ok, there was a what is death type one. so im makeing a what is life type one. what is life to you? did you or do you think you have a previous life? do you think you will have another one after this one is up. or just what do you think we are ment to do while we are alive? im very interested in what you all have to say. (if this has been made before, excuse me. i was not aware of it, my apologies.)

me, i personal think life is a "test" if you do not pass, you start over. if you pass, you graduate. simple as that.

There is no such thing as 'life.' Yea, it sounds depressing, but it's true. Every second that passes since our birth and even before that has brought us that much closer to death's doorstep. We are never truly 'living.' But since that is the word you put on our existence, I guess what it is to me is a system. We breath, eat, sleep and repeat day after day, month after month, year after year, until our next departure into the Oblivious. Sure, there is school and friends and parties, but think about it; we constantly repeat everything we do...there is never anything really different from the day before. Sure, we go to bed later or hang out with a different crowd, but that is just part of the system. Then once the system is done with us, we move on until our next awakening. Life is a lie...a terribly conceived lie.

aah, yes. but "Every second that passes since our birth..." to give birth is to give some form of life. is it not? you also mention something about Death. one must first be alive in order to die. even if it is soo small it dosent matter, just the fact that its there a little bit counts.

For millennia man has searched for a meaning to life. But there is not one. From the turmoil of creation two things arose evil and those who tried to change that evil. But evil prevails and to this day life is nothing but suffering for every one. People say that life is not a struggle to them but deep down they know it is And all they will ever know is pain and “happiness” in a persons life will not last and when it inevitability leaves they will be left searching for some thing to justify a meaning less existence.

i believe that life is just a series of events. some good, some bad. it's kind of weird though, because it's like someone put you in a movie, and you don't know the plot, and It takes you eternity to finally learn what's going on. But by that time, it's too late, and you're on your way to the next level. I don't know if i believe in an afterlife, or reincarnation. I like to think that when you die, it's over, and you won't know it, or every feel it coming. and you remain in a peaceful coma for eternity.

i think that life can be a gift of un compareable status, howver, it can be the worst thing in our god forsaking world. to me, it all depends on your outlook, your input, and the way you take chalenges in life that are thrown out at you.

to me, life is one BIG game. i know, cliche' but its true. their are winners and losers, people who dont even try to win, and others who try so hard they end up loosing. either way, to me its still a gift. maybe one some of us do not diserve, but a gift none the less.

life....I would think to agree with janette....a series of lessons...leading perhaps to illumination....dharma....zen understanding.....or perhaps just a good conversation from time to time.

To me life is being yourself,and not giving a shit what society/anyone else thinks of you,you know not letting them get the best of u kepping you head up and being proud of what and what you are,not matter what,so put it to a tee,Be like Marilyn Manson say,act,dress,and be who your true self !,that is to me the only way to truely be happy in life !

Aaaaah Life....
Well life is what you make out of it. If you leave it black and white, it will be dull; it you colour it, its hues will shine.

It is also one continuos lesson. It's up to you to pick the hints. If you don't show any interest yourself, don't expect it to be interesting.

Don't mourn over past mistakes but learn from them and get wiser.
That I believe is my recipe for a good life.
I'm open for any other opinions and comments. :)

I feal there must be something after life I do belive in God and heavan and hell but I allso belive I may be wrong! My opionion is just one view. I think we are alive to live and lead good lives and bealive as we wish.

Good conversation, interesting ideas and watching out for the greenish wobbly bits. Because the greenish wobbly bits are never pleasant.

life is a jurney

Life is nothing but a game. It is a game with no rules and a game that you control to a certain extent. It is a coloring book. You are able to choose which color you want inbetween the lines and where. If you color a page and do not like the outcome you cannot change it. You can rip it out but that would end the game. You are either evil or not. It all depends on what you were in your passed life. If you were evil then you will be evil now. Your fate is intertwined with your life and there is not way to change you fate for to change to to alter knowledge....I will leave it at this for someone else to figure out what I mean for I am not too sure for myself...

life is a series of lessons and bits of training. we are here to effect the spirtual releam in the future of our exsistance. of course eaxh will have thier own unique effect

life is just 80 or so long years of short lived happiness and total despair.
the lucky ones have something to live for, while the rest who dont get tossed aside and ignored.
ill be glad when its over.
