The good mojo helped. I have been promoted for the 2nd time in the 5 months I’ve been working for this company, but now I’m no longer clocking in and clocking out, I am a salaried employee! I’m really excited… I’ve been a salaried employee before, but… I have not had a full-time job in a long time so I needed to start from the ground up. I am on my way to making even bigger dreams come true.

I am so incredibly tired. I've been prepping this place for my son and his fiance to move in- and we still have this one totaled bathroom that needs to be repaired from the storm.

Send me all your good mojo. I have things I am working on. Also doing a little self-medicating via vape with Delta-8. It's the best I can do in Louisiana legally. And it is helping with anxiety.

okay- things aren't complete shit... I still have my job. Climbing out of a hole again due to 'on the road' expenses and missing a few days of work and stuff. But... I still have that job. My son's home (a rental) is a total loss and they have to move in here for who knows how long.

I just got home from being on evacuation from New Orleans due to Hurricane Ida. We didn't have electricity since August 28th, and the ceiling from the upstairs bathroom crashed in. It's full of debris in there and we can't open the door. Had to come home though, nowhere else to go. We have another bathroom we can be using until military housing fixes this one.

Things are shit, but I am just looking forward to sleeping in my own bed after all this time.
