Best series of books I'v read are, hands down, "The Kingkiller Chronicles" - the first and second books in the series are "The Name of the Wind" and "The Wise Man's Fear", respectively.

My favourite singular book is "The Shadow of the Wind", by a Spanish author, Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

I have a bunch but here's a few

J.D. Robb's Eve Dallas series murder mysteries

Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake series

Christine Feehan's Carpathian Vampire Series and the Drake Sister Witch series.

Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series

Kerrilyn Sparks' Love At Stake series

and several others too.

My budget for books is bigger than for clothing.

I've seen a couple of people on this thread that has read pretty much exactly what I have read.

I would have to say that I love the Anita Blake series also.

LOTR and anything related to Tolkien, David Eddings, J.K. Rowling, Richard Laymon & Iain Banks.

Hate makiking lists because I've left so many great writers out. As of now this is what i'm enjoying. (If I made a complete list this post would go on forevere lol).
