hey guys, whats up?
do you consider yourself a dark creature? why? or why not?
I do think of myself as dark. Why well lets see I love the night and hate the sun.In the late hours of the night I fill at peace like I am home.
very true. i hate the sun too, bothers my eyes....im always wearing shades during the day or something long sleeved liek a blazer, coat, jean jacket...something....i also hate the heat...blech....i love winter time, or when its raining and cloudy....=)
I consider myself to be a dark creature of this site because all i wear is purwe black and aloso i love the night and prefer to be out in it than the day but sometimes i am forced to go out in the day as because that is whenh many thigns happen over here like school and other fun things lol.also i am a blck metaler so i my music makes me fell very dark and like a creature screaming in the night and waken up christian nieghbours with such words as. the dead stare or f**k me jesus by marduk sorry aboutn the swearing if anyone gets offended but thats the name of the song and i dont care lol
Well, I like the night too, I usually walk around in my city, watching statues, taking photos. It's so beautiful, when it's full moon!
dark creature as prefering night??? - yes..... dark creature as who i am in my soul??? - deffinitely.... why??? well i do enjoy making ppl squirm hehehe and stuff, nothing better then watching a persons life collapse aorund them hehehehe (yeah i know about Karma and i'm going through the remifications as we speak!)
I'm definately a creature of the night. I work nights and sleep during the day. I'm extremely pale skinned and like my mum, I'm allergic to the sun, my skin blisters up and burns within an hour during the summer, oh and allergic to plasters, they give me blood poisoning and can kill me :P
/me covers herself up in sun factor 95 cream
Lovely huh.
Me, a dark creature? Debatable.
As life experiences smash me into a bloody oblivion, my soul becomes more and more dark. I resort to spite and revenge to quench my thirst for vengeance. As for the sunlight? It doesn't appease me. The night pierces my body with energy. I feel alive when the city is dark. I can walk alone in the moonlight and feel completely at home.
Night walks are the best. It's quiet, dark and all lit up and I find it soothing to reflect.
desolate streets inspire me to think and reflect. i agree.
Yes I do... I see it from observing myself in a sence. I do prefer the night and am basically nocturnal... however its more looking at the way I act naturally. I do have a morbid sence of humopur and odd perpective sometimes. Its just something somepoeple feel with in themselves and what sort of things they are uncontrollably drawn to... thats why we are here right?;-)

I'm more like one of Light's outcasts...one of the type that was born and bred in light but cast into darkness when i started questioning things...then the darkness took me in and sheltered me...showed me that everyone is equal in the darkness, that no one is better than anyone else...that sometimes the light is not that radiating goodness that most believe it to be...that light also has a second face...
i would consider myself to be somewhat of a Dark creature caz at first when i was born, i had a dark soul but held some sort of light
status, then i slowly started to slither my way into the darkness where i belonged soon after my father's death
Well, you'd have to define the term. Dark creature could mean different things to different people. Being that I'm the whitest man on Earth (Yea I'm Irish), I'd feel a little silly calling myself dark.
I am nocturnal and I wear a lot of dark clothes, and I possess some very dark humour, but I don't think this really qualifies for 'dark creature' status.
In a nutshell, I am darker than most, but white as a ghost. HA that rhymes!
Well I prefer the darkness and everything about it. The stores taht are only open in the day urk me. I would rather go out when there isnt alot of people. I am not found of people in my personal space.. lol
Well soo I guess my answer is yes.
Right on CountessMoon. Evasion of the masses is always in my best interest. The night is so much more inviting anyway.
I know I've said this in other places...but I don't consider myself a Vampire...I am more so one of the Un-Dead that roam the night hours...LOL...as if ya didn't know that...Not a Zombie either...more like one of those lost loners who drift in and out of towns...
I am most definately a dark creature....not becasue I wear black......
thats a cop out...I am a dark creature for I see the pain of the world...I took off the rose colored glasses and stomped the shit out of them years ago....I see that hungry child begging for change....that artist in the alley...the one who only draws with bic pens because they are all he can afford....I understand his muse and the power of her call...I see those other dark creatures that the waking world would gloss over and ignore.....
I cannot ignore them into invisibility.....and therefore I accept the darkest parts of our world as my own
this is why i feel I am of darkness.....no other reason
Nicely put, Daermon.
I suppose others would consider me a creature of the dark-- I spent more fruitful hours in it than during the day, and I'm more apt to go out and enjoy the evening more than most of those I make my company.
However the only reason I would even considering this like the others here, is my skin does not wear well with the sun. It never has, no matter how much sunscreen or shade I slip into to help it keep from giving me a feverish feeling.
I'll even go so far as to enjoy the cooler places in my home, laying myself out on the tile floor when I can. Perhaps it is a bit of the feline instinct at work, laying there on my belly and taking a nap, but it is a simple joy I can' help but find myself having.
Black clothing 24/7 however is a waste of time. In fact even the belly dancing skirt I made is mostly green and gold-- black only a background of the gold and yellow flowers on that delightful silk I found.
I rather sit to the shady side of a crowded cafe terrance and watch the others than watch from the shrouded window pane across the street like a vulture. Perhaps the sun's angle will change and cast me in its glow-- but I'll tolerate it to see the colors and the pulse of activity first hand.
Well I think my pictures and profile speak for me, tell me what you think. I am not sure.......*wink*
I should hope that I am a dark creature, my personality would most definitely not fit in the light. Besides, night is when I was born, so I'm naturally nocturnal.
I was born during the day but light did not catch my eyes till next morn, The darkness was my first sight, it has sheltered me since birth and has been my friend ever since, I relish in its delight and enjoy all that it holds, for I'm very secretive and mysterious and hold many secrets that no one shall know or ever know, I prowl the lands in the bleak of darkness, with ever watchful eyes, and I hear all that creeps through the night, for I am one with the night and thus I am a dark creature, for my soul is a black abyss that consumes all that is to be had
absence of light is darkness

I am an inherintly dark evil creature, because I have a hard time caring about what most other people care about, i.e., money, life, death, other people, the way other people feel about what I say etc. I think its genetic.
