I wonder if anyone can help me. For the past few nights I have been having this re-curring dream about a beautiful lavender dress. It is gothic-style. It has a full skirt with many layers, it has a lace covering over the skirt. The top is a beautiful bodice that is very similar to a bustier. It comes complete with head-wear similar to a top hat but with a beautiful lavender veil that has beautiful silver sparkles through it. I have been searching the internet for a similar style dress, but can't find one. The color is exactly the same as the color you find on the lavender flower, not quite dark purple but yet not quite lavender. If anyone is good with graphics or knows where I could find a dress similar to this description I would be greatly appreciative. It has been in my dreams for days now and I would love to actually SEE it!
Sounds like you are describing a renaissance faire gown. If you Google renaissance clothing, you will find several websites that offer this type of gown. If they don't have exactly what you are looking for, some will even custom design it for you.

The headgear you describe ,sounds to me like a victorian riding hat with a veil ,while the dress sounds mideval.You might need to look into two different time periods to find your match.
Thank you Oceanne. This is similar with the veil. The veil was extremely long and lacey, but the hat itself isn't right. The hat was more of a top hat. It's hard to describe from a dream, *SIGHS*
After a really bad few weeks, today I had some really good news, finally. So the first thing I did was to tell the one person who means the world to me and we both began to celebrate. I am truly happy now and nothing can damper it.
Autumn started 3 days ago and today is such a miserable day. It is cold, it is raining and it would be great to spend curled up on the couch with a nice warm blanket, watching a good movie. Some hot chocolate, some chocolate oreo's, my puppy on one side and my cat on the other side, keeping me warm. Sounds like a plan.
I love reading through random journals from the Journals section. Random reading like that is like walking along a beach, never knowing what you might find in the sand. Some of the ones I read tonight were wonderful, I left a few comments and saw some amazing photos. Just picking a few at random, some people I don't know, while there were others that I did know, sort of. None-the-less each journal entry I read was great. The ones I left a comment in were greater. *SMILES*
