I was totally playing with my VR headset before. (Virtual Reality not VampireRave..LOL). So anyway I been putting off buying a game for so long that I finally decided to get it. The game is Called Beat Saber. You hold these lightsaber looking things in both your hands and you hit blocks that come at you. It sounds easy, I know...LOL. They come at you at different heights and depending on the difficulty at different speeds. All of this is done to a song that you choose. You can use their songs or you can download your own custom songs. Not only was it fun but it was totally an excellent workout....Can't wait to play again...LOL
LOL...OMG I totally love the Yeti more than Bonnie even...it all worked out for me in the end....LOLOL...
Trying to pick a new theme...

It's not as easy as it sounds. I totally ran out of ideas for a theme. I did a Bram Stoker's Dracula theme but decided to do away with that. I really have no idea what would be an awesome theme to do. On my 50 plus accounts over the years I did every movie and TV series that I love. Sometimes I can't find the right images for the theme so I decide not to do it....but other times I just don't like the way it looks so I scratch it I hope I think of something new to do this way I have a new project...lol
It's amazing how the little things can bring you back to a better time. Like a certain aroma or certain sounds.....In my case it was hearing her voice once again. We met long ago here on VR. Back when VampireRave had groups for the sci-fi and power punks sections. I used to love hanging out in those sections and it just so happened that Daize and I were in the same group. That's where we first started talking around 8 years ago....hearing her voice again opened the flood gate to my emotions and brought everything back to the surface. Like I totally realized what a special woman she truly is :)
.....I missed talking to someone until I started talking with them again. I lost touch with someone about a year ago. You know how it is, people get busy with IRL problems and other stuff that you lose touch with them. Well anyway while working on my profile I got a message out of the blue from her. I had no idea she was even back and the funny thing about it all was that once we started talking we didn't miss a beat. It's like a year didn't pass and that we were talking every single day. I totally miss her and I will do everything in my power to never lose touch again....Totally love evil Bonnie....LOL...who can forget this classic...LOL
LOL...oh my gosh...LOL...I know that one last tooth is so sexy...LOL...It takes a real man to grow old and fall apart...LOL....They told me I'm not vampy enough for VR though...LOLOL....I need a hug...LOL
I always loved the song but this woman has that breathtaking kind of beauty. She always turned heads but she has that special kind of beauty that makes poets want to recite poetry about her, she makes sculptors want to sculp images of her and she makes painters want to paint and try to capture her beauty, to eternalize it :)
My only regret was that I wasn't old enough at the time to get into the clubs. 10/18 was the happening spot back then in NYC....I was only 8 or 9 at the time..
Life is so full of them little surprises....

.......that it makes me want to never go to sleep for being afraid to miss something grand. Just before I was getting hungry and decided to order pizza. I wanted something different so I ordered from this new place that opened up by me. Rumor has it that their Grandma's Sicilian pie is the best around. So I decided to order it with a two liter of diet Pepsi (because coke decided it has to white of an image now, so being I'm white I decided to move on over to Pepsi. I figured they don't need me using theiir product..LOL) and 2 orders of zeppoles (A zeppola is an Italian pastry consisting of a deep-fried dough ball of varying size but typically about 4 inches in diameter. This fritter is usually topped with powdered sugar...picture an Italian donut hole with powdered sugar on top...LOL)) Well anyway the Zeppoles were an extra and I didn't think I would care for them. As it turns out they were some of the best I have ever eaten and from a Pizzeria...who would have thought :) They were so good that it made me love life's little surprises :)
Lol, Awesome. I never knew you were Italian.....Nice!!!
So my friend got home last week after......

....doing a hard 15 years in prison. I'm not going to get into the details of his case but he did his time, kept his mouth shut and is home now. Well anyways a few nights ago he calls me at like 3 in the morning. I'm thinking something was wrong, he needed help or maybe wasn't feeling well.....No, that wasn't the case at all. He called me to tell me he saw this most awesome movie ever. I took the bait of course and asked him what Movie. He then tells me "Twilight" and starts telling me all about how awesome the flick was. He then asks if I ever saw it...I told him I caught bits and pieces of the film when it was on cable. He then tells me he just bought all the books for the kindle on Amazon...and that he ordered all the movies on Blu-ray as well. I was just shaking my head....I have no idea what my friend would find so appealing about Twilight. He was late 20's when he went to prison and was far from a teenager. Plus he was very street-wise and some of the elements in the movie are laughable....I guess you can never tell what someone will like at any given time...LOL.
The Family Corleone is a novel by Ed Falco. It is based on an unproduced screenplay of Mario Puzo and is published by Grand Central Publishing. It is the prequel to Puzo's original novel The Godfather.
The novel, set in the later days of Prohibition, tells the story of how Vito Corleone rose through the criminal underworld to become the most powerful Don in New York. Also, it tells of Sonny Corleone's inauguration into the family business and Tom Hagen's graduation from being an adopted member of the Corleone family before becoming the consigliere. The novel also reveals how Luca Brasi first became associated with the Corleones, and introduces a number of new characters, including the crime boss Giuseppe Mariposa.
New York, 1933. The city and the nation are in the depths of the Great Depression. The crime families of New York have prospered in this time, but with the coming end of Prohibition, a battle is looming that will determine which organizations will rise and which will face a violent end. For Vito Corleone, nothing is more important than his family's future. While his youngest children, Michael, Fredo, and Connie, are in school, unaware of their father's true occupation, and his adopted son Tom Hagen is a college student, he worries most about Sonny, his eldest child. Vito pushes Sonny to be a businessman, but Sonny - 17 years-old, impatient and reckless - wants something else: To follow in his father's footsteps and become a part of the real family business.
Another one of them songs that bring me back to my childhood in the 80's. I loved my childhood but I really wish I was in my late teens at the time instead of 7,8 or 9.....I would have given anything to be in the clubs back then like my older cousins...
Lol, awesome brother. Hopefully it comes back fully, not just a show here and there.
OMG, this song brings me back to 1988...

I was 9 years old and my cousin had a good 11 years on me and would often take me out to go cruising in his car with him and his girlfriend at the time. He would always wind up heading to 86th street which was a known cruising spot. Everyone had an awesome sound system in their cars and would cruise up and down 86th street all night long. Well anyway my cousin and his girlfriend had their spot and would park the car and we would all get out. They would meet up with their friends who also brought there little brothers and sisters along sometimes. Well anyway every single time this song came on the everyone would form a circle around me and egg me on to dance....They would shout go Tommy, Go Tommy...or go Tommy Giggles, because I was always laughing at that time....so they would always pump up the volume and I would dance freesty1e to this song....LOL
The Last Don is Domenico Clericuzio, a wise and ruthless old man who is determined to see his heirs established in legitimate society but whose vision is threatened when secrets from the family's past spark a vicious war between two blood cousins. The Last Don is a mesmerizing tale that takes us inside the equally corrupt worlds of the mob, the movie industry, and the casinos where beautiful actresses and ruthless hitmen are ruled by lust and violence, where sleazy producers and greedy studio heads are drunk on power, where crooked cops and desperate gamblers play dangerous games of betrayal, and where one man controls them all.
It was also made into a mini series which stared Danny Aiello and Joe Mantegna.. I included the whole series below, please enjoy :)
Not a lot of people realize there were actually 4 books in the godfather universe. They had nothing to do with the 3 movies. Godfather 2 and 3 were cash grabs, nothing more. Godfather 1 was the only one that was part of the books first published by Mario Puzo. The second book in the series was The Sicilian, which I covered already. The third book is called Omerta which is the one I'm interested in for this journal entry. There where a few more books in the Godfather universe but I'm only covering the ones written by Mario Puzo.....I will cover the other books by the other authors at a later time.
((To Don Raymonde Aprile's children he was a loyal family member, their father's adopted "nephew.” To the FBI he was a man who would rather ride his horses than do Mob business. No one knew why Aprile, the last great American Don, had adopted Astorre Viola many years before in Sicily; no one suspected how he had carefully trained him . . . and how, while the Don's children claimed respectable careers in America, Astorre Viola waited for his time to come. Now his time has arrived. The Don is dead, his murder one bloody act in a drama of ambition and deceit--from the deadly compromises made by an FBI agent to the greed of two crooked NYPD detectives and the frightening plans of a South American mob kingpin. In a collision of enemies and lovers, betrayers and loyal soldiers, Astorre Viola will claim his destiny. Because after all these years, this moment is in his blood. . . .)) Sylvester Stallone was actually making a movie or rather a TV mini series about the third book Omerta but due to some unknown reason production got shut down before it even began...
When the book is so much better than the movie.....

The book is so much better. The whole point of this was when Michael Corleone was in Sicily hiding out after killing Sollozzo and McCluskey this is what he witnessed....the rise of the bandit, Salvatore Giuliano who had very important documents that could lead to the downfall of the current Italian Government....The book is called the Sicilian and was written by Mario Puzo in case you are wondering.
There is an excerp in the book that I will always remember. It's about why the houses in Sicily were painted specific colors...that centuries ago the normans had painted their houses white, the greeks always used blue the arabs various pinks and red and the jewish used yellow....So Sicily was not only conquered by the Normans, the Arabs and the Greeks in ancient times but was also a place of refuge for quite a few races.....in my case the house would be painted blue...LOL
....but out of all the vampire, werewolves, mummy, dragon, Samurai, Roman, Jedi themes the one that suits me most is the Gangster theme....People ask me, "Hey Tommy Luv are you connected" I always answer like this "I sure am....My cousins friend uncle once held a door open for Mr. John Gotti...."....when I was younger people would ooh and ahhh..LOL...Then I would embellish the story a bit and say yeah they said he looked angry and was going to a sitdown...LOL After telling the story I was the belle of the ball for a whole day....LOL
I had to leave VR for at least 6 to 8 months due to medical reasons and family reasons....When I finally was able to come back I saw that my Coven only had one member in it. I later found out that Cancer decided for whatever reason to disband Covens that weren't active. This was in no way fair because due to very specific reasons I couldn't get to a computer for 6 months. I simply didn't have the free time or the opportunity to play on the PC. To make matters worse I later found out all my accounts got sent to that hell coven for whatever reason. So I was forced to make all new accounts to restock my Coven with members. I finally finished with my last account last night and now I can sit back and enjoy myself, finally because I'm back to 10 members from the 26 I did have. The 10 members are all me of course...LOL. This way I don't ever have to worry about anyone stabbing me in the back. I'm the CM, ACM, forum master etc....4 times it's happened to me where individuals took it upon themselves to just leave my Coven without even a message telling me they were going to do so. The reason being, they didn't like someone who I was friendly with. Wow, that's shallow indeed as they were also friends with people I despised...No worries, I guess they were never really my friend anyway. The sad part about it is that I would have gladly traded them to anywhere they wanted to be.... I would never want to keep someone in my Coven who didn't want to be there. I'm in a fantastic alliance and have real friends, not phony jerkoffs pretending to be a friend. I never have to make a new account again, my work is finally done...LOL
