I've heard of the onion trick.. but are there any other ways?

they go bump thump open doors when there is nobody there.one smashed the cd player cos he did not like guns and roses.i saw it happen.and hed put lotr theme song on at in 3 morning.this house is a ghost magnet. they come knocking on the door!wanting to move in.

If the place is way colder than it should be..is one of the signs.

Ghosts don't worry about being cautious, so they leave other tell-tale signs.. Just keep a look-out.

lights may flicker unexpectedly. Pets are also in tune with supernatural things so an animal may seem to stare or focus on a spot for a period of time where nothing seems out of place to you

My dogs freaks out only in one of the upstairs rooms.

They just refuse to go in there.

They let you know in many different ways that they are around.....like moveing small objects especially your keys. You also may spot them out of the corner of your eye...like a shadow.

Now that we are in the subject, last week, I was laying in bed talking to my sis. The door was open and the light in the hallways was on. Suddenly something went over the light that make a shadow in the wall. I told my sis, "what that heck" and She said, is just a ghost. Sometime when I go to sleep, I feel someone is pulling the blanket. Now that is cool. By the way, this is true. So, now, how can I tell if I got a ghost in my house? no idea.

I was talking in the Phone.

Area's are generally colder than normal.
You may see things like orbs or lights, which you cannot explain.
You find that belongings have been moved or have gone missing.

they're wildly attracted to energy sources..... electricity, running water, f'ing with the TV and stereo.

i used to have a ghost in my first apartment that would run water in the tub AND click down the drain plug first.

Cold spots,voices,doors opening by themselves and door handles turning,being touched,tv changing channels on its own.Just be aware,be calm and don't jump to conclusions.

They like to mess with technology, if it randomly malfunctions that's a clue

One of my ghosts killed my dish washer :(

One thing I've noticed is that if you have a camera that has poor resolution, like on a phone, and set it to black and white you can see a ghost better and their orbs often still show up in color

I've witnessed paranormal phenomena from many locations as an amateur ghost hunter and have had ghosts follow me home! Check for flickering lights, dark streaks passing you and clicking noises! Cold spots are misleading though! They represent where the ghost was not where it is! If you're a psychic or just plain sensitive to EMF then you may get quite queasy when in the presence of a ghost! As for Daemons, the entire room will become dark even at high noon! There will be strong clicking sounds that seem to come from all around you! However, noises like growling or screaming are just misinterpreted licking that has an alternating frequency like when you're tuning a radio and getting many stations at once back and forth! With either occurrence you will many times smell something out of place from where you're at! Like smelling food in a graveyard or fire where there is none!

Also.. I just a week ago moved in with my mom and I have seen this thing out of the corner of my eye a few times.. Always in the same spot by the staircase.. Then when I was taking my dog outside to do his business, I left the door open.. I glanced inside (direct line of vision to said staircase) and thought I saw a man.. When I looked back there was no one there..

Could this be a ghost? My boyfriend has said he has seen the same thing out of the corner of his eye as well.

it's entirely possible, actually stair ways are a common place for ghosts to hang out, I'm not sure why though

Wow.. and yesterday when my mom came home from work I was like, What's up with the ghost? And she told me there is no ghost. I was like, uhh, yeah there is!

Then last night me and my old man were watching a movie and all of a sudden we heard a deep growl in the back yard but nothing was there when he went outside to investigate. That was pretty freaky.

The lights in my basement like to flicker and kids toys like to go off and play their music by themselves. Never all of them at a time. Just one here and there.

I've seen both dark/black shadows and I have seen streaks of light. put a candle in the room make sure no air currents I've noticed when they are close to it the candle flickers and will dance depending on what or who is around
