Okay, it is to my understanding that gaurdians are protecters..An angel is a gaurdian protecting whoever they are to protect, a parent is a gaurdian(supposably protecting their children...So demons can be gaurdians too, protecting their dark master, right?
A friend of mine wanted to know and I think I am right, but not sure, can you help me out?
Well, in some beliefs the term gaurdian is something for angels and God. So, pretty much demons are gaurdians but maybe with a different name. But gaurdian is just a title, though. It doesn't really mean that they protect others. Maybe they do but......well I don't really know I'm just talking what I think it is.
i dont see why not, dunno if they are called guardians but its the best way to describe them i suppose
I believe anyone or anything can be an gaurdian even if they just protecting an animal, secret...ect.
i agree with nightstalkervamp on this one ....
and idont think there is any other name...
i do not know but that is what i call them, couse that is what they do they protect me. and i am have trouble finding info on demonalagy. but thank you all for your
comment. yes she was asking for me.
Thank you all for your help! I appreciate it..And I am sure that my friend does too.
I believe that evil has its guardians just as good does. The difference is that good guardians do it for the good of it, and the vile guardians do it for some sort of reward at the end.
i dont see why demons cant be guardians but i wouldnt know of a different name for them
mmm also evil guardians might just not do it for the reward but because they've been told to do it or die....
So more of a slave guardian then a true guardian.
there should be a choice, if they want to then they will do a good job, if not they dont try or anything of the sort.
guardians dont exist to me and i dont excatly believ in angels (damn that word).
Well, there's a different title between gaurdians and bodygaurds right? They're the same but they DO have a couple of differences.
I do not understand how, other than one is paid and the other is not..
In response to ... do demons have other titles...
Species of Demons, as Described by Alphonse de Spina (1467)
Fates, who alter destiny
Poltergeists, who cause mischief
Incubi and Succubi, who stimulate lust and perversion
Marching Hordes, who bring about war
Familiars, who assist witches
Nightmares, who disturb sleep through bad dreams
Demons formed from Human Semen
Disguised Demons
Demons who Assail the Saintly
Demons who Instigate Witchcraft
.... I study demons and never have I known them to be nor have I heard another reffer to them as "guardians" They do have many different titles/names, and they also have different adgendas. Not nesicarily to "protect" but mainly just to maim, kill, convert, ect. Hope this helps!
In my personal experience, which is not fact but opinion... demons are too fickle to be guardians... a guardian has to care about what it's protecting as much as it does itself, if not more...
Demons, even those forced into service, are always thinking of themselves. Considering ways to turn the situation to themselves.
Even when they are CREATED for their master's uses they still tend to be hard to control, a little loose tempered and more than a little distracted...
The only way that a demon will even fathom obeying another (especially another demon) is if the other is powerful enough to literally rip off the smug smile of impending betrayal off the demon's face as painfully as possible.
Demons dont attack demons, most of them are related in some way or another. They do on the other hand, command minions. (Their 'under grads) A common demon commands about 30 legions of 'minions' one legion = about 6000 so 30 legions is 180,000 under- demons.
very true, as quite often you will find that X demon from the Goetia commands X number of legions.
Yes within the last days of the Earth the son of Satin is supposedly to be born amongst mankind. He would be watched over and protected by demons and spirits of course until born and as an infant until he could protect himself....supposedly as a teenager...
Lilyrose, I agree. Abbsinthe could you tell me where you got that last bit of info? Not that it isn't true I would just like to read up on it myself.
Umm... well I read a lot of books on demons... Like I said been studying them for about 11 years but There is a demonic encyclopedia on the net... It really doesnt have a lot for info but there is a little bit.

Gimme a day or so to clean up my faves list and I'll get you some more k?
I dont see why not... in a sence a demon could be a guardian of the other side of our personalities...
It is my opinion that reguardless of good or evil, light or dark, if there is a person or spirit or whatever that watches over a person or persons, they could be considered a guardian.
If your spirit is demonic then yes you'd be gaurded by a demon, just as if your spirit is angelic you'd be guarded by the angel, also goes if a friends spirit is demonic and wants to give you protection. Then it can also happen if one has some sort of power over a demon, and thus ask it to protect you.. not advisable at most of the times, but its up to choice..
I believe in guardian spirts wether it is good or evil they both have a purpose. We all have a bit of both good and evil can see that it just sometimes a person embraces one more than the other and that is when ya open the way for either of these forces.
from what i have seen and learned, "guardians" dont always protect..some are good and some are just plain mean little boogers who sit back and laugh at you
Hmm a demon guardian...sounds a little strange to me o.O
