What first caught your eye about the vampiric world? Are you a vampire? If not, what caught your eye?
How old were you?
How has it influenced your life?
What first caught your eye about the vampiric world?
Nothing really "caught" my attention about the world. I was brought into it by birth. I live like the average individual, even though I know little about how the average individual lives...Therefore, I am just surmising here.
Are you a vampire?
I am vampire, yes...
How old were you?
How old was I for what?
How has it influenced your life?
"IT" does not influence my life. As I have stated, just because I am vampire, does not mean I am something significant. I may age slower then the average individual, but by no means does this make me immortal.
I live night by night on account of my job. As I do work the almighty graveyard shift. If anything influences my life, it would be my lifes experiance and knowledge attained through my lifes endeavors.
To clarify, as far as age and the effect, I was reffering to anyone who was not born into it. I guess i should have been more clear.
What first caught your eye about the vampiric world?
The first thing that caught my eye about the vampiric world was the pure mysteriousness of it. The dark, the blood, the pure power.
Are you a vampire?
I am not a vampire, but I have my vampiric tendencies. If I could I would live in the night rather than the day and blood is very very good. Mmmm
If not, what caught your eye?
As I said before, the pure mysterious nature, way of life.
How old were you?
I was around eleven when I first found myself and my love of the darkness.
How has it influenced your life?
Not too much really. I have brought my friends to this site and one of them really got into it, another it's a game for them, and the others just didn't like it. Outside of the site my parents may think I'm a little weird, but oh well.
I am that which most identified the actual Slavic Vampire of Eastern European history rather than the fictional traits of the "undead," blood-sucking, energy-"feeding," daylight-fearing, fang-wielding "vampire" of pop-culture iconography. The actual trait, being hereditary, has been mine since birth. While already demonstrating this trait in very early childhood I did not learn of its extreme rarity until my early teens. I finally had the trait scientifically documented at 35, to the amazement of the university research team, yet did not discover its actual historical vampire origins until I was in my early forties. How this trait has influenced my life and the lives of others... friends, lovers, and foes... would fill a book, which book, in fact, I am currently writing.

How has it influenced your life? I know several who believe themselves to be vampires. Blood drinking and energy drinking. It's interesting to hear them talk about it, but I just don't buy any of it.
I also love the stories of certain super hero's, but it doesn't mean I believe myself to be one.

iam 22 and what got me into this world was the fact that i had dreams of blood and decay since i was 6 years old. I felt the need to drink blood and thought i was going against my family and religion by thinking this. Until i found out that i wasn't really a member of the church until i was baptized and that when i looked hard enough i would find those like me.
i am now 37 and would say vampires & the supernatural began to captivate my interest around the age of 5 or 6. i would watch old black & white (or color) vampire movies on weekend creature feature (as old uhf stations called horror movie marathons in the late 70s). also would read any vampire related books as soon as i could read. *** i was also a huge batman fan starting around age 4 or so... i've always liked bats. so it just progressed over time... my interest has deepened.
am i a REAL vampire? did i come to realize i was one? come on people - get serious! NO i am not a "real" vampire. but i have experienced numerous "otherworldly" things...
i have felt and repelled spirits, astral projected, seemingly "read" thoughts, foreseen things before they happened, on occasion communicated with the unliving, and had numerous other interesting experiences of an unearthly nature... but i assure you i don't need to feed on warm blood to survive or change into a bat. and even if i feel part of my soul is very very old and of ages past i do not believe that i am immortal. but my fascination with vampires and the supernatural will undoubtedly deepen as the timeline goes on...
Nothing particularly caught my eye about it, I just sort of always been on the darker side of life. I am a vampire, but didn't realize I was until not too long ago, last summer I believe, though according to my parents I displayed the "symptoms" all throughout my childhood.
Personally, I have always loved watching and observing humans - the way they behave, interact, etc. - almost as if I were an outside spectator in the human world rather than a human myself. For me the allure of the vampire comes with the immortality and the ability to watch the evolution of mankind from the shadows.
Every now and then, I like to play with psychic energy, but I don't really consider myself a psi vampire. I don't know enough about it to say one way or the other, though.
What first caught your eye about the vampiric world?
Actually, to tell you the truth, it was the count from Sesame Street. Sad, I know, but it's true. I started with the little kid stuff, ya know? Watching the Count, then watching that movie, "The Little Vampire," and the more I watched, the more I wanted to learn. What was this this strange sun fearing, neck biting, blood drinking humanoid creature who lived for impossible amounts of time? So I started to research a little, yeah...you could say I was hooked.
Are you a vampire?
I don't think I am. I am a human, despite my fascination with the vampire lore.
If not, what caught your eye?
I already answered this one.
How old were you?
How old are kids when they normally start watching Sesame street?
How has it influenced your life?
Not really all that much. It's fun, you know, to poke jokes about it, but all in all, "vampirism" isn't all that much a part of my life, other than sheer fascination and curiosity.
Well.... I liked this guy for a while, and it kind of blew up in my face.
My story is on my main profile... if anyone actually cares enough to read it.
