The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Seeing that this is a Vampire Site, with info and such about Vampirism. I figured it might be interesting to post about real Vampirism, as some known it as, Strigoi Vii, Living Vampirism, or the Condition.

Real Vampirism, is the lack of Life eneger within the Physical Body. We, tend to become more tired, feel physically drained and not so healthy. Yet through several different means, we can feel well and healthy once more.

These means are, Sanguine Ingestion, Emotional Draw, and Psychic Draw. Which leads to three different castes of what Strigoi Vii strongest aspect of feeding is.

Strigoi Vii are never embraced, you can't making someone into something, they are born into it.

Why are we born into such a Condition, well, we have yet to know, there are idea's about, being old souls of the Nephilim, or as in the Elorath, we were once our own great race which found ways to cut ties with one of our Chakras so we can live in the Etheral Realm and not have our souls recycled, yet, we can choose as Strigoi Morte to come back in a body of a child yet born and without a soul.

Now, as for the more interesting questions, no we are not immortal, our souls are, yes, that is for any one with a soul. Yet, physically No, we are no immortal.

We do not have special powers, like turning into bats, controling people, dominating animals and such.

Now we do have subtle abilities like feeling the etheral winds, astral plane projection, the sense and flow of energy about us, yet, thse are what I can feel and some of the stuff I had talked about with others of the Condition.

As for being a Strigoi Vii, we awaken into it. When we awaken we have no clue, it all veries from person to person, just like our feeding aspect and our subtle gifts.

This is but a small part of what real vampirism is, it isn't a subculture its what we are.

Finally a thread thats not on who is a Vampire, who drinks blood, or how gothic am I.

I agree with you on this though.....there are people just born into it. And though they might not have "great powers" they have special gifts bout them. People can sense this, and it makes them either slightly afraid or curious.
Anyway, just my two cents added............

Thats what Real Vampirism is. There are houses, Families and Covenants out there, most seem to be based out in New York, but you do get small groups of Ronins/Khabits, who tend to get together from time to time to creature their own groups, which relfect their idea on how vampirism came about and how to achieve the higher self.

There are a lot in NY......we have the Sanguinarium here too.
I was in one of these clans.......House Of Tempest-Storm.........it was at one time recognized by the Sanguinarium.

Not all of the clans are good though.

i am a sanguine believed i was born into it cause at a early age i had the wanting for blood most people that ask about real vampires always come up with something from hollywood. One question for you though do you think that we should educate those dont know or just let them keep there ignorance about it.?

And if you can let me know more about the clans that there are, I have stated that I am not a vampire as most people see them but do feed in other ways than blood. I can and will unknowingly feed off of peoples emotions and other energies.

Hello sin :) ;And you totaly took the words out of my mouth what i have been saying for years to much mythology based on vampires like ok i am not 553 or 700 toothless but rather very mortal with a lil twist i see dead people and i take others emotions when i touch them i can read them and feel energized i all so at one time consumed blood but growing up with the myths of today and yesterday i was finding my self going insane and became with drawn even thou i helped others talk to loved ones and was labled as a crazy medium lady i knew i was diffrent and since i can remeber i have all ways been that way it got stronger after my accedent when i went over a car going 50mph ill post the story in my journal .. ok well said on the thread sorry to ramble on

at first i didn't know what a vampire really was. then i found out that they are people who feed on peoples emotions and make them miserable just like the dementors of harry potter. i knew that i was one of those people when i wanted to know why people avoided me and didn't like me as a friend. i fed off their emotions to make myself happy. later on came the blood thirst.

Well first off, let me address about the blood thing. Just because you have had the desire of blood since you were younger doesn't mean your a vampire, means you have a blood Fetish. I'm a Mradu or A.K.A Sanguine Aspected feeder, yet what I feel isn't desire for blood, but the desire for Life Energy, trust me, the hunger for Life Energy differs from blood lust.

As for Clans, there are no clans to really say, they are known as Houses or Covenants, which are groups of Strigoi who believe in the same ideals, much like a Religion. Now the only thing close to Clans are the feeding aspects, like Warriors, known as Mradu's are Primary Sanguine feeders, then you have the Priests, which, if I remeber right are primarly Psychic, then you have Councillers who are Emotion feeders.

As for drawing on emotions, it doesn't make people misirable, what it does is tires them out, like any one who has life energy pulled from their body. Yet, as they do get tired, they will more then likly get a bit irritable, which is understandable.

Oh yeah sorry forgot about the houses. I do not know much about any of them, I'm a Khabit within the community, so with that said I don't get much info on it all.

You have the primary houses, like the Dreaming, Sahajaza (I know I spelt that wrong), Sabertooth, and... I know there is more I can't think of them off the top of my head.

Me, I'm currently creating my own path to follow, which, if it makes sense, I might be able to open up my own house eventually.

i know you asked sin how to tell the diffrence between RPGers and Real well from what i have been able to understand being a real one by birth some RPGers play real good one thing and i have noticed they will claim to be over 100 years old and sierd (spelt wrong)
or they will say that they are immortal with long white fangs or that the burst in to flames or shape shift to myst ok thats just a few...... as for the real ones i cant speak for all or any because it took this site and this thread to open me out to talk about what i am i have tryed but i was all ways confused with a myth i dont have snake like fangs or bite necks exciept sins i dont consum blood on a daly or hourly baises and i dont burn up in the sun but light dose hurt my eyes but then again look at the color light color eyes are generly light senitive we lack the pigment that others have for light protection any way sin you must stop biting me i am going to fall in lust with ya (lol)

Do you gain more energy off someone with a stronger aura? I have this friend that is beaming with energy all the time. I have low energy because my bf drains me. If I were to drink his blood would that give me more energy? I know it's kind of a strange question.

in my experience blood of a loved one will restore health, energy, willpower, etc. but watch what your doing cause blood carries virruses. cheers

If you could tap into your fiends energy and drink of that not his blood you would feel more vitalized as I do. And I wish I could tell you how to do it sorry I just do it.

I have heard that that is a way to detect if you or if someone is a psychic Vampire.

Being able to pull energy or "feed" doesn't neccessarily make you a vampire either. The only reason most people do it is because it's a learned ability and not just vampires can do this. I have experienced this before and have felt the pull and the taking. I can see why some people do it though, mostly because it feels like a high. I classify this as being an "energy junkie". Secondly a vampire does both, feed from the blood and from emotions. It keeps them from feeling weak or sick. If you aren't feeling weak or sick and you take energy....then you aren't a vampire.
