This thread is mainly for those here who live only for their death.
I have read one quote which says that A death is only true adventure. What do you think about this?
And for those who agree, try to explain me whats so great or adventurous on the death.
Thank you
Death is a real adventure because you realy can do it only once in a lifetime...
Well? Being the weird chap that I am, I love the idea of the dead, not exactly dying, although some mornings I wish I would'nt wake up. To put it in a redneck way, I fell that people us death as an excuse for a feeling that they can't overcome or possibly a way to be different. Death is something that should not be takin litteraly, when you whatch someone you love die you grow a respect for life. Maybe that will put a dent?
True, but then how does anyone really know that it's an adventure? If you can't live to tell about it, what the adventure in that? I'm sorry but I have to say the true adventure is living out and surviving each and everyday to tell about it to the ones who come after you. I find it is better to learn for the living, then to learn from the long gone dead. >;^}
why do people have to tell everything? If you don`t say what you`ve done doesn`t mean that you didn`t do it...
I think that death is an adventure, a new wxpirience..but not the only one in life...life is an adventure, and it ends with one
Well Banshee as u said it like that it makes sence. So one good point of wiev why the death should be an adventure...
However it is just a small part of one TRUE adventure: life.
Dami Im glad for your support: The same opinion as I have.
do so many wish for thier death? why would you? you would just sit in silence, never to think another thought, never to feal happiness, never to feel Love for another or your self. you could never think another thought or poem, never lift your hands to draw in the eyes of the person on your painting everything i have been through has suked but for those moments... its soooo worth it.

So Many I guess we arent so different. You have said it right!
Think about your life. I'm not talking about the occurrences of your living here. I mean think about your state of living itself. It really has nothing to do with your body at all. The you that is alive is alive whether or not you happen to occupy that body. This said my point is...there is no such thing as death...save spiritual death. ..and even that is a form of living if it can be called that. I that perspective, death is also a state of "being" and hence "life"
When there are those struggling and fighting for life how dare we who have it and take it for granted wish for anything else ....???
Death is lifeless, spiritless and endless...we become worm food and nothing else ....THE END!!!
why question something we know nothing about? that's just bloody stupid!
Banshee, if you only die once then you only LIVE once. If death is so great then why dont we equally savour in its antithesis?
I do agree with Sunshine's point about death being the end... or at least I think I do. Who knows. It will be interesting finding out what happens when I die, but that doesn't remove the fact that it will be interesting finding out what happens tomorrow...
true that death and life are just "states"
And death is just sbut a journay itsself just as life is. You learn alot and you lose alot. I beleive that death is the finaly journay in everything. once you died you've figured out everything thing there is to figure out in life and death and if you choose to come back in another form to learn more you can. everything we've done is to help us for what is to come next...
Great points of wiev guys!
Gorey I m really sorry for annoying you, lol!
personaly i find death to be absolutely fascinating. I am not saying that I myself wish to die, it will happen when it will anyway.
i find it so fascinating because life is this huge series of many events performing virtually flawlessly for such a long time, and then they just cut out. everything keeping you alive just stops. i think that this is just too bloody amazing, and I must admit I am very curious of how it works, I am not sure if that will conote quite what I wish but......(I know some about the why, the telemere breaking down and everything, but yeah)
just thinking about what comes after death is the adventure all in itself
true we will all be dead but for some they believe theres something more after death as i said in my other post...
hey gorey....without questioning that which you do not know....how does one learn anything.....answer me that?
In mz opinion, it doesnt matter IF there is life after death or there isnt, we should live and enjozed it!
Cos you never know
In my opinion, it doesnt matter IF there is life after death or there isnt, we should live and enjoyed it!
Cos you never know
who really knows whats after life,i just live for today.for tomorrow, will never come
Just only If you ll think about this:
Whats bigger adventure? Life or Death?
Sure life cos the death is only a part of life!
as every new experience I find death interesting, though I don't wish for it! Why we debate about something we don't know? We, the alive ones, will never know what is death and what happens after it? Who knows, maybe in death there is a forum which is called LifeRave where dead people discuss what's happenig after rebirth! ROFLMAO!
Death to me has the meaning of being free...but life also has freedom, it just depends on how much freedom you allow yourself to be given...life to me once was meaningless but something good happend and now death seems less to me.....We all long to die at some point...so that we can be rid of the world...but my advice is make the best of a situation...because life gives you the chance to love.....
Zlee, I just wanted to hear your opinions...
You dont have to join this debate if you dont want. Dont take it wrong
Well, i never asked to be brought into this evil world.. so i think it's only fair i have the choice to leave whenever i want... next stop.. nothingness.. mmhmm
Ok, so there is meant to be an afterlife, but its not prooven.
thanks for clarification....
I was referring more to the idea that wihtout asking the questions the answers will never be known...i'm sure at some point the concept of the cause of diseases was counted among the unknowables....who knows.... maybe if we question long enough.... someone may find the technology or science that can open the veil and show us what is next....I almost hope they don't....but without the question.... none will even attempt....
when you close doors....those are avenues you have now removed from your future.
just a random thought
it's a good point... i just don't think technology can break past death.
anything with death is totally hidden from us. we don't know if there's anything after it. there are rumours and theories. but that is all they are.
I think that you both have points; death like many unknown aspects of the world and its cycles, is something that we cannot fully comprehend until we experience it, however we also cannot (like Banshee is originally saying) live for somehting with we are not completely certain of what ti is, unless we want to movce this uinto religion (for a change)...
I believe life should be considered more of an experiance then death, for there is so much you can do now. I think the reason some are preoccupied with death is because it is a mystery that will not be solved until you take that last breath of life
well up to a certain part of my life i was one of those ppl always wishing for death but now i have things to look forward to . as for the part about the afterlife i agree vampyric that its not proven but ppl still believe in there religion on that hope of having something there after death.
i dont see how death can be an adventure... unless you see life as part of the actual death, then it all becomes one huge big adventure with death being the final target...
