As a ghost myself I try to help where I can, but we ghost are a rarer lot then people think, all those misconstrued ghost really put pressure on us real ghost to perform some real trivial task.. I mean that is all a waste of energy, and timing. Not easy to do, considering we must commute across the veil, and then save enough energy to first avoid detection, and second perform.

you know, i've never heard of this....i do believe in demon posession as i have seen it and performed an excorcism of my own upon a building.



i highly doubt that there are mediums going around out in the big wide world that are hooking people and luring them into posession.

I have just had an interesting exchange, a believer of religion (universal church) asked me a question about my skeptic nature, once I said



"Religion presents metaphor as reality, and suffers the dementia resulting from that blurring of the lines."



She went ballistic, "How dare I call spiritual people delusional.'



I cleared up for her that I said nothing regarding spiritual people, but that spiritual people are subject to the same excess of metaphor.



She felt I was a cynic, if she had listened she would have heard the fact that I have accepted what she believes, as a metaphor. How dare she expect me to consider her ultimatum in place of my accepted understanding.



I then talked with a person that mentioned, most people who are gung ho about their religion are very pushy with theirs, but cannot tolerate the disbelief of others. like we are not only a challenge for them to convert, or stump. We are the enemy.

once we accept the beliefs of others, it is assured that the only thing they will be likely to talk about is exactly what they believe. I don't see myself returning to that.

i think the difficulties are symptomatic of this site & the people who are drawn to it, in general. There's diversity of opinion with regard to how people identify as vampires. I'm not sure where I fall in that spectrum. Probably closer to the "I just like vampires" end of it. I don't relate well to those who actually think they're vampires.
