Why do you think as a vampire you can look at a person and tell whether you would want to feed off of their energy?

Before I became a vampire I would look at a person and be physically attracted to them but now when I'm looking at someone I "feel" whether they would fulfill me or not and completely ignore the physical characteristics. I just found this interesting because it's still kind of new to me.

Assuming that vampires actually exist (which they don't), I'd have to reckon it would be somethin' like ...

This would be because vampires in fiction where they only exist are created with better senses. Obviously, a vampire needs a good nose to sniff out prey so it's only fitting they can smell bad blood and good blood. Either that or they can tell they'd make a good cheeseburger.

Seriously, though, an author wouldn't make money writing a vampire novel where the "Vampire" asks people if s/he can eat them.

My senses does not seek energies from others. I am psychic vampire dire for space energy or aura of thesphere as substitute, our subconscious and use of energies tuned to that nature of dire.

Perhaps that could be called selective feeding ?

Maybe you would be drawn to a person who others would describe as 'lively', which may indicate that person has a 'steady' connection to the life force.

The interestng thing I find in your question is that a persons looks do not take priority, I don't think I have ever seen that in a forum post before.

Perhaps you are evaluating their mental compliance potential. We as humans assess those we interact with for resources, as well as potential mates, or associates. Some even wish to be able to read peoples minds ( usually to by pass all that routine socializing stuff).

Alot of humans attractions are through pheromones, yet as a vampiric tale it was drawn from the allure of the victim. sexually or an interaction from others.

depending on the said vampire and what they were after, feeding i do no think it would be a selective thing, "the need to feed". mate or kindship would say more selective in picking individuals.

How probably a little of everything, attraction, scent and knowledge.

No it's not heart beats. It can't explain it it's just something I sense. I work in a casino so I see alot of women, and when I look at them I don't know if I can sense their aura and not see it but I can just tell if they would be good or not by looking and standing close.

I can not attract to the vampire or common person to dire its energy I can not harm them. though I been reguler donor of my blood orh negative at least 25-30 I have donated though the address is lying in most reputed blood bank those time only open heart surgery was famous in the hospitals now other methods are introduced and age factor did pose on my address now or may be so many time i have donated that my address they do not give from few years, I am 41 and
due to meditator and being conscious student, no vampire can charm me psychic or distantly. my subconscious is molded that way that oce some one's conscious is around me, my subconscious get boost and then I m defending vampire chanting Oum and shielding myself from sinking my conscious very fast.

Mayhapst the sensation you tend to feel is the empathic trait that most of the us (vampire) have. I know what you are describing. It is a bit hard to explain, save for explaining it to an individual that actually gets what you are trying to say...Since we do experiance it as well.

There are differant sense that adjust to being who we are in general. This is instinct. The feelings that are recieved by the senses are much differant and higher than those of whom are not as we are.

This reminds me of the movie "Shallow Hal", where the lead character sees the inner beauty of the women who he meets.

Or maybe there is a scientific explanation. It's fairly well established that human males have two brains, but not enough blood supply to operate the upper brain when the lower brain is activated.. Since vampire hearts do not beat, maybe vampire males are able to use their upper brains when meeting women.

Like individuals here or in life, there is certain attractive points that people carry, and we do sense them. there is no big secret to this.

vampiric individuals seem to have a heightened aspect of senses so this may be a great factor for picking their prey or a mate. smell is probaly a major factor, proven.

You can tell alot by looking, but it depends what you are looking at. You can look at someone and see nothing if you don't know what you are looking for.
I can look at someone and tell if we would ever get along. It's nice not having to waste my time. Therefore, I believe myself to be reading their energy and it feels as though I can tell in a very quick matter of time if it could be a connection or not.

Among all senses most important is feeling the object which grows our conscious towards the object, and keep all other senses in that line. if conscious not grown much, if any vampire we do face, we can not escape it without admiring it in the inner and rest on vampire's act whether they pick on the person or not.

It's not like looking at a line of food in a buffet and rubbing your hands together eagerly.

You can only see auras, or tell if its "good" energy if you really, i mean REALLY try. so this question is kinda pretty much useless.

I know people who actually are convinced that he can light a candle with his mind. Now can he, he says he witnessed a candle being lite without a flame source, so at face value would you invest in him, to state at candles?

It would be so easy to apply observations, and gather data from those who profess to be vampires, and any claimed enhanced abilities. So when will those who profess, and seek noterity can distingush themselves from lore established characteristics. Profound claims, require profound evidence (paraphrase), to reply " Just because we have not seen something.." because those who identify as vampires claim to experencing convincing demonstrations of enhanced senses. Even claiming to have been tested, even if I believed in vampires I would question any claims of super natural

I was a bit taken aback by the "before I became" bit. The individual cannot "just" become vampire over night. The individual is either born into it and learns what the natural instincts are, or they are not. Simple as that.

But I do know what you are talking about...Be as it may that you would like to think you are vampire, I will not test your convictions. But, most every individual that knows what they are doing can sense if another individual is of "good quality" or not. This would be an empathic trait. The Vampire just has it a bit more attuned and hightened then the average Joe.

I think they look for easy prey, and they try and attract to a beautiful ladie. The vampire can only come in the ladies house only if he was invited in the house, and he would come back in the middle of the night while she's sleeping and bite her neck and feed from her blood. Once she is biten she will become a vampiress.

If I were a vampire I think that I would be able to just look at someone and tell if I would like to feed off of them or not. I would observe how they are if I see bad energy I wouldn't want that and if I see good energy then I would feed.
