Looking for different Vampiric Bloodlines... alternative to those in the World of Darkness Games...
Vampirism is not about a game, it is real life my friend. I am sure you will get many comments stating something similar.

Even so I am merely using the game's mechanics to explain what I'm searching for.
Ahh, in that case I hope you find whatever it is you are looking for.
I am aware of the bloodline of a certain Lord (count) Drachonin (similar in birthright to Vlad Dracul but living far from romania)

there is many bloodline, some are pure bloodline as both descending from both parents of a bloddline, but most of those are from part a pure bloodline and a non bloodline related, I know some bloodline are from australia, yes australia, and they are both related to a vampire and a shamman, I dont remeber the exact name, I jsut know I came across it in my research, and it did suprise me
I don't really believe in "Vampire Bloodlines" pure race , that stuff . But I do believe they were families that practiced it and lived the lifestyle . Vampirism is not a game . A lot of people have failled to realize that . Its is a lifestyle of eterenal love and a passion .
Vampirism is definatly not a game, bloodlines are familiy history is out there. whether it real hisatory of the people who practiced it or myth. pure blood or not. we are what we are.
I begin to think that before anyone posts a question on vampires, they should tell us what they believe a vampire is.....so many perceptions.
For what it's worth I don't think there are bloodlines as such apart from fiction.
if you are referring to a game then you have the wrong place to ask. if you are referring to the real thing then i feel it has to deal with just the family history
I am referring to the idea of different sub-species of vampire withing the species Vampire.
i would say that the most common line is carpathian because there are so many running around us that we havent been able to see clearly who or what we are related to
I really can't speak to the sub-species portion of the question, but as to "bloodlines" I have something to add.
There are, as I have personally observed (and met) several "traditions" of vampyric teaching, lines of initiation just as one finds in pagan and magickal sects, within the vampire community. Some of them still practice (even if only symbolically) the ritual of the Embrace as an induction into their group. Each group has their own set of teachings, philosophies, and practices that make them unique. So in a way this may follow along your line of thinking. Bloodline by rite of Initiation...
Honestly- do you really, in your heart of hearts, think their are any?
honestly, look back in history. there are two known people who actually drank blood. Vlad Dracul, and Elizabeth Bathory. From here you can start your search. Good luck finding a real vampire tho.
i believe that all vampires(real vampires) cary the same bloodline but if you are speaking of (rpg games) there are many different linages.
Bloodlines, thats an interesting idea.
I Don't personally believe that there are bloodlines I do however believe its possible.
If there is a bloodline it is only one.
Honestly? In my heart? Yes,I believe it is quite possible they really exsist. But as I have stated before in other threads,I feel the origin would be a little bit more scientific ,as opposed other reasons. As with any living creature on this planet,it is not only possible that there are subspecies that have developed thruout the centuries, but probable. It isnt hard to see how this happens and it is really just a product of evoloution.Everything else evolves, whats to stop the Vampire breed from doing the same? And these "abilities" that Vampires have? I would even think that they too are a product of evoloution process and has developed over thousands of years.Turned from a bite?Which incidently, could trigger an awakening by enzymes or other micros that are passed into another's body through saliva and the result of the sharing of blood, which in turn, triggers a latent gene. But for it all to be purely brought on by passion or will or whatever?Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but me? I do not think so.JMHO.
The only bloodlines I've really thought about were from "sire" to "whelp" (or whatever term you prefer to use). Of course in theory that'd mean all vampires are related (unless the first vampires were not related). I'm using the term 'related' loosely as for exchanging blood.
As far as I know all Vamps are related, grant it there may be different Houses and stuff yet I do believe they all have come from one original so therefore they are all related in some way or anther. just an opinion.
i have heard count dracula is the oldest in the bloodline
There is no blood line as only having a baby can make a line. Vampire's can't have a line. Think about it.
well what came first hun the chiken or the egg?
same question can be applied here, see to make a vamp you need to feed, drain, and then feed with your own blood, as far as a i know, and that means no actual blood line from birth but from "death" on is that what you meant?
by the way i dont believe there have ever been any REAL vampires, just those slightly demented beings who got a kick outa taking a nip from strangers :)
Firstly, let me say...the egg came first. Evolution shows that any genetic traits that lead to the next stage of evolution are passed on to the young. Ergo, The last proto-chicken would have laid the egg that gave birth to the chicken. So that settles that.
Secondly, for the people who are so certain of the existence of vampires...met one? Are one? Proof! Proof is delicious. Anything else IS RP.
And, to tie the two topics together...even supernatual creatures possess the occasional mutation, both of spirit and of body, so differing bloodlines is not only possible, but very likely.
What the "oh-so-kind" man above me said, in a rather tactless way, is that the common person, like myself, has not seen sufficient evidence to prove the existence of what most of us believe to be a sanguine vampire. I do not believe, however, that the existence of said beings is impossible, or even unlikely.
Well, that's my two cents.
I just rated your profile, Kage, about five minutes ago. That's creepy.
And I never claimed to be kind, or tactful. I find these things get in the way of truth.
And a point I would like to make...while I have never, not once, seen evidence that proves that vampires exist...I have never seen incontrovertible proof that absolutely denies the existence of supernatural creatures. So there's that, at least.
i dont know if any of you have seen the movie "Queen of the dammed" i do know that vampire have a bloodline just like the rest of us. we can not pretend that they are not wrothly have have shuch a thing because they are human after all. vampire can have children so yes they do have a bloodline.
I think that Vampires have different bloodlines, as we so as the human race.
I do not think it is possible to find a true vampires bloodline, You would have to know a true vampire to start your research and i do not think their are any known vampires, unless you mean blood drinkers bloodlines then their are many of thoes...
I read all the posts and...about all this thing to say...well :
1. if vampires can't have children, they could have bloodline, 'coz embracing human makes the human part of the chain, co called bloodline
2. if vampires can have children, which in my personal opinion is bullsh*t, that would be a bloodlines
but recently I read so many stuff bout vampires that I have to say that I don't really know if I believe in that bloodsucking vampires, except the energetic ones ...
i'm not sure if they can have kids or not but they might be able to
