If you have, what were the consequences? I just can't believe that a blood exchange between a blood-drinking vampire and a nonvampire or other type of vampire would be inocuous (nothing happening). Was a psychic link between you and the nonvampire formed? Did the nonvampire become a vampire? Did it take more than one blood exchange for something to happen?
no i have not ever done it but i have drink someone else's blood....
What's fiction? You mean any supernatural or psychological results from a blood exchange?
No.Fiction means something that is not real.
As an answer for your thread, well I don't know, maybe some might do it.
i have had my ex-girlfriends blood but she was a vampyre as well.
yea, i've done a blood exchange...nothing happened though...
i have nvr done a blood exchange. so i wouldnt know. but, there is one who i would like to do a blood exchange with. lol
WHAT? OMG!!!
thank you whoever said FICTION.
dont people realise the dangers of things like... oh lets say...AIDS???
actually absinthe... i was saying fiction because i've read this ENTIRE process of blood exchange in a series of books called "The Darren Shan Saga"
lets face it. the person is basically talking about swapping or blending blood.
which is probably not the best idea if the two people involved don't know their blood types.
in actual fact. it would be impossible without needles and tubes (and a hell of a lot of them)
that's why i said this is fiction. because it's been in a book (even the half vampire bit) and on top of that. it's just the silliest concept ever
LOL, your both right... just becase I may partake in blod, doesn't mean that I want to mix it. As Gorey said... well, everything that Gorey said, I think is right.
I completely agree. It IS fiction. It has to be. Too much is at risk. Some may think of blood transfusion, which is totally different. I honestly dont think that a blood transfer would be possible...
I've drunk blood before, from an ex-boyfriend, and what happened was just..you know..the birds and the bees do it..
well you just don't exchange blood with just anyone. come on people, i'm sure that we take precautions in this day and age.
at least i do. i hope everyone else does as well
LOL
I think where people are getting confuse is the terminology.
For me a "blood exchange" is completely draining your self and completely draining the exchangee and then restoring opposite blood to each party. that is fiction.
I think what is being reffered to here is like a cross transfusion idea. Right? because this is of course is possible. Course if your not typed right you'll probably die. (don't know what the repercusions of that are)
As for you turning your mate lady, I'll set my watch and warrent that they were already a vamp and didn't know it, or they were as they say in the "coffin"
By what means Cross-Transfusion?
Hume to vamp is huge deal. it's very VERY rare.
Well, I haven't read the Darren Shan saga myself. However, don't you know that a blood exchange is required for initiation into some vampire houses? As far as AIDS and other blood-borne diseases, of course it's risky. And people do practice blood exchanges. I don't mean the fictional stuff that someone mentioned, a total draining or transfusion. Not many people could drink over a tablespoon full of blood without becoming ill, right? But I do mean the vampire drinks some of your blood and then you drink a little of his. A blood exchange is also performed in vampire marriages.
I think part of the mental block here is that, 1) many of you may be roleplaying and do not realize that there are real vampires right here on this board, and 2) you might not believe in the paranormal - I've come across some vampires who do not - that startles me but I guess it's not unusual, although most of the vampires I've met dreamwalk and have some psychic abilities.
What i think many don't understand is that there are kindred running around the place, spouting out the names of covens they found in a book when they don't realize that there are real covens who have really existed for many hundred years. Who have the family blood lines and accumulated wealth to prove it. In these houses, which are constantly persecutied from the vatican (where blood exchange initiation originally came from), you might find and elder with the ability to turn humes. Just because your a psi or blood who stouts a fancy name from a DnD book dosn't mean you know whats going on.
So in appropriate answer, blood exchange dose nothing to a hume in most cases, and from vamp to vamp it tends to be a erotic fetish.
Thanks SirSpyderOne for the clarification and the info. It is so true that many who have been blood-vamps for years are short on the answers. I have found most of the vampire websites extremely frustrating - people fall under the spell of rpg's or the spell of the Courts in NYC (the Black Veil and certain unwavering beliefs). I try to stay openminded so I can learn. Because of my experiences with the paranormal, I wouldn't discount anyone else's experience (usually).
You said a blood exchange wouldn't usually do anything to the nonvampire. So, in your experience and others you know, nothing normally happens? Couldn't it be a mechanism for awakening (that's if you believe in awakening of course)?
Vamps are vamps from birth. manytimes they don't know what they are, and there is hunger for energy. So those who are unaware try to fill that hunger unsuccessfully. So if and when a blood exchange happens, and they realize that the thirst they've had is quenched, directly, then they would seek out energy, from blood again. So in that sense yes it could trigger an awakening, but they've been a vamp all along, and have been taking energy in small incraments from others all their life. They've just switched from Regular to Super Premium. If they were tought how to directly take from others psi energy then could exist that way too. But blood because of its intensity is very addictive. Why second hand smoke when your used to the real thing.
BaAaAgh!
Have you turned someone Vampiro?
What Anne Rice novel did you learn how to do it from?
LordVampiro never said he has turned anyone. Even if he has, he probably through that statement out there to fuel the fire...ha ha
Yes I have. I dont care who does or doesnt believe what I'm about to say. After we exchanged blood, there was a strong connection, mind & body, like without even talking we could have a short convosation and know exactly what we both were thinking, or if she is hurting no matter where she is I can feel she's in pain. We even share dreams sometimes specially if we are sleep near each other. There are many other changes we both notice also.
Your soul mates, but do you know for sure that the person your turned wasn't already a vamp?
well.....uhh I don't think she was lol. Hmmm she did act like one, she had some strong cravings for biting me mostly during sex lol. Anyway...
Yes I believe we are soulmates but I also believe the exchange made our connection so much stronger. I could feel her becoming apart of me, she says the same thing. We felt like we had became one, like our souls united. It's hard to put it in words. I'm sure once i tell her to check out this post she'll explain it better. She's good at putting thoughts & feelings into meaningful words.
Now this is what i hear allot from vamps who share blood. I also hear this from humes who have really good sex, lol. So if there are connections made with the sharing of blood between vamps maybe. I know for a fact that to actually turn a hume into a vamp is a huge deal. If done correctly the hume inquestion is sick for many days, this is what happens when your phsiology is undergoing mutation. I have also hear stories about humes on the edge of death being turned by recieving large transfusions from a single vamp, but I'm talking LARGE transfusions, the kind that would almost bring the doner to death, and if i remember the story right it did. But thats just that a story i heard from someone.
SirSpyderOne, i have simply answered the question, not stated, nor will i ever to you if i have turned someone or not. one should not presume one is fake if one does not know! i do not need to read anne rice novels to know about vampyres
I've said too much as it is. If you know then you know. These masquearde players who fain reality are making me ill though. I appologise for my outburst
And BTW i commend you for staying away from ann rice.
i agree with you on that. i have a passionate despise for RPGers. they dont even know the difference between RP and reality anymore and that is really sad.
i do appologise if i sounded a bit harsh. no offence was meant
I've shared my blood with one person and he did share his with me... but the after effects weren't that great.. instead of growing closer together we grew farther apart and now we don't even talk to each other anymore... Glad to know he wasn't the one. That would have been a waste of my life.
First and foremost I don’t believe I have ever shared an experience with anyone else but my wife. When I was introduced to it I was overjoyed because I have so deeply desired to share in that union with her. For me, I thought it wouldn’t effect me at first because I didn’t quite know, the logistics of it all, but I was mistaken. I did go through some changes mostly withdrawal I think. I craved her all the time. It started to drive me a little insane I must say. I soon learned to control it a little bit better.
When we came together and offered ourselves to one another we became one. I feel what she feels whether it be bad, happiness, or pain. I even experience her sickness. It could possibly mean that we are so n-sync with each other mentally that it effects us both, but I believe the union we share cause this to happen and I have no regrets.
Well I’m glad to say that the second person I shared with was the one (Natalia my beautiful wife). Like I said the bond we share is so amazing and stronger now. Lol I told you guys she would explain it better then I could and if you read above you’ll see she sure did lol.
*sigh* she’s so damn smart lol that’s a bad thing sometimes.
I've never do a blood exchange, but I love to suck MY blood myself, since a long time... It's delicious, I drink ever my blood when I'm blessed ! :) ( That's right, not fiction ! LOL )
When I said some might do it I was thinking of:
Someone who sucks blood from someone and the other one does the same. Not that they are complitly drained etc..that's what is fiction!!!!
Im much rather mix a bit or drink it, a I really dont see how an actual exchange could be beneficial for me.
I will reiterate that I've never played any rpg and it's been years since I read some of the Anne Rice novels. I will ask lots of questions because my curiosity and desire for knowledge knows no bounds.
Never have drinking blood before and dont have the disire to. there is so many disese out there and i dont want to be apart of that circle. Now if i was with someone for like say 5 yrs and we were married then maybe lol.
i wuld do a blood exchange but id have to know them for a while first
lol Please at least know the person, and of course get tested first!
yes i have and i also drink bout a pint every too days and i dont get sick, but then i am ammune to a lot of things
Blood Exchange Happens Alot More Than You Realize....It Happens With Every single living organism..as to the human aspect of it...If you exchange Blood with another human it makes you more in tune with their emotions and their feelings... if a blood exchange happens with a person of the opposite sex that you care about very deeply it makes you even more aware of their emotions and feelings...Contrary to popular belif..its happend to me....Ive been more intune with my emotions and feelings and my signifacnt other....it just all depends if you choose to do it
Hey Lycian,
No, I don't mean with tubes, although I've heard of that in some initiations (into certain houses; the blood is often laced with cocaine so that one will develop a blood lust). A blood exchange is "usually" made via a cut from a razor blade or a claw.
See that doesn't make sense to me, relying on a human urge because you can't feel the disire enough yourself. Seems sort of pointless.
Hi Morrigon,
I can see your point. And why do some vampire houses lace the blood with cocaine, etc? That could be about control...very likely. Many of the houses out there, that is the councils, are desirous of power and control. I had one interested in me awhile back for several reasons: one, I'm a powerful psychic, and two, they liked my creativity. Vampires are often drawn to creative people, people who are different. That's just fine and dandy, but they had no interest in my personal growth or the desire I have for knowledge - they wanted to claim me as theirs though - no, thanks. I did feel some connection with them however.
the only blood exchange I have done has been between my lover, Nicholas and myself. It's a highly sexual, passionate, powerful feeling that both of us get from it. I don't believe that I'd be able to do a blood exchange with anyone else, unless I were to feel the same/similar feelings for Nick as with them.
seeing as you have asked for a different answer than the one you recieve from me previously- here's the answer to your question. I have, before my exchange of blood with Nick, craved my own blood, so believed myself to be a vampire. Prior to our exchange, he didn't seem to have any interest in it, until one day, he asked me if I'd like to. When he did, I was exstatic, and wanted to make sure he really wanted too. when he was confident in his decision, we exchanged blood. It was difficult to cut eachother initially, but after we had done it, it had become easier because we knew that the feeling of rapture greatly overcame the pain. So I believe I may have created a fellow vampire.
I have done blood exchange to an extent... its quit exhilarating
Nope completely un-true, i've done it many times, its wrong, nothing happens
i have done it once... it was indeed exciting... but i was high at the time too... so yea *rubs head in confusion*
I drank the blood of a fellow vampire a few times and the fellow vampire drank my blood as well.Nothing really special happened
...ve never done yet...but i love livking my own blood...it tastes so delicious...
I have drank other peoples blood..And other people have drank my blood...But nothing supernatural happened
I feel my blood is too unique, I don't want it running in anyone else's viens.
with me it gave me a link to the person I can hear her even if she is out of the US
he was no vampyre but a vampire which was a human that was turned
I have never done this and I don't think I will. I would be afraid of the problems from exhanging blood. Especially since they may not have the same blood type as I do.
I have heard it can be dangerous (AIDS and blood-borne diseases aside). But I don't know if that idea is based on myth. There are many, many people who have claimed to have been turned and have not suffered any illness, etc. I've heard it's an enzyme in the vampires blood that turns a person.
the only way you can get AIDS is if one of you has it to begain with
That's why it would be imperative to have donor and vampire both tested...
