I was wondering if any of you are familliar with this book by Konstantinos.
If so, what did you think of it? I might be buying it...
it was ok.. it wans't that great but not that of a bored it was good get it!!!...
and find out.. lol.
i am evil.....
It sounding at the least interesting, and I haven't seen much in the way of nighttime magic books - the Barnes & Nobles that we go to isn't very up-to-speed. Took the seven extra months to get a book I wanted in...... And their "New Age" section isn't very big.
I am I have 3 of his books I have Gothic Grimoire, Nocturnal Witchcraft, and I also have Vampires The Occult Truth. I'm still looking for Summoning Spirits. but back what i was saying all 3 are really good. I like them
yea i have Nocturnal Witchcraft it was good get that one...
Gothic Grimoire is good, but get Nocturnal Witchcraft first. The Grimoire is basically a BOS, and it's usefulness is limited without the other book.
nope havn herd of it, well im not much of a readr either so yea..
NO I haven;t... I knwo I can always Google this, but would those who have read it like to tell us a bit about it? As I like to hear reviews rather than descriptions...
i haven't read it but his book nocturnal witchcraft was very good
They all sound very interesting. I'll have 2 check into them soon.
Like Noir said, read Nocturnal Witchcraft first.
It is based about dark magic, and Gothic Grimoire is more advanced.
I find Kostantinos an eccelent writer and I want all his books!
all of his books are good for someone just getting into the dark arts
I have Gothic Grimoire and Nocturnal Witchcraft, along with Vampires: The occult truth. All 3 are pretty good.
Read Nocturnal Witchcraft first, before you get Gothic Grimore, so you don't get lost on some subjects.
Will some one please tell us a bit more, instead of "its good"?
Nocturnal Witchcraft is set up like the rest of Llewellyn's do it yourself, become a witch, books. Instead of being YAFBP book this one is geared more towards those that have strayed from the light. It talks about drawing power from the night and his own particular ideas about how to maintain the overall feel of traditional witchcraft/wicca. A foundation of basic wiccan principles is helpful.
Gothic Grimoire is the companion volume and is set up as a BOS with additional information about nocturnal pathworking. It is difficult to use without prior knowledge of either Nocturnal Witchcraft, or real time personal experience of several years of multi-path, in the trenches, work.
Niether book is for beginners. Niether book contains much in the way of the basics beginners need and in fact the Grimoire would leave the typical beginner totally lost. These are books I recommend to people that have completed study with the following books:
The Witches' Bible, Janet and Stewart Farrar
~or~
Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft, Raymond Buckland
~and~
To Ride a Silver Broomstick, Silver RavenWolf
~or~
Wicca: A Guide for the Soliary Practitioner, Scott Cunningham
~and~
Living Wicca, Scott Cunningham
~and~
Witchcraft for Tommorow, Doreen Valiente
Any of those sets of books, if approached studiously, would provide enough of a foundation to take full advantage of the contents of Nocturnal Witchcraft. Obviously it is a very abbreviated list, and there are possible substitutions, I merely post them as a suggestion.
havnt ever herd of it im not that much aof a reader but if i find it i will read it
We just bought Noctornal Witchcraft AND Gothic Grimoire, and we have Noctornicon.
Gah, I can't spell today. *sniffs*
lovely books....make sure that you start from nocturnal witchcraft and take it easy
You might wanna follow up with summoning sprits after those...another interesting book by kostantinos
I agree with CygnusNoir. As most know, Grimoire is another word for Book Of Shadows. You will get lost if you dont know how to use dark magicks.
Read sections of it and I recommend it very much, along with his other books, he's a very good writer
I have all of his books and I find him to be a very talented writer. His books are both informitive and easy to read. I say buy the book amoung his other ones.
damn straight.....And he also doesn't try to manipulate you like most writers do
