Pat and I have been assimilated.
We are now part of a a collective of five. Veronica (one of one) has been showing Pat (four of five) and me (five of five) our new duties.
Four of five has taken to drink ( pint and a half of cider last night ) and five of five is terribly confused.
However I'm sure it will be fine in a week or two.
Some people are not going to be happy as they have finally been brought to book re dumping their work on us. Only took six years for someone to take notice.
Sticky labels seem to play a big part of my job now, dunno if I can cope with the responsibility, time will tell :)
Ohhhh heatwave. Windows open, curtains closed and I'm nakey....tmi ? :)
Had to deal with the lady ( and I use that word lightly ) whose job it is to sort out any problems with the building on Friday.
There I was beavering away in Pats oven of an office when up she came and told me with a wag of a finger no less that the fire doors needed to be closed.
It was the finger wag that did it. Pushed me over the edge. I got my finger and did a wag back, told her the doors would be closed as soon as she sorted out the air flow problem, and if she did'nt open the door I would be going home.
Our eyes locked...a Mexican stand off. Then she came back with a brillint observation..." the problem is, you have no windows".
No shit Sherlock.
The door was opened.

Haha! it sooo difficult to imagine you getting tough, but when you do you must scare the bejesus out of people! Btw, I loved the heatwave..
Drone....drone .....drone, still I guess it's better than moan, moan, moan. His voice is making me feel very sleepy zzzzzzzz.

Just roll him over. lol
Didn't think you could hear my voice. Dam!
I get that way during Church sermons or lectures ...
Well... damn
The guy on the radio said that 11.18am on a Monday morning is the most depressing time of the working week.
I'm keeping my eye on the clock and let ya know.
Thank goodness the tv stations came back just before bedtime.
Phil was a real pain, decided it was time to set up my new hub from BT. I knew it was a mistake :)
Long story short, the hub works fine and is sending out a signal, Colin just does'nt want to know. The key does not work.
On the good news front, I'm feeling alot better.

Old pc's just don't like change!!
Glad you're feeling better thou.
There needs to be a little web cam inside your house...we'd love to see what goes on, Phil and Colin...lol
All this up and downing every five mins is starting to get on my nerves, I feel like being mean to someone....but nobody seems to be around.
Kipper is nervous.
I've been sitting down too much, now my back is jippy.
So, the plan for today is move a bit, sit a bit.
Saw Phil for the first time in a few days last night, did'nt want him to come round in case he got my bug.
He is a funny old stick, seemed underwhelmed to see me, but as he did'nt have any ironing to do he thought he'd come over. I just love it when friends do that :)
Oh my poor tired eyes, I just read that Bones has super VR powers....able to clear the vamp box with a single dick....neat trick :)

Huh?
Bones? Dick? what did I miss?? Dammit! I'm never here when all the good stuff happens.
It's your mind playing tricks on you because you need sex!
:P
oh snap!
Clearing a Vamp box With one Single dick ..... this I have got to see.
Heck I'll line up to see this happen.
Yay....the little rascall done come back !
Just the kind of news I needed, been sick for a couple of days, not going into work till Monday, feeling blah, then that naughty face greeted me when I came online.....I am officially one happy bunny :)
I'm not quite sure who is in charge of the Uk at this time, but whoever it is, good luck.
Worn out all the "hanging is too good for em" jokes.
Time flies, soon be Monday and who was the bright spark that turned Winter back on ? Not that I mind I love to be all warm and snug indoors when it's cold out.
Only a minor skirmish or two on the march, twelve arrests so all in all not too bad at all.
Cold and rainy, so I'm going to watch the Canterville Ghost, love that film, and pretty well chill for the entire day.
After a good nights sleep I felt much better, ready to take on the world, yep, restored to my strereotypical fat, jolly self :)
Phil took me to a different supermarket to do my shopping, worked well, he went to have a coffee in the in-store cafe while I did the shop.
We were done and home by 10.15 and he is going to pay my bills for me on Tuesday.
The rest of my long week-end is my own, ohh I'm gonna enjoy it.
The storm clouds are gathering, sky is black, only one hour before the march starts and those sad acts get a drenching.
Life is good.
