In Existere, we have a lil thing called "Mark Of The Cadre".. its kinda like a Masters mark, but it comes from the Assistant Coven Masters, and isnt a feature of VR, and doesnt benefit your level like being marked by a CM or HM (dangit lol) . the mark i give out, is my favorite white owl, inside a glass globe (affectionately known within Existere, as KK Hooters O.~)...
Teradin, has awarded me her mark, a beautiful lantern. She is such a wonderful person, i am honored to receive her lantern, and touched by her words. I luff her !!.
Here, is the lantern and its story, and Teradins sweet words to me ....
I give to you a light within the darkness. There is nothing more brilliant then a single light when you are within a dark place. Be it mood, emotions, thoughts, or a situations... A single light can be the most profound of things. It can be a source for hope, for warmth, for peace of mind, a beacon to light the way or even something as simple as a light to push away the darkness.
Life is hard and what we do with it defines who we are, this is my belief and I have not found anything to dissuade me from that train of thought.
And now for a little note on this image. This lantern hangs upon a Shepherd's hook in my front yard. I place candles in it when I wish to, for many reasons. I have many lanterns, from small to large, and ones I have made myself. This is one that I happened upon in a store and bought because it caught my eye. It is several years old now and it has signs of age, that suit me and my character. It is a copper lantern and provides a great measure of comfort to me for personal reasons.
I digress... I stepped out of my home one night to find that rain had turned to snow and formed a brilliant blizzard. The tree near the lantern had crystallized and iced over on its branches, it was enchanting. I placed a candle in the lantern, during this blizzard and set it a lite... A few hours later the snow stopped and I went outside again and here is the image that I saw, to me it was breath taking. I had finally found the image that I wanted to share with all of you here...My personal Mark.
The snowy ground has been removed to leave just the lantern and its light for you. I hope to be able to bestow this light within the darkness to you all at some point.
So I give to you this single measure of lanterns light to let you know that I find value in you for my own reasons.

KK This lights for you.
Your path has not been an easy one and sometimes you have thought of giving up. With shaking hands and trembling lips you saw a point when you had to say enough was enough. You have walked in shoes that no other can fill and left your footprints within the proverbial sands of time.
So to you I give this light.. in friendship.
