movies i just consider what the makers aim was who were they triing to entertian
I downloaded it off of WinMx when it first
came out and I could only watch a bit of it.
I thought it sucked. So i deleted it.
it was an ok movie, not much action or anything like that, the storyline was good compared to some other movies.
mariska was the best out of the 3 vampire brides, nice voice
i really loved that movie! it was a good thing to see all of the caracters in one sitting!
I haven't seen it yet but what I seen from the previews of it I think it would suck alot but i'm not sure about that yet still have to really watch it.
should also remember this movie draws it's insperation from the classic horrors before technicolour, that and being aimed at a very young audiance.. in all that it was good..as mentioned before it's not not really a thinking movie
How can I say what exactly about the characters? I'm not sure if this'll answer your question or not Hellfire, but I'll try, lol. The movie was fiction, therefore, that doesn't mean the characters have to be the way they would factually. It's just my opinion, I'm not trying to force it onto anyone. =) (I don't wanna start anything.... I just want to say that now, because most of the time, when this happens, it ends up in a little fight, and I just wanted to mention that I don't want that.) ^_^ *Best Wishes!!~
I think it was a decent movie. I really liked the way they did the opening scene. It reminded me of the old vampire movies.
I did not like it. Everything was very wrongly depicted. It was blown out of porportion.
The movie was entertaining.... parts I didn't like, I did however like the graphics and such...
Elder Daniel made an article about Van Helsing at the Acrimony...I read it, it's FUN and it's such a good read (yeah, Elder Dan writes well.)
You can read it -here-
=)
*Elder Dan's a good writer, really!
(sorry, been into graveyard shifts..gah!)
well i don't really like it...it is very unreal...soo yeah..i don't really like the vampire movies that are unreal and turn the vampires culture in to sum kind of monster when they are not...so yeah now that i think bout it i don't like it very much at all...:D
i think they abused the vampire, as well as decent acting. the script was horrendous, the dialogue was so corny it gave me goosebumps, and the absolute overzealous racism issue was stressed too much. the whole "appreciate frankenstein because hes different" seemd all too much to be democrats trying to fight racism through movies. i give it a 2 out of 5, for the effort.
I actually enjoyed it. Thought the effects were awesome, had other monster aspects in it. I like the fact about how they came up with the character background of Gabriel Van Helsing. I took it from the different hints that they gave throughout the movie that he was the archangel Gabriel.
