why there isn't anything on modern vampirism if so why one that wants to become a real vampire must follow simple directions from someone who don't anything on real vampires if they nvere seen them

just think there alot of real vampires in the world and only maybe ten percent lives in the united states

Oh and you dont become a vampire, you are born one. Or you can be lead the life style, but either you are a vampire or not, there is no becoming a real vampire.

I agree with Lestat on many of his points especially that vampires are born or a chosen life style. I dont think we understand what it is youre trying to convay.

i read a book three years ago and it said that there are many way of becomin a vampire drinking blood or if you die and a black cat cross your grave at the strike of midnight you will awake as a vampire or if you are the seventh child

pw, that was a book, are you really going to base your entire outlook on vampires by a fictional book? that book was about mythical vampires, not real ones. want a good read, read Anne rice, or Bram Stoker, those are the types of vampires that book is talking about. not real ones.

Just one book doesn't answer all the questions and from what you said this was a fictional one.

OMG how about this, why don't everyone who think they are myth stand up and yell into a giant mic and say I AM A VAMPIRE.... LOL sorry but moderen Vampirism is the same as everything else, it is a velief a lifestyle, I have yet to meet someone who was born in say 1744 and look like they are 28. of course this is just my oppion!

Ghostwitch-I would suggest reading more into what a real vampire is, not the myth, the real thing before you start thinking that all vampires are are those myths. they are real, but not like the books or movies.

I know what the difference is , trust me when I say this. what I am saying is that people tend to take things to far, and this is one of those things. Of course there are real Vampires in the world, but are they what some people think they are.... of course not. I me lets be real here for a min. I myself can not fly, I do not need to drink blood to survive, I can go out into the sunlight and not melt away.. so many people want the myth, and what I am saying is that it is just that a myth, if that is what people want other people to believe, then I ask this, what do you want other none vampire to think?

You cannot base your knowledge of vampires on just books and movies and asking people you have to learn it from others and experiences and it's not just in the big cities like lycian said it can be anywhere what he said was just from a book or a movie. it's not like they are easy to find

Hollywood a books of fiction have made this seem like somthing real " if you become a Vampire you gain imortality!" well wanting to become a vampire is a good thing but my question is why/ Is it because if hollywood and really good authers of fiction? or is it becaise you have thirst for knowledge that can not be quinched by moderen socity? (sorry for the spelling) Once we can get past the acts of fiction and get onto the realaity of who and what vampires are, then and only then will the truth be out. Yes we have been around for thousands of years, but not in the way we are seen on the big screen or in novels by authers such as Ann Rice. If you want to learn and live the lifestyle I would sugest doing more research, and talking to peopl but try to aviod those who think they live the myth or hollywood vampire life.

If you want to travel, go travel, you dont need to be a vampire to do that. And if you wanted immortality, you would be spending all your days in mourning over deaths. That is if your not like me where i dont really care that much about it...

Yo PW read the anne rice books in order and then read the steven kings ones that might give ya a better outlook on things man those are like the 2 best sets on vampires that i know cause my mom owns both the sets on the vampire stories from stephen king and anne rice

Ignorance is truly bliss I see. It is still hard for me to believe that there are people out there that believe that you can "become" a vampire by drinking blood and so forth. So much of what people believe a vampire to be is based apon hollywood and myth.

because since no one can prove that their real no one can keep an evelutionary chart on them...

plus vampires as a general rule live on a longer life span than humans... and thus it would be difficult for humans to be able to keep up with even one vampire.

If real vampires are immortal why do they all have to hold bullshit jobs and pay the mortgage till they "die"?

vampirism was directed from a disease that happend way back in the day, and that disease is not around anymore, therefore, there is no "modern vampirism" accept what u c in goth clubs...that's as real as it gets now.......too bad....

i have learned one thing never say never....as soon as you say something dosent exsist you discover it is very real....all we can do now is assume modern vampirism is real or fake...It may be a subject humans can ever answer.....
