It is absolutely mind blowing the amount of people that use a picture of someone else and claim/insinuate it is them. It's even more mind blowing when a person does it anytime they 'leave' and come back. In a community that isn't very big, it's pretty noticeable that some people are exactly the same as a 'person before them'.

And yet people still flock to those that do. They excuse the behavior even when they know something is up. It reinforces crappy behavior.

I cannot wrap my mind around it, and I just can't understand it- either situations.

I know catfishing happens, and it seems to happen a lot here, I just cannot fathom doing it to someone. And I can't fathom just being okay with knowing a person who is doing it.

It's just so.. gah. Really, just gah.

I was catfished. I'm not proud of it haha, I'm not even one to do the online dating thing...but this guy caught my attention and well...he was actually intelligent. Anyway, he also didn't use some outlandishly fake photo, a lot of people tend to use photos that are very obviously fake. A lot of the time, the photos they're using have been over used by others.
