Not sure if this would be the place to post this or if posing something of this nature at all is recommended but... I just wanted to point out... Especially for Whelps, Misquitos and Shadows... That the FAQ is a very resourceful thing to read... And if you dislike having few messages then you should already be clicking the link... I just thought I would post this based on people's general... Obliviousness (might not be a word but hey)... A resource at your finger tips... Why not use it? Not trying to be offensive... Just trying to help... And if this kind of post isn't allowed here... My apologies...

ill read it later, right now i got to head off to work, but ill definately read it.

I've only read about half of it. ^_^ lol.

The sad thing is most people don't read it then complain moan or groan and ask questions that are clearly answered in it.

I hate it when people dun read it then constantly bitch about not having something that a higher status has.. People like that are strange..

Im not trying to verbally attack you dear, but you have only just started yourself, and although status doesn't matter, I dont know how people on similar levels to you will like you lecturing them. Those who have been here longer know how many times a 'read the FAQ' thread has been put up here. You weren't to know, and as I said Im not trying to pick on you, as I say this in most FAQ threads, but we live in societies where not everyone follows the rules, and frankly a lot of people here dont read posts that are over a paragraph, in fact I doubt anyone is reading this now, if anyone does read this, then please message me the word 'grapes' to my inbox... maybe if you suggested whacking everyone with a cattle-prod who didn't read the FAQ, then that might be a good plan.

Maybe you could suggest to an admin that when peope register, the FAQ page has to come up, like an 'agree to terms policy' so that people would be encouraged ot read about what is expected and considered acceptable on the site. Then, if people disobeyed the rules of the terms, then they could be more easily dealt with then playing innocent or simply not reading it. You have made a good observation though, and its one that many people has made for its the FAQ's lack of 'followers.'

yes well this has been done before......but some threads need to be recycled again and again.....because we are getting large numbers of new members daily.....
there is a poll up about would people like a chat room.....obviously the writer has never clicked on the conservatory.....

When I was back at that level, I used the FAQ and it was helpful. People just don't want to take the time to search for the answers, when they could just be given to them.

Not surprised that other people have done the same thing... Would be kind of sad if they hadn't... To be honest I care very little.. I noticed what I noticed and did what I did.. 'Flame' me if you wish or compliment or analyze... It is the same to me... Though I was not trying to insult or lecture... Just point something out...

first of all echo the longer the post you make the more attention i pay to it bc they can be ensightful the vast majority of the time and ChaosAbsolute it doesnt help only for the lower levels...i still read through there to make sure of one thing or another

Not to agrue, but those who do not go to read the FAQ, status system, User levels, ect are not going to read terms and conditions. Thier main point of the internet is an outlet for bitching and moaning.

I agree things have to be recycled and some things have to be put planly for some folks. I know when I first came here, I just worked on the profile and never read anything. I eventually did when I was confused, but.. thats besides the point.

It took me like 5 mins to read. I don't see the problem.

I have never read it..I came here last December..and still I have not read it..at least I can't remember ever readin it....only been told off once....grrr...bad Daire tellin me off....~giggles~

Good job Echo (grapes). I have read some of it but like the abbr. of it FAQ I read it when I have a question. That is the only time I go in it !!
